While a number of TV industry figures learned the exciting news that their work is up for Primetime Emmy Awards on Thursday morning, several high-profile, eligible shows were left out.

00:03Who just got snubbed? Does the Academy think that show's a dud?

00:06Let's all talk about them here.

00:09Okay, while a number of TV industry figures learned the exciting news

00:12that their work is up for Primetime Emmy Awards on Thursday morning,

00:16several high-profile eligible shows were left out.

00:19The biggest snub? Game of Thrones with zero nominations.

00:26Okay, just wanted to see how you'd react.

00:28Not that I can actually see you.

00:30Anyway, Thrones was snubbed by the calendar.

00:33The show's seventh season, out July 16th,

00:36misses the May 31st Emmy eligibility cutoff.

00:39But series that actually were overlooked by the Emmys

00:41in major categories this year include

00:43The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,

00:46Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,

00:48Insecure, The Good Fight, The Big Bang Theory,

00:51Mr. Robot, and The Young Pope.

00:53Also, not receiving nominations in major categories

00:55for their final seasons, Girls,

00:57Although it did pick up mentions in the guest acting categories,

01:00Bloodline, and The Leftovers.

01:03While stars Keri Russell and Matthew Reese

01:05were nominated for Best Drama Actress and Actor Awards,

01:08respectively, for their roles in The Americans,

01:10the series itself was left out of the Best Drama category.

01:13Similarly, star Jeffrey Tambor was nominated for Transparent,

01:17but the show did not make the Best Comedy Series list.

01:20Plus, Insecure's Issa Rae and Girls' Lena Dunham

01:23were left out of the Best Comedy Actress category,

01:25and Homeland's Claire Danes didn't make the Drama Actress cut.

01:29Even Oprah herself was snubbed.

01:31She didn't score an individual mention for her acting

01:34in The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,

01:36which did pick up a nom for Best TV Movie.

01:39And while This Is Us received multiple nominations,

01:42star Mandy Moore was not one of the cast members

01:44singled out for her performance.

01:46Orange Is The New Black's Uzo Aduba,

01:48and Laverne Cox were singled out for the show's fourth season,

01:52but Samira Wiley, who was nominated for a performance

01:54in The Handmaid's Tale,

01:56did not make the list for her role in the Netflix series.

01:59Orange Is The New Black, by the way,

02:00also didn't receive a series nomination this year.
