00:00Lupita Nyong'o is in final negotiations to star in A Quiet Place, Day 1.
00:05The film is a spinoff of Paramount's 2018 movie A Quiet Place,
00:08which became a surprise hit in the hands of director and star John Krasinski.
00:12It earned $340.9 million on a $17 million budget.

00:19Krasinski also directed A Quiet Place Part 2,
00:22which followed in 2021 and earned $297.3 million.

00:50is being kept under wraps, but we do know the film is due out March 8, 2024.
00:55In addition to this spinoff, a third installment of the main A Quiet Place film series
00:58is in the works and set for 2025.
