00:00The Malaysian International Search and Rescue Team, or MISAR, conducted a flood relief operation at Sekola Kebangsaan Desa Aman in Desa Coalfield on Tuesday evening, providing essential aid to approximately 957 evacuees sheltering at the relief center.
00:19The members were at the evacuation center to deliver essential supplies and support to flood victims displaced by the ongoing monsoon crisis.
00:28MISAR founder and chairman Captain K. Bala said the operation focused on addressing immediate humanitarian needs of families forced to flee their homes as floodwaters inundated residential areas across the district.
00:41The relief efforts provided essential support, distributing dry food supplies for adequate nutrition, baby care products for families with infants, and hand sanitizers to maintain hygiene.
00:54Bala adds as the weather conditions remain unpredictable and more rainfall is forecast, relief operations are expected to continue in affected areas throughout Selangor.
