00:00I've got to ask you about Shadour.
00:01Do you think he's a starting quarterback in the National Football League?
00:06I really like what Shadour did last year.
00:08And I'm not trying to be, as a wannabe humorist on Sunday afternoon,
00:12I'll say this in the spirit of humor,
00:14but the quarterbacks, we are victims or beneficiaries of the people around us.
00:18The Browns are picking sixth in the draft
00:20because we did not have guys around us at the quarterback position.
00:25We, at times, during a lot of the last few years,
00:29didn't think we had a quarterback.
00:31When Shadour came in with a really struggling offensive line last year
00:36and a really lack of separation of our receivers,
00:40it was incredibly impressive to me how Shadour Sanders,
00:45quarterback to Cleveland Browns, and made plays.
00:47He absolutely deserves to be an NFL quarterback.
00:51And I'd like to see him with better talent around him,
00:55a better offensive line,
00:56and I think he's going to get an opportunity this year in Cleveland to showcase.
01:01What do you make of the hire of Todd Munkin coming in and tutoring him?
01:06Do you like the hire?
01:08So, I do.
01:09And one other thing on to Shadour is, you know,
01:13a lot of people say, oh, the personality,
01:14I'm not sure of his personality, too much of this.
01:17The players in the locker room love him.
01:19And all that really matters is what your 52 other teammates think about you.
01:23And if those guys are galvanized by him, as I am,
01:27and they like him, then that's what matters.
01:30And, look, being an NFL quarterback isn't normal.
01:34Okay?
01:35So, to be able to manage a NFL locker room,
01:38you have to have your own bravado and confidence.
01:41And I love the stones that he has in belief in himself
01:45and the way he galvanizes the locker room.
01:48And actually, too, and to the synergy between him and Coach Munkin,
01:53I actually kind of, and I'm just purely speculating on this
01:56because I'm just getting healthy myself
01:59and getting back into the swing of football and stuff.
02:01But, you know, there's rumors that Ozzie and the Baltimore Ravens
02:06and Coach Munkin wanted to draft Shador last year.
02:10So, he did not exactly, you know, he ended up in Cleveland.
02:14But if Coach Munkin is a Shador fan and wanted to draft him last year,
02:19and he played, Shador played very well at the end of the season,
02:23I could see, you know, you want your new incoming head coach
02:27to be a guy who wanted you as the quarterback.
02:29So, I kind of think that that's a positive
02:33from those two's initial relationship.
