00:00Fishing in Crimson Desert is easy, once you know where to start.
00:06You're not given a rod straight away. Instead, you need to visit Annabella
00:09at the Henan Saddlery, who will give you a fishing rod in exchange for one thing,
00:13a tench. She'll send you north across the bridge until you reach a pool,
00:17which is where you'll find the tench you need for the quest.
00:19But if you just need to know how to fish in general, here's what you need to do.
00:23Hold F2 and find your fishing rod on your equipment wheel to select it,
00:26then press Q and use your mouse to aim your cast.
00:28Release these keys and you'll cast your line into the pool.
00:31Now comes the waiting. You can reel in your line gently by holding the left mouse button,
00:35which might intrigue a fish enough to bite. When you do eventually get a chomp,
00:39you'll need to hook it with the right mouse button before starting the classic fishing minigame.
00:43Fortunately, the next part is pretty straightforward,
00:45and all you have to do is pull in the opposite direction in which the fish is trying to swim.
00:49Just remember to not reel in while you do this. When the fish stops splashing about,
00:53you can reel in, but it'll be pretty quick to go back to splashing,
00:56so you might need to repeat yourself a few times.
00:58As soon as the fish is close enough to you,
01:00you'll just pluck it out of the water and pop it in your pockets. It's as simple as that,
01:04and now you've got a new hobby to master when you're looking to take a break from exploring.
