00:00Well, I might be one of the very few people in the country that actually are moderately supportive of the budget.
00:08All the damage was done from my point of view to Britain's GDP growth in the last budget.
00:14That was a very damaging budget to the future of Britain's inward investment and growth.
00:21This budget is about the best it could be under the circumstances.
00:25That said, there's some things that are very, very desperately missing.
00:28One of those things for sure is that they should be looking at cutting public spending, not increasing it.
00:35I'm a little bit worried about these universal credits for unlimited children.
00:40I really do want to eliminate child poverty.
00:43I spend my life doing that in my charities.
00:46I don't really want to do that, but I don't want to encourage people not to work.
00:50And we needed more measures to get people back to work.
00:53So overall, yeah, there's things missing that desperately needed to be in there, like inward investment strategies.
01:02But it's about as good as it could be.
