00:00I have to keep reminding myself, like, oh, I'm nominated. That's, that's fun.
00:05Hi, I'm America Pereira, and I am nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
00:19I think what's really exciting is how many new faces there are.
00:22I thought Lily was unbelievable and so glad for her to be included in that category.
00:28Also, Greta Leigh, who didn't get a nomination, but I just loved Pass Alive so much,
00:34and I'm so glad the movie's being honored and that Celine won the DGA Award last night.
00:39And yeah, I mean, Daniel Brooks and Divine Joy, and it's amazing to see how much new,
00:47how many new faces are included in this conversation. It really means a lot to a lot of people.
00:51That's kind of such a fun part of this.
00:54I think that it's, it's respectful to be prepared. It's a possibility, right? Even if it's unlikely,
01:03it's possible you might have to stand on that stage. So I think it'd be insane not to, like,
01:08have some bullet points, you know? You never want to be the person who forgets to thank
01:12your husband or, like, your agent. I feel like there'd be so much regret looking back of, like,
01:18damn, I really should have prepared for that, you know? But I just think that anyone who's nominated
01:22should have some level of preparation, but that's how I would do it.
01:26The Bring Snacks reminder is, is a way, is a good one. And also Advil for the feet in the heels. And I've
01:40had a couple conversations with people. There's some, you know, juries out on, like, when to start
01:45drinking and how much to drink and, like, how to pace yourself to really make it through the night.
01:50At the Globes, Margo and I took a shot of tequila on the red, at the top of the red carpet.
01:56And that had never been my go-to, but I have to say, it was kind of nice.
02:04When we went to the Oscars for How to Train Your Dragon, both times, that was amazing. That was like
02:10being a plus one. You know, I was a small part of a massive team of people who made this movie and I
02:16got to be there to celebrate it, but no pressure was on me and no one expected us to win Best Feature
02:21Film. This year feels different. I have to keep reminding myself, like, oh, I'm nominated. That's,
02:28that's fun.
02:32I love hearing about people's children. I always go, I feel like when you talk about kids, it just,
02:37like, takes you out of the madness of being in the middle of a very stressful environment. So yeah,
02:42I think go-to is, how are the kids?
02:49It's home with my kids and my hope is that there's like sleep involved, lots of sleep involved,
02:57and just being home, honestly, like chilling out, coming down from this crazy, fun, wild ride.
