Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has approved an immediate allocation of RM10mil through the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) to help flood victims in Sabah.

Anwar said the sum will be channelled directly to those affected for urgent repairs to basic infrastructure.

00:38At least 11 people were killed, and one remains missing after landslides hit Papar and Kota Kinabalu on Monday,
00:45following continuous rain that caused floods and slope failures across Sabah's west coast.
00:51Authorities have ordered residents in nearby areas to evacuate over fears of more landslides,
00:57while slopes in the affected zones are being closely monitored.
