00:00Hi, I'm Jaknoor Kaur. I'm currently pursuing my PGDM from soil and majoring in marketing.
00:10I interned at Kisanse, which is a farm to fork FMCG company. I was a social media intern where
00:17I handled the content creation and social media strategy. I worked on digital content creation
00:23and social media marketing. I made content for their Instagram and Facebook as well. I also
00:30worked with the operations team where we analyze the stock availability of all the products.
00:37I believe the consistency and the clarity of communication and also the design driven
00:43approach. Instead of just executing the task, I was more focused on thinking why we are doing
00:49it and make it more personal to the customers. On the first year of soil, they gave me an
00:55opportunity to work with the NGOs and where I deeply connected with the farmers and the
01:01village people, which helped me understand what they go through and on the same way Kisanse
01:07works with the farmer group. With that, I empathized and connected more with them and I understood
01:13what they were going through and what exactly they want. Soil's curriculum is designed in
01:19such a way that it gives us a holistic understanding, be it subjects like marketing or design thinking
01:25or even human resources. All of these subjects give us a deeper understanding and it made me
01:31understand better about what I need to do at the internship. Beyond academics, Soil focuses
01:37on leadership, empathy and collaboration, which helped me build the professional maturity that
01:43I needed in Excel the internship. I believe that work culture is very important. Even if you are
01:50working very hard, try to build good, deeper connection with whomever you work. It will bring
01:55more energy and creativity in you.
