GTA 6 'deserves to be $100' says original Saints Row designer

00:17eye-watering $100 price tag on GTA 6. While fans are obviously concerned about the speculated price,

00:24there are also worries that this could set a precedent for pricing on future games.

00:29However, Original Saints Row design director Chris Stockman implied in an interview with

00:33Esports Insider that there aren't any developers that could reasonably use GTA 6 as a justification

00:40for their own $100 games. They're the only ones that can get away with it, said Stockman.

00:45I don't think it's a rising tide that floats all boats. I think there'll be a tremendous amount of

00:51backlash if everyone switch to $100. Not all games are created equal. I think GTA is the only one that

00:58can get away with it, and I hope they do. I really hope it's $100. I think it deserves to be $100.
