Transcript
00:00Night one is in the books. We did really well with Sevens. Was it as hard, easier than you imagined? How do you feel?
00:06It was definitely hard. I'm not going to act like it wasn't easy. I'm lucky to have her.
00:10She's been putting me to work the last couple of weeks and I really have just been trying to listen and do her proud.
00:16So that's all I've been thinking of the entire time.
00:18How did he do as far as your expectations?
00:20He did better than I expected. This is such an intimidating show, first of all.
00:25And we went first and there's nothing scarier. Night one, premiere night to go first.
00:30I'm so proud of how he just executed everything. But more importantly, he had fun.
00:35He was smiling through and through. So I'm over the moon.
00:39We love to hear it. What are your own personal goals that you have going into this season that you want to achieve?
00:44Yeah, I first wanted to step outside my comfort zone. That was the real idea of all this.
00:47But then after meeting Jenna, after feeling good about where we were at, we've had a goal to make the finale.
00:52No Bachelor guy has ever made it to the finale before. So that's the first goal.
00:56And anything that comes after that, we'll make some other ones, hopefully.
00:58Yeah, I'm on board with that.
01:01And then from your time on The Bachelor, is there anything that you learned that you're bringing into your experience here
01:06on how you carry yourself or handle things differently or the same?
01:10It's so different. But the one thing that I would say is similar is that feeling you have before a live show on The Bachelor.
01:16I had that same feeling for tonight.
01:18But it's different because I have to perform here on The Bachelor.
01:21So I'm just myself, and I just kind of talk through how I'm feeling.
01:23But that, like, butterfly feeling in your stomach, a lot of people don't get that feeling anymore.
01:27So it's really cool to get it again doing something like this.
01:30And, I don't know, I'm going to chase that feeling each time.
01:32And then finally, so now that you have the first episode out of the way,
01:35are you feeling like, okay, I've got a good handle on the rest of the season?
01:38Or is it making you a little more like, all right, this is the work I had to put in?
01:42Yeah, I'm not going to get cocky in any way.
01:44I'm so excited that we got three sevens.
01:46I know we have a lot of work to do to get into next week.
01:49And I'm just going to keep listening to her.
01:52Great student, right here.
01:54Love to hear it.
