It was a rough second day for the West Indies as India took a handsome 286-run lead, with three batters getting centuries.

Resuming on 121 for 2, India closed on 448 for 5, with captain Roston Chase picking up two wickets.

00:00India resumed day two of the opening test against the West Indies in Ahmedabad on 121-2, still trailing by 41 runs.
00:11Overnight batsman KL Rahul, who began on 53, edged one from Jaden Seals through the slips and got away with it.
00:20Captain Shubman Gill and Rahul kept piling on the runs for the home team.
00:25Their partnership was worth 98 for the third wicket.
