00:05First, the brand new series I Am Not Okay With This, starring Sophia Lillis of IT and IT Chapter 2,

00:20The show tells the story of Sydney, a teenage girl who's navigating the trials and tribulations of high school,

00:26all while dealing with the complexities of her family and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her.

00:32I spoke to the show's stars about what makes this series different than other superhero tales we've seen before.

00:37Kind of based off more of a coming-of-age story and in this case, the girl really doesn't want these superpowers

00:48and it's kind of what you think, oh, this is going to be like a typical origin story, but it's not.

00:55More what would it really be like if an angsty teenage girl suddenly got superpowers out of nowhere.

01:04So if you could have one superpower, what would it be?

01:09Why do you think people will love this show?

01:11I think there's a lot to love about the show.

01:13I feel like everyone's going to find their little spot or nook of the show that they really appreciate.

01:18One of my favorites is the fashion, I think.

01:20I feel like you can relate to the characters a lot.

01:22Each and every character is a very unique person that everyone can relate to in some sort of sense.

01:29Meanwhile, over in theaters, the sci-fi horror flick The Invisible Man, starring Elizabeth Moss, is now playing.
