00:00Another shift in the batting order for the West Indies with Hakeem August opening the
00:04innings alongside John Campbell. It lasted all but 4.4 overs.
00:12They were 32 for 1 and then 32 for 2. Kessie Carthy has to go before he can show his potential
00:18to build an innings. Campbell was still finding his feet with 26 of 24 balls, 55 for 3. His
00:26wicket made room for Shea Hope, 3-4s on his way to 16. He has become so proficient at giving the West
00:33Indies a fighting chance when wickets fell around him. However, what happens when he falls? Gone for
00:3916 with the score on 77. Shefane Rutherford is a delight to watch when he gets going. He got 19
00:48runs and could not carry on. Ruston Chase watched Justin Graves fall to Sadner and that option to
00:54bat first did not look so good at this point. Matthew Ford follows him for a duck, 95 for 7.
01:04Shamar Springer played his natural game and it got him 12 runs. The writing had already been on the
01:09wall by then. Chase removed it for 38 of the bowling of Matt Henry who took 4 wickets.
01:17Carripea was not out on 22, too little too late for a patient knock. That was supposed to be the
01:23role of the more experienced batsman. West Indies dismissed for 161 in 36.2 overs.
01:32In reply, the Windies had the hosts on the ropes early.
01:38Devon Conway gone cheaply. And right behind him, Ratchin Mavindra, 27 for 2.
01:44Make that 32 for 3. And the Windies were on a roll. Ford gets his second.
01:54Leave it to Mark Chapman to take control of this match. He played well for his 64.
01:59Area there all along the ground and in the gap.
02:03The Windies removed Tom Latham for 10.
02:05Oh no! How have you done that Latham?
02:08It made way for Michael Bricewell. Chapman and Bricewell all but doused the flame of a West
02:15Indies revival in this match. Bricewell made 40. They both got out just before the end.
02:21But with only 29.2 overs gone in the match, 6 runs to get and 4 wickets remaining,
02:27it was difficult to see the hosts throwing this match away.
02:30New Zealand, worn by 4 wickets with 117 balls to spare.
02:35They complete a clean sweep of the ODI series.
