32:31What about the terrible ones?
32:33But I am here to attest that my many years on this earth have taught me the sacred power
32:42of gratitude.
32:45And even if you live through crushing disappointments, you can be grateful for the love of those who
32:55lift you up.
32:56Someone who has felt the agony of a broken heart can be thankful that they still have
33:06the capacity to laugh and find joy in the small pleasures in life.
33:13People who have suffered terrible losses can be comforted and feel the hope that their hearts
33:20will heal and that they can love again.
33:25Those of us who have known isolation and loneliness, estrangement or alienation,
33:32can feel gratitude for the lessons it teaches us.
33:37Compassion and the willingness to reach out to others who have been marginalized.
33:42Someone who has failed, maybe over and over again, can find the strength to pick themselves up,
33:54to persevere, and to chart a new path.
33:58Those of us who are ashamed of our mistakes can realize it's never too late to ask for forgiveness
34:07and be redeemed.
34:11That's something to be thankful for.
34:14Amen to forgiveness and redemption.
34:17And then there are days when it's easy to be thankful.
34:23And thank God, this is one of them.
34:26This family is overflowing with love and blessings.
