00:00Kellyanne Conway is responding to accusations made by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski
00:05on Monday's Morning Joe. On the MSNBC show, Brzezinski said Conway came on Morning Joe
00:10during the 2016 presidential campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion,
00:15and then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be
00:19taken off, and she would say,
00:21BLEC, I need to take a shower, because she disliked her candidate so much.
00:26Scarborough backed up his co-host. They both claimed Conway said,
00:29I'm just doing this for the money, and I'll be off this soon.
00:32Conway took to Twitter to respond to the accusations, saying,
00:35The notion that I am serving for the money or a paycheck is absurd. As a campaign manager,
00:41I made a fraction of what other consultants have made on unsuccessful presidential campaigns.
00:45Then I walked away from dozens of opportunities for millions of dollars and instead walked into
00:51the White House. I would do it again. She added,
00:53It is a privilege to assist President Trump in the White House, just as it was during the campaign.
00:58Conway's response comes as rumors continue to swirl that Trump might replace press secretary
