'Drake and Josh' star Drake Bell is accusing his former Nickelodeon dialect coach of sexual abuse, the latest in a series of allegations of toxic workplace and abuse at the network on sets run by Nick hitmaker Dan Schneider.

00:09For the first time, the former child actor publicly shared his story of alleged abuse at the hands of Brian Peck,

00:15his former dialogue coach, an investigation discoveries four-part docuseries Quiet on Set,

00:20The Dark Side of Kids TV, which features allegations of abuse, sexism, racism,

00:26and inappropriate behavior involving underage stars and crew members on Nickelodeon series overseen by Dan Schneider.

00:33Peck, who had appeared on Nickelodeon screens as Pickle Boy, was accused of molesting a child actor in 2004.

00:39Only now do we learn that Bell was at the center of that criminal case and conviction.

00:43Bell graphically recounts in the docuseries how he was allegedly groomed and sexually abused at the hands of Peck at just 15 years old.

00:51Bell met Peck while on the set of The Amanda Show, and according to People,

00:55says he initially became close to the coach because they had a lot of the same interests.

00:59Peck would often invite Bell to his house for acting lessons.

01:03Bell describes waking up on Peck's couch one morning with the dialogue coach sexually assaulting me.

01:08I froze and was in complete shock. I had no idea what to do or how to react.

01:13He noted,

01:13It just got worse and worse and worse and worse, and I was just trapped, and I had no way out.

01:19It was only when the mother of Bell's then-girlfriend asked why Peck wouldn't stop calling him that Bell sought therapy,

01:25but he was still not ready to share his secret.

01:27The whole thing was mental manipulation.

01:29Eventually, in 2003, Bell talked to the police after finally telling his mother.

01:34In a statement, Nickelodeon said,

01:35Now that Drake Bell has disclosed his identity as the plaintiff in the 2004 case,

01:40we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured,

01:43and we commend and support the strength required to come forward.
