00:08Since October 10th, Peru has reported the highest daily homicide rate in 70 years, under the current government, going to report from data analysis experts.
00:16In total, 213 homicides were recorded in the country, equivalent to an average of 5.33 per day, based on the death information system.
00:25Despite extending the state of emergency in Lima and Callao, Heri's measures have failed to contain insecurity.
00:31It's estimated that the homicides are being committed with an increasingly higher level of violence.
