Former Playboy playmate Karen McDougal  sat down with CNN's Anderson Cooper to discuss her alleged affair with President Donald Trump across 10 months in 2006 and 2007.

00:00Did you still feel a sense of loyalty to Donald Trump?

00:04Karen McDougall, who alleges she had an affair with President Donald Trump for 10 months

00:07in 2006 and 2007, sat down with CNN's Anderson Cooper to discuss the relationship.

00:13The interview took place two days after she filed suit against National Enquirer

00:16publisher American Media Inc. to be released from a non-disclosure agreement.

00:21McDougall is the second woman claiming to have had an affair with President Trump

00:24and to have signed an NDA to be prevented from talking about it.

00:27Stephanie Clifford, an adult actress who goes by the stage name Stormy Daniels,

00:30also sued Trump to end her 2016 non-disclosure agreement and is scheduled to appear

00:35on Anderson Cooper 360 herself on March 25. McDougall explained to Cooper that the

00:40alleged affair began when Trump was filming a scene of the celebrity apprentice

00:43at the Playboy Mansion. Trump was married to Melania, who had just given birth

00:46to their son, Barron. McDougall says the now president asked McDougall for her phone number

00:51and the two began communicating frequently until their first official date in June of 2006.

00:56McDougall told Cooper that she first began to feel strange about the alleged relationship

01:00when she was expecting to go to dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel for their first date,

01:04but Trump's bodyguard took her to a bungalow.

01:06And I think at that moment is when I realized maybe something else is going on.

01:10However, McDougall said she met Trump again after the first meeting because he made her

01:14feel better about herself at a time when she was in a bad place in life.

01:17She also described him as charming and sweet.

01:20What everyone sees on TV, I didn't see in that man.

01:23When Cooper asked McDougall whether she was in love with Trump, she said she was and that he reciprocated.

01:28Did Donald Trump ever say to you that he loved you?

01:31All the time. He always told me he loved me.

01:34She claimed she saw him at least five times a month for 10 months and that he did not use

01:37protection during sex. McDougall told Cooper she met Melania Trump once at an apprentice

01:42release party at the Playboy Mansion and showed Cooper a photograph of the two and

01:46Ivanka Trump standing in a group at the party. She also brought a photo with her with Eric Trump

01:50at a Trump vodka release party. When Cooper asked if she had other documentation of the alleged

01:54relationship, she replied,

01:55If you're in a loving relationship, do you try and collect evidence?

01:58Cooper also brought up Stephanie Clifford's allegations about meeting Trump and having an

02:02extramarital relationship with him at a Lake Tahoe golf championship, where McDougall has

02:06also said she met Trump. McDougall said she was confused about Clifford's story and explained,

02:11My first thought was, how could she be with him when I was with him?

02:15She claimed that she was with Trump at every moment during the contest, except for when he

02:19went to the course.

02:20On Tuesday, McDougall filed suit against American Media Inc., claiming the organization,

02:24helmed by Trump friend and AMI CEO David J. Pecker, paid her $150,000 to keep silent.

02:31I just want the opportunity to set the record straight and move on with my life, free from

02:34this company, its executives and its lawyers, McDougall said in the suit.

02:38AMI has denied McDougall's claims, calling them completely without merit and claiming

02:42McDougall has been free to speak about the alleged relationship since 2016. McDougall added

02:47that she was a lifelong Republican and voted for Trump, whom she called, my president, and

02:51that she didn't have any regrets about the relationship except that he was married at the time.

02:55When Cooper asked McDougall what she would want Melania Trump to know if she watched the

02:59interview, McDougall responded tearfully.

03:01I wouldn't want it done to me. I'm sorry.

03:07The White House has denied McDougall's claims, calling them more fake news and saying Trump

03:11never had a relationship with McDougall.
