01:32Hmm.
01:33I happen to have an envelope, let's say.
01:36No.
01:38I don't think I've ever had steak around you. There's no way.
01:42Ding, dang, ding, dang, ding, dang.

05:30Masters of Illusion is just getting started
05:33This performer is a magician who has captivated audiences around the globe with his innovative, visually stunning magic
05:59Known for pushing the boundaries of traditional illusions, please welcome the incredible Jackie Yu
06:07Yeah
06:09All right, I'll tell you a story I had a while back
06:12Before that, let me show you something cute
06:15Yeah
06:16It's a rabbit, a magic show and a rabbit
06:20In a typical magic show, magicians put a rabbit out of a hat
06:24But I'm very special
06:25I put a hat out of a rabbit
06:28Thank you so much, thank you
06:33Okay, I'll tell you a story
06:35When I was 15, I went to see the magic show with my friends
06:38Six of us went and I showed up early
06:41So I could wait in line to buy the tickets
06:43I bought one, two, three, four, five, six tickets
06:47A little later, my friend arrived and I went hand out the tickets
06:51But there were one, two, three missing
06:54I was sure I had asked for one, two, three, four, five, six tickets
07:00After seeing this, my friend said, are you sure?
07:04You bought one, two, three, four, five, six tickets
07:07But when you came back, there were one, two, three missing
07:10But you bought one, two, three, four, five, six tickets
07:15No one believed in me
07:17So I went back to the ticket booth and made sure I bought one, two, three, four, five, six tickets
07:23But again, when I came back, there were one, two, three missing
07:27I was sure I had gotten one, two, three, four, five, six tickets
07:32Yeah, so this time one of my friends decided
07:35My other friend would go with me to get the tickets this time
07:38While he kept one, two, three in his hand
07:41In his hand
07:43His genius
07:44So, five of us went to get
07:46One, two
07:48Don't worry, this is the last part
07:50Three, and four, five, and six
07:54Six tickets
07:56But when we came back
07:58Oh my
07:59There were one, two, only three
08:02Only three
08:06But remember, one friend was boarding three tickets just in case, right?
08:10So, we were able to see the performance with
08:14One, two, three, four, five, and six
08:18Thank you
08:21Yeah
08:23And finally
08:24Finally, we were able to see the cutest rabbit coming out of her
08:27Auto hat
08:30Yes, come on, baby
08:31Yes, come on
08:32Come on
08:33Yes
08:38Thank you
08:43Now for a magician who has been wowing audiences with his unique mix of humor, charm, and high impact magic
08:51His modern approach to the ancient art of illusion is as entertaining as it is mind-blowing
08:57Please welcome, the one, and only, Trino
09:09Brittany, please give a round of applause to Jillian, our lovely assistant as well
09:13Thank you
09:15Jillian, where are you from?
09:16I'm from Iowa
09:17From Iowa, what part of Iowa?
09:18Um, the middle kind of by the capital
09:20The middle by the capital
09:21I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan
09:23And one of the weird things about my town, one of the weird buildings and businesses that used to exist there is a flypaper company
09:30You heard of flypaper?
09:31Yes
09:32Flypaper is like the glue strips that hang from the ceiling that would catch flies
09:36Kind of gross, right?
09:37They don't really use them much anymore
09:39Now, do you have anything weird from your hometown?
09:41Um, on my grandpa's farm, he had those
09:44He had flypaper, yeah
09:45Anything else weird in the hometown?
09:46Uh, lots, too much to tell
09:49Too much, too much to tell in Iowa, right?
09:51Well, I was exploring this old factory in Grand Rapids
09:54And I was digging through a box of old sticky flypaper, through a bunch of floppy disks
09:59And I found this really weird matchbox at the bottom of that box
10:03I didn't really understand why it was in there, why it was packaged so carefully, with so much junk put on top of it
10:10I'm gonna let you off though, Jillian, and I will tell you what's in that box in a moment
10:15But first, I need you to select a card
10:18Jillian, any cards you want out of there, you can even look
10:22There you go
10:24Jillian, if you would, go ahead and write your name on the face of that card
10:28So now Jillian's card, this is the only one in the entire world that looks exactly like this
10:36You can go ahead and show the camera, show it to everybody watching
10:40Very good
10:42Jillian, go ahead and set that right on the top of the deck
10:44We're gonna bury it under some more cards right there
10:47Now, Jillian, I did tell you, I would show you what's inside of this box
10:50You have a great VIP front row of what's inside the matchbox from a hundred-year-old flypaper factor
10:58Okay
11:00You seem so excited
11:02Look, Jillian, check this out
11:11Now, I'm not gonna find your card
11:14But this fly will
11:17Watch
11:20I
11:24Right there
11:31Jillian, what was your card?
11:33It was the Jack
11:34The Jack?
11:36I forgot
11:37But you signed your name, so that's okay
11:39Look, Jillian, on the card that you selected, this is Jillian's signed card
11:45Thank you so much, Jillian, that's for you
11:47Keep it going for Jillian, everybody
11:51Coming up
11:53Mysterious Max the Mentalist will mystify your mind
11:57And later
11:59Eric Eaton and Emma risk it all in a game of water soaker Russian roulette
12:04Emma, I'm gonna go with Ford
12:10Magic
12:11The Masters of Illusion has more tricks up its sleeve
12:12The Masters of Illusion has more tricks up its sleeve
12:13The Masters of Illusion has more tricks up its sleeve
12:27Tonight's performer is a master of mentalism
12:31Here to tap into the extraordinary potential of the human mind
12:34Prepare to have your thoughts read and your reality questioned
12:39Please welcome
12:40The Mysterious Max
12:42Max
12:52I like to travel
12:53It's always fun
12:55To learn something more
12:57About another cultures
12:58And as a performer
12:59I'm very lucky
13:00I travel all over the world
13:02And I perform in different countries
13:04And also I have a hobby
13:05I like to collect different items
13:08Sometimes strange items
13:10And once I bought this wooden box in an antique store
13:13And I want to show you
13:16It's a very interesting collection
13:18The part of collection is a stack of old tickets
13:22And
13:26You can see it's pretty nice tickets
13:29I don't know if it's from the 19th century
13:32And you can see there are different destinations
13:34Such as Italy, Australia, United States, China, Germany, Turkey
13:41So a bunch of different destinations
13:47What's your name?
13:48Maya
13:49Maya, nice to meet you
13:50Maya, do you like to travel?
13:52Yeah
13:53Fantastic, so we'll try something with you
13:55Maya, in a moment I will give you this stack of tickets
13:58Hold them flat on your left hand
14:00And with your right hand
14:02Lift up in some random place in the middle
14:05Take a look at the ticket
14:06And make sure you can find the destination
14:08Okay?
14:09Memorize and then close it down
14:13Okay?
14:15Little left hand
14:16Yeah, like this
14:17Lift up in one place
14:18I don't want to see
14:19Yep, lift up
14:21Do you see the destination?
14:22Mm-hmm
14:23Fantastic
14:24Memorize, close it down
14:26Have you been there?
14:27No
14:29But do you know something about this destination in general?
14:32Yeah
14:33Fantastic, lock in your mind
14:34Don't forget
14:35And don't tell anyone until I ask
14:37Okay?
14:38And what's your name?
14:39I'm Aiden
14:40Aiden, nice to meet you
14:41Nice to meet you
14:42Aiden, I noticed you have a nice watch
14:44Can I borrow your watch?
14:45Yes
14:50Very nice
14:51Don't you mind if I will change your time?
14:53No, that's perfectly fine
14:54Yeah?
14:55Okay
14:56So
14:57As you know, with analog watch
14:58You need to move a crown like this
15:01To change your time
15:03And
15:05I want you to create a random time to that
15:07So Aiden, hold your left hand like this
15:09And with your right hand just move a crown backward or forward as many times as you want because I want you to create a totally random time
15:24And if you want you can change direction
15:26Yeah
15:27Yeah
15:28Okay
15:29Push a crown
15:31Before we click
15:32Yeah
15:33Now it's locked
15:35And
15:36What's your name?
15:37Gabina
15:38Gabina
15:39I want you to name a male name
15:42But something random
15:44And
15:45Maybe shirt not too long
15:47Okay
15:48Say out loud
15:49Tony
15:50Tony
15:52And we never met before
15:54Correct?
15:55And before the show no one asked you to name this specific name
15:58So it's totally random and it's free choice, correct?
16:01Correct
16:02So now we have three random choices
16:05We have random destination
16:06We have random time
16:07And
16:08Random name
16:09We'll start from destination
16:11Wow
16:12Look into my eyes
16:13And
16:14Think about country
16:15Okay?
16:16Don't tell me
16:17Just keep thinking
16:18Over and over again
16:23English is my third language so sometimes it takes time
16:26It's like 3G connection
16:29Sorry getting some
16:36Don't change your focus
16:39I know that you start thinking about country
16:42But for a moment you change your focus
16:44So
16:45Keep focusing on the country, okay?
16:47I know that you change your focus a couple times and also I get strong impression that for you it's much easier to think by images not by words
16:54So we have pretty good imagination
16:55Are you thinking also about city in this country?
16:56Yes
16:57That's why you change your focus at city and country in your mind
16:58Can you focus just on the city?
16:59Can you focus just on the city?
17:00I'm city
17:01And maybe you know some famous landowners
17:02Yes
17:03I know that you change your focus a couple times and also I get strong impression that for you it's much easier to think by images not by words
17:11So we have pretty good imagination
17:13Are you thinking also about city in this country?
17:18Yes
17:19That's why you change your focus at city and country in your mind
17:23Can you focus just on the city?
17:24Can you focus just on the city?
17:25Can you focus just on the city?
17:26Can you focus just on the city?
17:27Can you focus just on the city?
17:28Can you focus just on the city?
17:29And maybe you know some famous landmark or tourist attraction?
17:30So this might help just think, don't tell me anything
17:43It's pretty nice place
17:45Where a lot of tourist attractions, yeah?
17:48Pretty much cool place
17:49I'm sorry
17:50I'm sorry
17:51Maya, for the first time, tell to everybody, what was the country?
18:01It was France.
18:02It was France.
18:05And what was the city in your mind?
18:06Paris.
18:07Paris, France?
18:08Mm-hmm.
18:09That's what I got.
18:10You can see.
18:12And it's interesting because you could lift up anywhere and it will be a different destination,
18:25for example, like the United States or Germany, there are so many options.
18:31But you randomly picked France and Paris.
18:36And it's very interesting because when I got this collection, it was just a nice collection
18:41of tickets, but it was also an envelope.
18:46The beautiful postcard, and you can see it's only one postcard inside, nothing there.
18:54And it's a postcard from exact same destination.
18:57Can you imagine?
18:58Wow, that's...
18:59You randomly picked exact same destination.
19:00You can see it's Paris, France.
19:02And you made another...
19:10Yes.
19:11You randomly created time.
19:14I was looking, and it looks like it's 11.30.
19:24But Aiden, if you will make another move, it will be a totally different time.
19:31But you created a specific time, even without two canines.
19:3611.30.
19:40And it's very interesting because 11.30, actually, it's actual time in Paris, France.
19:49Yeah, you can check it on your phones.
19:52It's true.
19:55But wait a second.
19:56I have another item.
20:00This pocket watch.
20:03Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
20:05This very old pocket watch.
20:08But this watch has one specific time.
20:14Wow.
20:15No way.
20:16Can you imagine?
20:17You randomly created exact same time.
20:21But I know, I know, you're still thinking, what about Tony?
20:26And it's the most impressive part because kids have chosen any name in the world.
20:34You could say, for example, European name, Middle Eastern, Asian name, but you randomly picked Tony.
20:42And the previous owner of this collection was a gentleman by name Tony.
20:55Can you imagine?
20:56Three random choices and everything matched.
20:59Wow.
21:00Oh, we have trust issues over here, yeah?
21:03No, you can trust me.
21:06By your applause, I noticed you want to prove it.
21:12Can you prove me?
21:13Yes.
21:14Yeah.
21:15And I can prove it.
21:16I know that his name was Tony.
21:19Because his name is engraved on the back of the watch.
21:23I know it's difficult to see, so you will be an eyes of audience.
21:26Can you read out loud?
21:27What does it say?
21:28To Tony.
21:29It says, to Tony.
21:33Hold the finger like this.
21:39Hold the finger.
21:41And you can feel that it's really engraved.
21:43It is, yeah.
21:44So, three random choices and everything matched.
21:48Oh, wow.
21:49Thanks so much.
21:54Coming up, you'll go nuts for the magic of Alexandra Duvier.
21:59And later, Joel Myers will defy physics.
22:03Masters of Illusion has wonders in school.
22:10Prepare to be enchanted by a magician who has traveled all the way from France to share her unique blend of magic and artistry.
22:26She is a trailblazer in the world of magic known for her creative illusions and captivating style.
22:33Let's please give a warm welcome to the extraordinary Alexandra Duvier.
22:37Thank you so very much.
22:47What a so warm welcome.
22:48Thank you for being here.
22:49I'm so happy, you know, to be here because I wanted to share with you.
22:52You know, I see some very young people there and that's great because I have to say that I love social media.
22:59And I know I'm not the only one, of course.
23:01But what I love about it is that, you know, in a few minutes, hours, this show is going to end.
23:07And you're going to leave us.
23:09And I will cry backstage.
23:11But thanks to the social media, we will be still connected.
23:16Isn't that lit and great?
23:18I love it.
23:19So please connect on my social networks.
23:21So yeah, you know, and I have found also that you see the emojis, you know, happy face and so on.
23:26And I have realized, believe me or not, that there are two types of audiences.
23:31For sure, there is the happy face, go smile type like you, sweetie.
23:37Always, see, always smiling and laughing.
23:40This is great.
23:41And the more analytical type mind, arm crossing.
23:44What is she going to do?
23:45Stop talking, do your trick.
23:46It's you, sir.
23:48Oh, I'm so mean.
23:49I'm so French.
23:50I'm sorry.
23:51But you know what?
23:53We all face problems in our lives.
23:56That's for sure.
23:57But you know what?
23:58I believe that there are no such things as problems.
24:01There are only solutions.
24:03So let me tell you what I do when I have a problem.
24:08I just try, so I make a knot in my mind, you see.
24:12And it's tight.
24:15And it's a problem.
24:18So I try to bring some magic to that.
24:23And I just move it, move it.
24:28Your turn.
24:29Move it, move it.
24:31I love your spontaneous reactions.
24:34That's amazing.
24:35So this way, I see the problem from another perspective, isn't it?
24:39And you know what I do?
24:40I just almost transform the problem into a donut.
24:45Why not?
24:46Why not?
24:47This is my best play on words.
24:50French.
24:52You were alone, but that was nice.
24:54But I believe, sir, that now you are a fast learner and that you know how to deal with problems,
25:03don't you?
25:04What's your name, sir?
25:05Vinnie.
25:06Vinnie.
25:07Vinnie.
25:08Can you please join me on stage under the applause of the audience?
25:11Can you please join me here?
25:13Thank you so much, Vinnie.
25:14It's going to be very easy.
25:16Face the audience.
25:17Smile, maybe.
25:18No smile.
25:19That's okay.
25:20Okay.
25:21We have a problem.
25:23Can you please grab it?
25:24Now you know what to do.
25:25You have to bring some magic.
25:27Just do that.
25:28Snap.
25:29Yeah, stop.
25:31This is amazing how you do that.
25:33Take away your hand.
25:34You are such a fast learner.
25:37I didn't believe it.
25:39Maybe you do that.
25:41Just move it.
25:42Move it.
25:43No more.
25:46Maybe you can go further.
25:47Maybe you can transform it.
25:49Take it away.
25:50And transform it into a donut.
25:55You are amazing, sir.
25:58Yeah.
25:59But I know why I choose you.
26:01Because you have done the most beautiful and wow effort.
26:03Because you have done the happy face.
26:05Effect, sir.
26:06You are awesome.
26:08A big hand for Vinnie.
26:20Coming up.
26:21Nothing will prepare you for the mesmerizing manipulations of RJ Pantone.
26:25Then, Joel Myers will defy physics.
26:29And later, Eric Eaton and Emma risk it all in a game of water soaker Russian roulette.
26:35Emma, I'm gonna go with four.
26:42Magic.

36:04What's your name, dear?
36:05Emma.
36:05Emma, nice to meet you, Emma.
36:06Nice to meet you.
36:07Emma, you like to party?
36:09Yeah.
36:09Yeah, you like summer parties?
36:10Yes.
36:11Love that, love that.
36:12Emma, one of my favorite themes growing up were summer parties.
36:14We'd go to the pool, we'd play with little water soakers, and we'd shoot each other.
36:18However, we weren't allowed to play this in the house.
36:20So what we did, me and my brother, is a fun little prank.
36:23We would always have five water soakers, and we would fill one up with water.
36:27Then we'd play a little game where we would take turns shooting them at each other,
36:30and then one of us would get blasted with water, also getting the whole house wet, thus getting in trouble.
36:36Tonight we're gonna do that.
36:37Emma, what I want you to do is you're gonna face that way.
36:40Emma, one of these soakers has water in it.
36:43You don't know which one that is.
36:45I don't know which one that is.
36:47There's a tank up here.
36:48We went ahead and taped over the tank so that way you or I can't tell.
36:51Emma, I'm just gonna mix these up one at a time.
36:54And Emma, whenever I feel ready, I'm gonna have you turn around, all right?
36:59Emma, you may turn around.
37:01Emma, now I'm gonna face this way, so I have no idea.
37:04You may go back there, and you can mix them up however you please.
37:09You can move right to left, left to right, whichever one you want.
37:13Just make it whatever random order.
37:15Let me know once you've done that, dear.
37:16Awesome, Emma.
37:21Emma, you're gonna step to the edge of the table.
37:23We're gonna face each other.
37:26Welcome to the OK Corral.
37:29Emma, we're now gonna turn and turn.
37:33I want you to take two steps.
37:36One, two, and turn.
37:40Emma, I have guns.
37:41One, two, three, four, and five.
37:45Emma, which water soaker do you think is empty?
37:49Five?
37:50Five.
37:51We're going straight to the end.
37:53All right, Emma.
37:53We're gonna take water soaker five.
37:57Up.
37:59You want to change your mind?
38:01Good choice.
38:03Empty.
38:14Now, Emma, I'm gonna pick whichever one I think is empty.
38:17Since you made me go all the way over there, I'm gonna go with one.
38:20You may grab water soaker one.
38:27Take your step back, take aim, and you may shoot.
38:33You may step that down here.
38:40All right, Emma, that leaves us with two, three, or four.
38:43Which one do you think is empty?
38:45I'm gonna go with number three.
38:49Three.
38:49So we had one, two, three.
38:52This one, correct?
38:53Yes.
38:53Want to change your mind?
38:55Too late.
38:56Too late.
38:57Would you like to change?
38:59You're satisfied?
39:00Let's do it.
39:01One, two, three.
39:03One, two, three.
39:10Emma, that leaves us with two and four.
39:13My turn.
39:15Emma, I'm gonna go with four.
39:18Two.
39:21You sure?
39:22I'm positive.
39:24Magic.
39:30Round of applause.
39:36Emma, we've already tested those four.
39:38They are empty.
39:39That leaves us with one water soaker.
39:44Emma, it is your turn.
39:46Which soaker would you like?
39:51That one?
39:52Two.
39:54We did this trick correctly.
39:55This one should be.
39:58You ready, Emma?
39:59Yes.
40:00No, I'm not gonna.
40:00I'm just kidding.
40:04Round of applause for Emma.
40:08All right, you take one shot.
40:15Okay.
40:25Another evening of magic has come and gone, but the sense of wonder remains.
40:29I'm Dean Cade, and we'll be back to bring you more incredible illusions right here on Masters of Illusion.
40:35Now let's go.
40:48You may.
40:48Great.
40:49Good round of applause.
40:50Let's go.
40:54Let's go.
40:56Yeah.
40:56Let's go.
40:57Let's go.
