00:00The action that we've taken at the budget will make a huge difference to children and their life
00:04chances. It will lift 450,000 children out of poverty and that runs alongside the expansion of
00:10free school meals, alongside free breakfast clubs and expanding childcare. This will make a huge
00:15difference to children and families across our country but it's also the right thing for our
00:19economy and for our society because as well as children paying the price of poverty we all pay
00:24the price around the wider cost of failure and this will mean that more children will be lifted
00:29out of poverty in this parliament than in any other parliament and I'm incredibly proud that
00:33it's this Labour government that's delivering.
