T&T cricketer Kieron Pollard took a catch, claimed two wickets and made 34 not out in a losing cause in his 700th T20 match today as MI New York lost to San Francisco Unicorns by 47 runs.  It was a fifth straight win for the Unicorns, while New York have suffered four losses in five games.

00:00Emma in New York put San Francisco Unicorns into bat in the MLC T20 match in Dallas on Monday.

00:09Captain Matthew Short was the main contributor with a bat for the Unicorns.

00:13He made 91 of 43 balls.

00:15Fellow Australian Jake Fraser McGurk was the next best batter with 64 of 26 deliveries.

00:22Fraser McGurk hit 1-4 and 7 sixes.

00:25Playing in a 700's T20 match, Karen Pollard first got rid of Short.

00:36He then had Fraser McGurk caught.

00:39Holly ended with 2 for 31 from three overs.

00:44He also took a catch to send Romario Shepard packing for two.

00:47It could have been three wickets for Pollard, but Trent Bolt dropped the catch.

01:00When MI New York responded, openers Quinton De Kock and Monank Patel put on 119 in 9.3 overs.

01:08De Kock was the top scorer with 70, while Patel made 60.

01:15Captain Nicholas Pooran struggled and fell for 15 of 17 balls.

01:25MI New York had it tough with Romario Shepard taking two wickets.

01:30But Pollard had some fun out in the middle with 34 not out of 16 balls.

01:35He hit three fours and two sixes.

01:47Xavier Bartlett also took two scalps, with the Unicorns large and in charge.

01:53In the end, MI New York were restricted to 199 for six and lost by 47 runs.

01:59The San Francisco Unicorns have five wins from as many matches, while Pooran and company have one win and four losses.
