00:00No Chancellor is going to preview the budget a month before they deliver it.

00:05But what I would say is this, there was lots of speculation last year about what I was going to do in my budget.

00:11Lots of people who thought they knew what was going to happen.

00:14Lots of people who were urged to take money out of pensions and make decisions that were irreversible.

00:19And so I would say a lot of those people last year spoke nonsense and they continue to do so this year.

00:24People should wait to see what I deliver in my budget rather than listening to people who are not well informed.
