00:16their guidelines when she tweeted out a personal phone number. Kelly pointed out on her morning

00:20show Friday that was true. She added,

00:30she said, referencing President Donald Trump, well, him too. The Megyn Kelly Today host went

00:35on to recall how Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, went after her following a Republican primary

00:39debate, where she asked a question about the then-presidential candidate's remarks about

00:43women. You know, this one.

00:55The host specifically referenced one of Cohen's retweets after the highly publicized

00:59debate. She said Twitter didn't seem so quick to enforce its rules after Cohen shared a threat

01:04from a Trump supporter who wrote, we can gut her.

01:07The point is not to re-dredge up that old dispute. It's to say there's an inconsistency

01:12here and who is Twitter kidding, right? Give me a break. Twitter, do better.

01:16McGowan had a hold placed on her Twitter account Wednesday night. She shared a screenshot of

01:21a message from Twitter on her other social accounts that said she had violated their

01:24terms of service. It also said she would be locked out for 12 hours and had to delete

01:29certain tweets. McGowan's account was unlocked Thursday morning, with Twitter telling The

01:33Hollywood Reporter that the temporary lock was due to her tweeting out a private phone

01:37number. McGowan deleted that post to regain access. News of McGowan's Twitter suspension

01:42led many users, including Hollywood stars, to point out that white supremacists and

01:47President Donald Trump consistently provoke outrage, but their accounts aren't
