00:13that performers from the show have faced.

00:15The Prime Video Project's official Twitter account

00:17shared a post on Wednesday that read,

00:19we stand in solidarity with our cast,

00:21along with a statement that strongly condemned

00:23racist reactions to the series cast members of color.

00:26The statement read, we, the cast of Rings of Power,

00:29stand together in absolute solidarity,

00:31and against the relentless racism, threats,

00:34harassment, and abuse some of our castmates of color

00:37are being subjected to on a daily basis.

00:39We refuse to ignore it or tolerate it.

00:42The message continued, J.R.R. Tolkien created a world

00:45which by definition is multicultural,

00:47a world in which free peoples from different races

00:49and cultures join together in fellowship

00:52to defeat the forces of evil.

00:53Our world has never been all white.

00:55Fantasy has never been all white.

00:57Middle Earth is not all white.

00:58By POC, belong in Middle Earth,

01:00and they are here to stay.

01:02The statement concluded by sending love to the fans

01:04who have been supporting the show.
