Ukraine to begin peace plan talks with US in Switzerland on Sunday

Ukraine's Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council announced on Saturday that Ukraine will begin talks with the US in Switzerland, on Sunday, on the proposed 28-point peace plan and its terms.

00:00Ukraine will begin talks with the U.S. on the 28-point peace plan suggested jointly by Russia
00:07and the U.S. in Switzerland in the coming days, according to Ukrainian officials.
00:13Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday he had appointed a delegation to discuss
00:20with Washington the plan to halt the war. Also on Saturday, Zelensky and his wife attended a
00:26ceremony in Kyiv to commemorate the great famine that Soviet leader Joseph Stalin imposed on Ukraine,
00:34which led to millions of deaths in the early 1930s. Meanwhile, Russia launched 104 drones in
00:42overnight attacks on Ukraine, as well as one ballistic missile. According to Ukraine's
00:47armed forces, 89 of the drones were either shot down or jammed. However, six locations were hit
00:54by attacks. In Odessa, at least two people were injured by the attacks, according to local officials.
