00:00Hello and welcome to this South Australian at Jane's Weather Update.
00:03For Friday, we've got heatwave conditions in the north here.
00:06There is low pressure that is producing areas of rain, but it's not in the east yet.
00:11Instead, we're getting the high cloud that is out ahead of that.
00:14So let's have a little day by day what to expect.
00:16Here we have Friday. The wet weather is in the west during the day today.
00:20We've got Cyclone Fina up to the north.
00:22That is going to feed our weather systems over the next week, potentially too.
00:26The leftovers of that, depending where that goes.
00:28So watch out for that from time to time.
00:30So here's our first bit of low pressure that comes in.
00:33It moves to the east during the day on Saturday.
00:35And then by Sunday, it is all gone.
00:37Here's our next low pressure system.
00:39This one doesn't really make a connection up into the north.
00:42So there's light at falls with that as it comes through.
00:45So that's during the day on Monday.
00:47Having a look at Tuesday, here we've got a ridge of high pressure that is coming in.
00:51But there's another system down to the south here.
00:53So we've got the remains of that low pressure that's moving through there
00:56and the light rain associated with that.
00:58We've got this one that is on its way up.
01:00So that arrives on Wednesday.
01:02That's when conditions chill off with another cold outbreak that's moving to our south.
01:07So there's Wednesday and then during the day on Thursday.
01:10High pressure is on its way in for Friday.
01:12But we've got low pressure once again ready to come in through here.
01:16Again, connected to that tropical moisture.
01:18So Friday into next Saturday is when that comes through.
01:20So essentially, every couple of days, there's a new burst of moisture that comes through,
01:25new low pressure that comes through.
01:27But there is one cold one that comes in towards the end of the week.
01:30OK, what might that add up to?
01:31Now, if we get more of a connection to that tropical moisture, then yes, the falls are going
01:35to be heavier.
01:36But generally, 10 to 15, 15 to 25 is what we're looking like as this moves through.
01:40Maybe only 5 to 10 in through here.
01:42So in Adelaide, let's have a look.
01:44We are fairly dry today.
01:46The dew point down on 5.
01:47That's how much moisture is in the air.
01:49Watch that significantly jump up as we move through the day on Saturday.
01:52Temperatures here are on the mild side.
01:55And we've got rain that is moving through on Saturday as that low pressure system comes in.
01:59So Saturday is the wet day.
02:01Conditions jump up in terms of temperature on Sunday up to 30.
02:04Lots of sunshine, but it is feeling a little bit humid.
02:08That continues into Monday, where it's 30.
02:10There's hardly any wet weather with that next system that comes in.
02:13Tuesday, back down to 25.
02:15And then here's the cool air on Wednesday, Thursday and into Friday.
02:18And the showers that do come with that one.
02:20So we're 30s at the beginning of the week.
02:23And then we're in the high teens again by Wednesday and Thursday.
02:26As always, head to Farm Online Weather for the latest.
