00:17Please respond.
00:27You can hide anywhere when you're 3 years old.
00:30My car is on top.
00:32You don't see it.
00:34You don't see it.
00:35You don't see it.
00:36You don't see it.
00:37Oh, my God.

00:45He's at 3.
00:47What's his name, ma'am?
00:48Bentley?
00:49Bentley?
00:50All the cabinets underneath the beds.
00:52We need to be double-checking.
00:56Bentley!
00:57What's your name?
00:58Huh?
00:59If you need a hold on here, you can.
01:00I don't know what to do.
01:01I don't know what to do.
01:02I don't know what to do.
01:06There's all these other dogs.
01:07They've got pit bulls.
01:08It was.
01:09Where is he?
01:10Where is he?
01:11Where is he?
01:12Where is he?
01:13Where is he?
01:14Where is he?
01:15Where is he?
01:16Where is he?
01:17Where is he?
01:18A toy?
01:19No, no, no, no.
01:20No, no, no.
01:21That's a dog.
01:23We got a family woman off in the woods.
01:26We've got a family woman off in the woods.
01:27We've got a person here.
01:28Woo!
01:35They're outside the front yard, and they were with the dog.
01:38And the kid and the dog are missing,
01:40and they were last seen 20 minutes ago.
01:43OK, I need every available investigator
01:45to help search for this child.
01:47He's never walked it off like this before.
01:51There's a body of water at the end of the room.
01:54The neighbors got picked for him.
01:56He's super small, so he can pick anywhere.
02:01Woo!
02:03Yeah!
02:06So what exactly do we have?
02:11A three-year-old white male.
02:14His name's Bentley.
02:15He has shorts on and boots.
02:16It's getting really cool when it's getting dark.
02:18That's definitely a concern.
02:20Directly behind the house, there's a lot of water
02:22and a bunch of creeks that run off of it.
02:25What's the distance between that water and the house?
02:28About a half a mile.
02:29OK, so something he could do.
02:30Yeah.
02:31OK.
02:32I'll go talk to Mom, go off search the woods,
02:35and check the water.
02:36OK.
02:37Yeah.
02:38He could be anywhere.
02:42Bentley!
02:51Bentley!
02:52Is there any direction that he would go?
03:01He was right there.
03:02And then he was gone.
03:03Please find him.
03:04Please.
03:05Find my baby.
03:06Please find my baby.
03:07Listen to me.
03:09You take a second and slow down.
03:14Do you hear how I'm talking?
03:15Look at me.
03:16Look at me.
03:17I want you to look right at me.
03:18Take a breath.
03:19And I want you to slow down.
03:20OK?
03:21I want you to slow down.
03:22Everybody with me?
03:24Bentley!
03:26Bentley!
03:27I want you to slow down.
03:29OK?
03:30I want you to slow down.
03:32Everybody with me?
03:34Bentley!
03:35Bentley!
03:38Bentley!
03:56Bentley!
04:06Sergeant Raines.
04:07Okay, spell your first name.
04:09Okay.
04:10Okay.
04:11They found him.
04:12They found him.
04:13They found him.
04:17Yeah, everything is over. We got it.
04:19Thank you, sir.
04:30Hey, big guy.
04:31Look how big you are.
04:32How you doing?
04:33Hey, baby.
04:34You fine?
04:35You fine?
04:36You fine?
04:37You fine?
04:38You fine?
04:39Yeah.
04:40Oh, can I biggle?
04:42My cheese boy.
04:54Hey, Heidi.
04:55Hey, Vicki.
04:56We have a new case.
04:57He's a former college student, and he's missing from his apartment.
05:01It's completely out of character. His mother's worried sick.
05:04I have a really bad feeling about this one.
05:06Hi, Ms. Duncan.
05:07This is Sergeant Raines with Richland County Sheriff's Department.
05:08Hey, Sergeant Raines.
05:09How are you?
05:10Doing good.
05:11Um, I'm just calling to see if by any chance you've heard from Morgan, I have the missing
05:14person report.
05:15Nope.
05:16We're still worried about him.
05:17It says that you haven't seen him since Thanksgiving.
05:18So you saw him Thanksgiving Day, but not on the other day.
05:19No.
05:20No.
05:21No.
05:22No.
05:23No.
05:24No.
05:25No.
05:26No.
05:27No.
05:28No.
05:29No.
05:30No.
05:31No.
05:32No.
05:33No.
05:34No.
05:35No.
05:36No.
05:37No.
05:38No.
05:39No.
05:40No.
05:41I'm just calling to see if by any chance you've heard from Morgan.
05:42I have the missing person report.
05:43No.
05:44We're still worried about him.
05:45No.
05:46No.
05:47No.
05:48No.
05:49No.
05:50No.
05:51No.
05:52No.
05:53No.
05:54No.
05:55No.
05:56No.
05:57No.
05:58No.
05:59No.
06:02He had a post that he would at least
06:03have been active on social media.
06:05And nothing happened to cause this, like,
06:08he didn't say, hey, I'm upset about this or anything like that?
06:17OK.
06:27Hey, I was just going to let you know,
06:29his mom hasn't spoken to him since a couple of days
06:31after Thanksgiving.
06:32That's over a week ago.
06:34And apparently he's schizophrenic.
06:37That doesn't sound good.
06:39So I'm headed out to the apartment complex now.
06:41I spoke to Investigator Ruiz, and he's
06:43going to meet me out there.
06:44OK, check back in when you have one.
06:47I'll keep you updated whatever we find out.
07:01Hey, Kerwin.
07:02Hey, Sergeant.
07:03Did you get the keys?
07:06Yeah.
07:07Sheriff's Department.
07:09Morgan, are you at home?
07:10Morgan, are you at home?
07:12Sheriff's Department.
07:35Morgan, are you at home?
07:36Sheriff's Department.
07:43Morgan.
07:48Morgan.
07:53Morgan.
07:54Morgan.
08:07Doesn't look like anything's packed.
08:13Gosh, we need to make sure he's not under these clothes.
08:18God forbid I've had that happen before.
08:26Sarge, there's a phone right here.
08:34That looks like medicine.
08:40And the wallet, driver license.
08:43Social security card.
08:46Look, here's his money card.
08:49That's bad.
08:50So he didn't take anything?
08:53Did something happen to him?
08:55I mean, I'm concerned.
08:57Unless he just disappeared.
08:59They just decide to go away.
09:02I mean, if his cards, why would you not want to access your money?
09:04What, are you going to leave your phone back?
09:06Your phone name, your card.
09:08I mean, that's his only way to communicate or have money.
09:12It's like he just vanished.
09:19Let's ask around and see if anybody knows anything.
09:29My name is Sergeant Raines.
09:30This is Investigator Ruiz.
09:32Do you know Morgan Duncan?
09:34I was thinking about him yesterday and I'm like, have I seen him?
09:37Unusual, because I used to see him every day.
09:40And you know, and I'll run out and call him and tell him, come get something.
09:43I may have something for him or whatever.
09:45But I haven't seen him since Thanksgiving.
09:46That's what we were going to ask.
09:47We have a missing person report on him.
09:49So we're trying to find him.
09:52Do you know if he has any problems with anybody or anything?
09:55Not to my knowledge.
09:55He always real cool to me.
09:57I mean, he always respect me, take my trash out or, you know.
10:01And he'll come past and they said, can you fix me something to eat?
10:04And most of the time I do.
10:06No.
10:07And I just haven't seen.
10:10I can tell you, day before he was missing, I was walking from Springtree.
10:15And he was crossing the street.
10:17He was by himself.
10:19He normally held me like that, eh, ma'am?
10:23But he didn't held me that day.
10:31Morgan is always smiling.
10:33If no one else is smiling, he's smiling.
10:36Bubbly.
10:37Just always got something funny to say.
10:41Cracking jokes.
10:42If he saw somebody carrying a bag that was too heavy, you know,
10:45he's going to go over there and grab it and help him, you know.
10:48He was brought up with good morals, morals, you could tell.
10:52I have to keep reminding him, don't call me man.
10:54That makes me feel awful, though.
10:58But then just before Thanksgiving, it was like something was off.
11:02Something wasn't right with Morgan.
11:06He just kind of, he wasn't out and about as much as he usually was.
11:11Seemed like he was just staying home.
11:12More reclusive.
11:13And then Thanksgiving gets here, and Morgan's gone.
11:28Hello.
11:29Good.
11:30How are you doing?
11:31Good.
11:32What are you guys, police back in there?
11:34Yeah.
11:34Are you looking for the massacre?
11:36Do you know him?
11:37I do.
11:39He was a very good guy.
11:41I mean, that's what everybody seems to say.
11:42Very, you know, kind.
11:45Anything you ask him, he would definitely give it to you.
11:47I mean, I don't know where he might have been.
11:51I mean, I think he's so blind, but it's not normal for him to be gone.
11:55That's what everybody says.
11:56Everybody says he's nice and that it's not normal for him not to be walking around talking to everybody.
12:00And honestly, I wouldn't know who he would be with.
12:03That was going to be my next question.
12:04Yeah, I don't know who he would be with.
12:06I, you know, I just met him.
12:08You don't ever see him with anybody out here?
12:10No, he's usually by himself.
12:12Yeah, he's usually by himself, and I don't know where he would be, but he was such a nice guy.
12:19Just so nice.
12:20Just so nice.
12:21So nice.
12:26Do you live here in this building?
12:29Do I?
12:30I'm homeless.
12:31Do you live?
12:32Oh.
12:33Yeah, I stay with my boyfriend right here.
12:34Oh, okay.
12:35Yeah, in this car.
12:36Do you just hang out here?
12:37Yeah, I just know a couple of people.
12:38Take showers.
12:39Okay.
12:40I'm sorry.
12:41Thanks.
12:42No, you're good.
12:43You're good.
12:44Listen.
12:45Did that feel odd to you?
12:46Yeah.
12:47Write this tag number down.
13:00Huh?
13:01Huh?
13:02I was just seeing you write.
13:04You write notes on everything.
13:06Yeah.
13:07Have a good day.
13:18She was so overly friendly, like no one walks up to the police and talks to them.
13:24But the weirdest part is she talked about him in the past tense.
13:37Is she gonna love you?
13:38I think she's like, oh.
13:39Yeah.
13:40I think she is.
13:41You know what is going on?
13:42Yeah.
13:43Is he going to love you?
13:44Is everybody's like this?
13:45This is my favorite song.
13:46Is it my dog?
13:47Is this my dog?
13:48Is it my dog?
13:49Is my dog?
13:50Is it my dog?
13:51Is it my dog?
13:52Is it my dog?
13:53Is it my dog?
13:54Is it my dog?
13:55Is it my dog?
13:56Here you go.
13:57He posts videos of himself rapping on Facebook,
14:01but he hasn't posted anything for over a week.
14:03Okay. Have you told his mom what you found in his apartment yet?
14:11This is Sergeant Raines.
14:14So we went out to his apartment, and his wallet's there,
14:18his cell phone is there, his medication.
14:20So that's really odd.
14:27Oh, gosh.
14:33The apartment organizations that help young people
14:36who have mental health skills.
14:38Okay.
14:39Helps him get that apartment over at Springtree.
14:42And a lot of the big clients live over there.
14:44Okay.
14:44According to the apartment,
14:47and they know Morgan, he's disappeared.
14:53I'm sorry I got to stress out.
14:55This is so unliked about the call.
15:06The Japanese continue their search now for a missing man.
15:09He's 27-year-old Morgan Duncan.
15:12He was last seen at his home on the 200 block of Springtree Drive in Columbia.
15:16This was back on Tuesday, November 28th.
15:20Authorities say he is in need of his prescribed medications.
15:22Like the saying, so-and-so will take the clothes off of their back for you.
15:28Morgan's really that type of guy.
15:30I remember in high school, I purchased some clothes from him because he really had some really nice clothes,
15:35and I couldn't afford to get clothes from the store.
15:40I bought $100 worth of clothes from him, and he lost the $100 bill that same afternoon.
15:45I didn't know this, though.
15:47The next day, he came back and brought another bag of clothes in addition.
15:52And that's when he had told me that he had lost a $100 bill.
15:55So that really kind of sunk into me.
15:57I was like, wow, even though this guy had lost the whole $100 that I just gave him,
16:02he was still kind enough to bring me more clothes the next day.
16:08But I think some things were a little off sometimes.
16:11Some days, he used to come to school, and he was just not put together, if you catch what I'm saying.
16:20Stressed out, you can just see the stress.
16:22I would see him post often on social media of him just standing in downtown Columbia.
16:26And I know that if you're standing downtown Columbia at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., with just nothing else to do,
16:35something doesn't look right.
16:37I'm like, wait a second.
16:39What is he doing down there?
16:41We'll just start at the beginning.
16:51Our missing person is Morgan Duncan.
16:53He is a 27-year-old Bravo Mike.
16:55The complainant, Latonza Duncan, hasn't physically seen her son since she saw him on Thanksgiving.
17:01In Morgan's apartment, we locate his wallet, cell phone, his schizophrenia medicine.
17:06And according to Morgan's mother, he relies very heavily on those drugs.
17:11So that's a red flag.
17:12We spoke to many people at the apartment complex.
17:15He takes out their trash.
17:16They talk to him.
17:17They give him food.
17:18They make him coffee.
17:19None of them have seen or heard from him.
17:22He's had contact with no one.
17:25But while we're there, a mixed female and a Hispanic male just walk up and start talking to us.
17:31She tells us that she's homeless, and that's her boyfriend, and that's his vehicle, and they live in there together.
17:38She seems very forthcoming, but it was really odd.
17:41Okay.
17:41So we ran her boyfriend's vehicle and tags.
17:44They came back clear.
17:46Springtree is pretty much surrounded by woods, so we'll need to search that area.
17:57Morgan is off his meds.
17:58He could be hiding out.
18:01Beyond the woods is an abandoned theater.
18:07We need to rule that out also.
18:15But watch your back inside the theater.
18:18It's known for drug use and criminal activity.
18:27Where's the apartment?
18:29That one.
18:30Okay.
18:30Just stay very close to me, but on the side, maybe 10, 15 feet, no more.
18:38Lisa, go.
18:51You alive?
18:52Yeah.
18:53There's a fresh soda bottle.
19:14People have been in here.
19:15If anybody sees something suspicious, let me know.
19:20We don't have the dog to it, okay?
19:23It's a little thicker than it looks.
19:28This is deep.
19:35Anything over there?
19:36You got my back?
19:46You got my back.
19:47Okay.
19:58Morgan!
19:58OK.
20:01Morgan!
20:12Theater's clear.
20:19Dang, look at that.
20:22There's actually a path through here.
20:28Somebody was staying back here.
20:35They have a fire pit and a tarp.
20:38And then there's wrappers, like, from food and everything.
20:41And it's clear. Like, you can see they cut it.
20:46He could be out here because he's off his meds
20:49and maybe he's just, you know, a little confused and stuff.
20:54But if Morgan was here, he's long gone.
20:58Hello?
20:59Hi, this is Sergeant Rains with Richland County Sheriff's Department.
21:04I spoke to Morgan Duncan's mother, and she said you may be able to help us with this missing person case.
21:05Um, can I close my door real quick?
21:06Absolutely.
21:07OK.
21:08OK.
21:09Are you there?
21:10Yes.
21:11Yes.
21:12So, I don't know where exactly you want me to start.
21:14Um, we haven't seen Oregon.
21:15So, last week, I requested the welfare check.
21:18Mm-hm.
21:19And so, an officer came out with me and we looked in the unit.
21:20He wasn't there.
21:21He wasn't there.
21:22It's really strange.
21:23Nobody has seen him.
21:24And the third one.
21:25And the third one.
21:26That's a good one.
21:27How do you want to help us with this missing person case?
21:29Um, can I close my door real quick?
21:31Okay. Are you there?
21:34Yes.
21:35So, I don't know where exactly you want me to start.
21:40We haven't seen Oregon, so last week I requested a welfare check.
21:45And so an officer came out with me, and we looked in the unit.
21:49He wasn't there.
21:50It's really strange, and nobody has seen him.
21:53And the phone is going straight to voicemail.
21:56Right.
21:56So, I've been worried about what's going on out there with all these clients.
22:02Okay.
22:03We suspect that they might be kind of preyed upon.
22:07Some people out there, they've just kind of took over a client apartment.
22:12Wow, okay.
22:13She was in one of the units.
22:15Some guy walked in and said they were staying there now.
22:19And she'd never met them before.
22:22They didn't meet her.
22:23She was terrified of them.
22:25Oh, my.
22:27Okay.
22:28Wow.
22:30The deputy told us to get the client into sister care to get her away from there.
22:34Okay.
22:37Hmm.
22:38I mean, they're going among a lot of different clients.
22:42And they're just too scared to do anything?
22:44Like, they don't call 911 or anything?
22:46Yeah.
22:46They're very scared of them.
22:48Do you think, I mean, just your opinion, do you think they did the same thing to Morgan?
22:54I don't know.
22:56Okay.
22:59But I am worried about it.
23:01There's something going on out there.
23:08I don't know if that has anything to do with why Morgan's missing.
23:11The vibe is just completely off.
23:12The nonprofit are telling us that their clients are reporting people coming to their door,
23:17forcing their way in their apartment, and they're scared because these people are violent.
23:22Seems like there's some vulnerable people that are being taken advantage of in the situation.
23:25It's just so weird.
23:26I haven't heard of, like, a whole apartment complex being part of this kind of weird stuff going on.
23:31Right, just getting taken over.
23:34So, somebody take over his apartment?
23:37We need to speak to their clients making these reports because that might lead us to Morgan.
23:45Do you know anything about Morgan's disappearance?
23:49I didn't know he disappeared until now.
23:51Anybody tried to hurt you? Anybody tried to come into your apartment on you?
23:55I don't want to get the police involved because...
23:57I know. We're going to protect you, okay?
24:01They came to my door.
24:04Wow, okay.
24:06I was intimidated.
24:07How many guys were there?
24:10Two.
24:13Do you know of anything that they were doing?
24:15Hustling, smoking, drinking, not a city of weed, give them a week, the week turned into two weeks.
24:24Then you were scared, yeah?
24:26I'll have to go through that again.
24:29Do you remember the name of the guys who did that to you?
24:34There was a guy named Jersey.
24:38Jersey.
24:39That's his name, Jersey.
24:41Oh, wow.
24:42Jersey is the one that beat me up.
24:45He went down there.
24:47He said, don't open your mouth, bitch.
24:49Don't say another word.
24:51He took the pillow over my face and I couldn't breathe.
24:54I was so scared.
24:58He cooked up dough.
25:00Crap.
25:01Yes, man.
25:02Don't let me out.
25:04He said if I put the police on him, that he was going to kill me.
25:07We tried to find a temporary location for you that's safe.
25:10They're preying on all of you out there.
25:15So, you know how Jersey was going in someone's apartment, taking over?
25:22Yeah, he was trying to beat Billy the bad man.
25:25You ever seen him with Morgan?
25:28Yeah.
25:30Jersey?
25:31Yes, ma'am.
25:31So Captain Jackson has been trying to gather information.
25:52It sounds like there's a gang or something operating out there.
25:56She actually was given a name, the name Jersey.
26:00He is known to force his way into other residents that live at Springtree and kind of take over
26:05and is very abusive to them.
26:07He has beaten them.
26:08Our victim, Jersey, was in his apartment.
26:13Right now, he is definitely our suspect, and we are at least a person of interest.
26:17So the name Jersey, it's going to be an alias.
26:20Brittany, if you could look into who Jersey actually is,
26:24and if he has a criminal history or anything like that.
26:26His favorite saying was that he's got that gun in there.
26:35Jersey?
26:36Jersey.
26:38Do you know if he had a gun?
26:41I saw the clip.
26:46Do you know if it had bullets here?
26:47Yes, it did.
26:49Were you afraid?
26:51Yes, I was.
26:52Are you afraid of Jersey now?
26:55Yes.
26:56Got you.
27:13Anything else you can think of?
27:15Well, this doesn't have anything to do with this,
27:18but it does have to do with Morgan,
27:19and I think they two are tied together.
27:22Okay.
27:22Do someone else.
27:24They need to be able to shed some light.
27:27Who's that?
27:29His name is James.
27:31Mm-hmm.
27:33Do you know his last name?
27:35Yeah.
27:36Kelly?
27:37Is James Kelly a resident at Springtree?
27:43Yeah.
27:44Okay.
27:45You don't realize all this stuff can be really helpful,
27:48because we just got to find Morgan.
27:50He's not a bad guy.
27:52Well, I don't think he just did, did it.
27:58Hey.
27:59Hey, Vicki.
28:00I just got done interviewing one of the clients at that non-profit.
28:04Okay.
28:04She said that we should interview somebody named James Kelly.
28:08She made it sound like it was kind of important.
28:11Oh, really?
28:11Yeah, he's the guy that lives across from Morgan.
28:22Hello.
28:22Hey.
28:23How are you?
28:23All right, how are you?
28:24Are you James?
28:26Yeah.
28:26So we're looking for...
28:29Morgan.
28:29Mm-hmm.
28:31So anybody that he might know...
28:32I don't care.
28:34You don't care what happened to him?
28:35No.
28:36He's not your friend?
28:37I'm pissed at him for bringing the cops to Mendoza.
28:39I don't like him.
28:40Well?
28:41I've lived here eight years.
28:42First time I've had police at my door.
28:44Better be the last.
28:46Well, you never know.
28:47Hopefully it will.
28:48Nothing against y'all.
28:49I just don't be able to police.
28:52How long have you known him?
28:54What, three months, four months?
28:55Oh, that's all?
28:56Yeah.
28:56Okay.
28:58Do you have any idea where he would be?
28:59No, I mean, I...
29:00Because we have to find him.
29:01We can't stop looking for him until we find him.
29:03I mean, I don't know.
29:05I don't have no idea.
29:06Yeah.
29:07Well, hopefully we can find him.
29:11Well, thank you for talking to us.
29:13All right.
29:13Thank you, James.
29:14Have a good day.
29:14Okay.
29:20Wow.
29:22He did not want to talk to us.
29:25I'm not really sure what's going on in there,
29:27but there was a guy sitting at the counter,
29:29and then he got up and he goes and he shuts the bedroom door.
29:31Hello?
29:35Hey, so, James Kelly.
29:38He acted really scared, like he was very hesitant.
29:42There was some guys in the apartment...
29:44...that were, like, standing right behind him,
29:45listening to what he was saying.
29:47I can't say if it was or was not Jersey in his apartment,
29:50but if it was, maybe he can lead us to Morgan.
29:53Okay.
29:54That might be the same scenario.
29:56Where they're coming in and preying on all of these people.
29:59Hey, Vicki, hold on just a minute.
30:00I don't know if it was Jersey in his apartment,
30:27but if it is, he knew we saw them.
30:30So we need to hit James' address right now.
30:33Yes.
30:34I'm just thinking this could be a lot bigger
30:36than what we're thinking it is.
30:38Yeah, I've never seen anything like this before.
30:42I'm going to need some backup.
30:43Our target's going to be Alterique Cuffy, a.k.a. Jersey.
30:57He's wanted in connection with the missing person case.
31:10He has a very violent criminal history.
31:13We've been told that he is holding people in the apartments hostage.
31:17Today, we're going to be hitting apartment poor,
31:19which is James Kelly's apartment.
31:21When we visited James, he wouldn't let us in.
31:24He was very nervous,
31:25and there was two unidentified males in the background.
31:29We suspect one of them could be Jersey,
31:32and witnesses say he's armed.
31:34We suspect one of them may be true.
31:54Hey, we're all hitting this house.
32:06I'll call you right back, okay?
32:11Hey, Rich, look out.
32:12Sheriff's department.
32:15Yes?
32:16Step out.
32:19Keep your hands out, Spock.
32:23What's going on there?
32:24Get behind the car.
32:27This is Rich, the county sheriff's department.
32:29Come on now with your hands visible and wait for other instructions.
32:34Hey, Rich, the county sheriff's department.
32:37Y'all gonna kill me.
32:38We're trying to help you.
32:39I know, but God.
32:49But there's nobody in there.
32:51Have you seen Jersey?
32:55Jersey?
32:56You don't know where he's at?
32:58Trust me, if I knew where he was at, I'd let y'all know.
33:01You know where he had gone?
33:02In Japan?
33:04Does he have a phone?
33:05I don't know, but I'm ready for this to be over with.
33:11Hey, we got James Kelly.
33:13There's no one else in the apartment, but he seems terrified.
33:18I think he knows more than he's letting on.
33:20We know people are trying to scare you.
33:28We can help you, but we're going to need you to work with us.
33:32I'm trying to put all this behind me.
33:34I get it, but there's only one way to make that happen.
33:40Talk to the police, because we can arrest those people and get them away.
33:44Yeah.
33:46Spring Tree was a beautiful place to live.
33:49And it's like they all come at one time.
33:52The swarm.
33:52Yeah, it got flooded.
33:55Like a hornet's nest or something.
34:03All right, James.
34:05We do understand some of the stuff that's going on in that apartment complex.
34:09You know, people being scared to live there.
34:11All kinds of stuff going on.
34:14And nobody should have to live like that, right?
34:17Because that should be your peaceful place to live.
34:20It used to be.
34:22How did you hear?
34:25A jersey?
34:28Through Morgan.
34:29Morgan.
34:30What did Morgan say?
34:31He just said he was a dope boy.
34:33Okay.
34:34And he's making the complex hot.
34:36Mm-hmm.
34:37I mean, Morgan can tell you, but you can't find Morgan.
34:40Right.
34:43Did Morgan ever tell you if he was scared or anything?
34:46Yeah.
34:47He's scared.
34:48Okay.
34:48Well, I was scared.
34:49I don't know if he was scared of the six fucking month.
34:53Okay.
34:55I'm scared to do that.
34:59But he's getting dope on credit.
35:02Who, Morgan?
35:03Yeah.
35:04Yeah.
35:04I mean, he owes one drug dealer $600, the other drug dealer $1,000.
35:17Get your double job.
35:18Morgan.
35:38Oh, yeah, you know how I do, coming through the metro.
35:43You know how I be.
35:46Morgan, you know, he has a drug problem.
35:52I was trying to do the tough love thing with the drug addiction,
35:56like, put him to go get some help.
35:58Yeah.
35:59It's been a struggle.
36:02I can't even imagine.
36:04The mental health stuff is the worst thing.
36:07I didn't have too much money to put him in facilities.
36:10Like, it was $3,000 a month.
36:12And that was more than my mortgage.
36:14And I did it for as long as I could.
36:16Yeah.
36:18He just loved him.
36:20He didn't grow up doing what he's doing now, you know?
36:23I feel like he's just hiding from somebody,
36:25and we're going to find him.
36:27That's what I feel like.
36:29I usually am right.
36:30Like, I would...
36:32I don't know that I've ever actually gotten one wrong.
36:35All right. Good night.
36:36All right. Good night.
36:37Good night.
36:38Good night.
36:39Too soon, Chris Stitten.
36:40Good night.
36:41Good night.
36:42Good night.
36:43Much of the time, we don't know what we have until it's gone.
36:47Much of the time, we don't know what we have until it's gone.
37:02The pain and suffering that people go through feels unbearable in the moment.
37:09It can be a child, a mother, a father, or even a friend who's missing.
37:14And in that moment, we all wish we had that second chance to put things right before it's too late.
37:24That's why I work missing persons, to bring people back, to give people that second chance.
37:31That's why, no matter what, we will find you.
37:44Check out this easy.
37:45It's that goddamn, um, it's that side baby right here.
37:51Easy.
38:00Hey, Heidi.
38:02Hey, Vicky.
38:02I'm going through Morgan's social media, and I came across this guy, Easy Green.
38:08There's a picture of him and Morgan together.
38:10Have you heard that name?
38:11I haven't heard that name.
38:13Okay.
38:15I'd be interested to talk to him.
38:21When is the last time you saw Morgan?
38:22Like three weeks ago.
38:24His routine was come over there in the morning, get some coffee, get a cigarette.
38:30Stayed for an hour or two, then he'll go back here and be like, I'm tired of going back home because he was on the medicine.
38:37Yeah.
38:37And then I ain't seen him no more.
38:41Nobody's seen him no more.
38:43We've been looking for him because we was worried about him after a week.
38:46What do you think happened to him?
38:49I really don't know.
38:51The thing about Morgan, he always on Facebook.
38:54And he's not?
38:55No, he's not on Facebook.
38:56So that's what made me like, because me and him, you know what I mean, friends on Facebook.
39:00So I know, like I know him.
39:02He always posted, posted, posted.
39:05Always rapping, posted, posted.
39:07And he's not on Facebook.
39:08Something had to happen to him that, you know what I mean?
39:10Like, I'm hoping people are in front of him.
39:16Do you know Jersey?
39:19I heard of him.
39:20I don't know him.
39:21You've never seen him?
39:22Like he got a bald head?
39:24Mm-hmm.
39:24I haven't seen him, but I don't know him.
39:26Where do you see him at?
39:27Usually at that store, A&P.
39:31Jersey be out there trying to act like he sell drugs.
39:35That was probably like a month ago, though.
39:37Well, you see, and Morgan seem to be good friends.
39:44He knows a lot about Morgan's movements.
39:48Yeah, and according to him, no one's seen Jersey since Morgan disappeared.
39:53It all keeps coming back to the same suspect.
39:57Jersey.
39:57Jersey.
40:07It's narcotics.
40:08I guess you want a little more information about the Al-Tariq guy?
40:12I guess he's related to, like, a missing person now?
40:14Yeah, so you know how he's also known as Jersey?
40:17Mm-hmm.
40:18His name keeps coming up in a case that we're working.
40:21Jersey was in his apartment a couple times, and he was seen walking around with Jersey,
40:26so that's the last known person to see him alive.
40:29Mm-hmm.
40:29All of the witnesses are saying that Jersey's very violent.
40:33We know he's affiliated with some drug dealings out of Springtree, which is where our missing
40:37person case is.
40:39So I was trying to figure out if you guys know anything about him.
40:43He's connected to one of the other targets that we're investigating.
40:46Big guy in South Carolina that's selling a lot of drugs.
40:49I mean, we're trying to find this guy, but we obviously don't want to talk to somebody
40:54and mess up something that you guys are already working.
40:56I don't see why not.
41:03It's plausible that he's related to the missing person, and there's only one way to find out.
41:09Talk to Jersey.
41:14Okay, so this is what we have.
41:17After speaking with multiple people, we have learned that Morgan owed several drug dealers
41:23money, but one name that continues to surface is Jersey.
41:28Narcotics is familiar with him.
41:30He's connected to high-level dealers.
41:32He's violent, and he's the last person seen with Morgan.
41:36And since Morgan disappeared, Jersey hasn't been seen.
41:39So I think the best plan of action is we head back out to Springtree and start searching the
41:47addresses that are linked to the victims and try to find anything that links to Jersey.
41:53Sheriff's department.
42:11Okay.
42:16Wow, look at this.
42:20Good God.
42:21There's something weird over there.
42:28There's like a bin full of like a liquid.
42:31Something's in there.
42:33Don't smell it.
42:34It hit me in the face.
42:36What the?
42:37Oh God.
42:39Howdy.
42:40What is that?
42:49We know for a fact Jersey used to stay in here.
42:54So, could be something Jersey put there.
42:57I mean, do you think that's like...
42:59I hate to say it, but...
43:01That could be a body part.
43:05That could be a body part.
43:05What?
43:06Look at that.
43:12Yeah.
43:12Yeah.
43:12Yeah.
43:13Yeah.
43:13Yeah.
43:14I mean...
43:23I love it.
43:24Yeah.
43:25Yeah.
43:26Yeah.
43:26Yeah.
43:27Yeah.
43:27Yeah.
43:27Yeah.
43:27Let's go.
43:57Let's go.
44:27Let's go.
44:57Let's go.
