00:00In Venezuela's Indian region, specifically among the mountains of Boca No, in the state of Trujillo,
00:09a family projects, plans, tradition, innovation, and love for the land.
00:13Our correspondent Andrea Romero brings us the history.
00:17The story of Boca is the dream of Victor Montilla, who returns to his homeland to fuse his family's
00:25ancestral wisdom with new production methods, creating a high-quality coffee that aims to
00:31set an example for other producers.
00:36It's been my dream to blend the artisanal approach of my grandparents with new methods,
00:41and the education a coffee producer must have to keep evolving and stand out, following the
00:47dream of the family and the generations who built this, which is to highlight the product
00:52we have, what we grow and plant in the countryside and the village.
00:57Also, getting my hands on the soil, stepping away for a time, and then fully returning,
01:02has put me in a position to inspire others to follow this example.
01:09What began as a small business became a life project.
01:15Boca is a life project.
01:16It's name joining Bocono and Caracas, it's the family's seal, acting as a bridge between
01:22Venezuela's garden, where coffee is grown, and the capital, where it is distributed and
01:27sold.
01:33Boca began 10 years ago as nothing more than a cleaning products company, and we started
01:38bringing Bocono products.
01:40Then a client told me, Victor, give it more design, make more of it.
01:44That's what we started to do.
01:46We changed packaging, decided to roast and select the coffee here, and that gave us a
01:51new perspective.
01:54From selecting the beans to shared daily routines in Bocono, every step is essential to guarantee
02:00the quality that defines this Venezuelan coffee.
02:03The work day starts at 5 a.m. with a cup of coffee my father brews every morning.
02:13He gets the beans ready, waits for the workers.
02:16My mother-in-law waits for the workers to return from the fields at 3 p.m.
02:20The workers get ready, share lunch, tell stories, decide which crops to cut or which lot to start
02:26on.
02:27That's field work.
02:28Then here in Caracas happens a very different stage.
02:32Selecting, roasting, choosing what will taste the coffee, what batch goes for sale, that's
02:37what sets us apart.
02:38Their commitment to excellence is based on technical testing like PH and BRICS degrees, always hand
02:49in hand with respecting family heritage by recovering varieties over 60 years old.
02:54This effort ends with the expertise of the barista, whose job is to translate all the fieldwork
03:00into that final cup, en la taza final.
03:03We carry the responsibility of translating 6 or 7 years of work by a coffee grower so that
03:13the cup tastes right.
03:16There is a lot behind that, and I want customers to see it, and in that way I value the producer's
03:22effort.
03:27This initiative gives the country a product made with collective work and love for the
03:32land, a project that honors and uplifts every Venezuelan coffee grower.
03:36We, the producers, the coffee and the final product, must work as a team, unite for quality
03:45and to earn a reputation.
03:46That what is made of Venezuela is better, what is made with love, not with effort, but with
03:55a dream in Venezuela.
04:00With that bold Venezuelan spirit and family unity, we can go further, not only here but
04:06trascender fronteras.
04:08Boca Cafe proudly offers up to seven varieties.
04:13Boca Cafe is a great problem with alla channel.
