'Bachelorette' Jenn Tran dishes on her first performance on 'Dancing With the Stars' with partner Sasha Farber and says this is a start of a new journey while chatting with THR on the red carpet. Plus, she reveals who's been her biggest supporters through it all.

00:00You look so happy out there. Does this feel like maybe the start of a new journey, a new chapter for you?

00:05And what have you been enjoying?

00:06Yeah, absolutely. It's been a start of a new journey for me.

00:09It's a start of a journey for me, just pouring energy back into myself and really just healing and focusing on me.

00:16And it's been truly amazing. I've always wanted to be on Dancing with the Stars.

00:19I've always wanted to learn how to dance.

00:21And it just feels really good to be able to conquer a fear almost too,

00:25because I do have stage fright and it was kind of scary to be out there, but I had so much fun.

00:30Has the rehearsals and putting everyday work into this helped keep focus and maybe drown out outside stuff

00:37and just razor focus on one item?

00:40Yeah, absolutely. I mean, obviously there's a lot going on.

00:43And for me, the best part of it all is, again, I can just pour energy into myself

00:47and focus on something that I've always wanted to do.

00:50And Sasha's been great too, just helping me out, being such a positive light every day.

01:01We love that. And in your personal life, has there been someone who's been a big cheerleader

01:05and kind of helped motivate you along this way?

01:08Someone in my life?

01:09Yeah, who in your life has been like your personal cheerleader here?

01:12He's been really great. Honestly, we spend so much time together.

01:16I feel like we're just like best friends so quickly and he's really, really helped.

01:21And yeah, I mean, my brother, obviously, he's been so great as well.

01:24My mom, just all my friends and family have really come together.

01:27And also my community online have just come together to support me,

01:32and I couldn't be more grateful for it, truly.

01:34That's wonderful to hear.

01:35Has your time on The Bachelor helped you as far as like any lessons when you learned being on that show?

01:40Have you applied them to being here as far as like, you know,

01:43just like how to be on a show and how you carry yourself?

01:49Two very, very, two very different shows.

01:51But I think with being on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette,

01:55I just have to be myself and give it everything I can and do it with an open heart.

01:59And I'm doing the same thing here as like being myself, doing the best I can,

02:03and doing it with an open heart.

02:05So absolutely, it's definitely helped me.
