Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch criticises the 2025 Autumn Budget saying it’s “making things worse”. She says, “the reason why the UK is not growing is not because employees don’t have enough rights. We don’t have enough jobs – unemployment has increased every single month since Labour came into office”. Report by Ajagbef. 00:00Well, what I have said is that the things that are in the bill that are bad for jobs, bad for growth, bad for business, we will scrap them.
00:07Quite a lot of the things in there are really about unions, giving unions more powers, making it easier to strike, the rights to roam.
00:14Any business that's got 20 or more people, a union can come in whenever they like.
00:18They just need to let you know that they're coming.

00:22The reason why the UK is not growing is not because employees don't have enough rights.
00:27We don't have enough jobs.
00:29Unemployment has increased every single month since Labour came into office.

00:36I think they're hearing business saying we've had enough and that's why they've been forced to U-turn.
