00:00We were debating during the break, I'll leave even more about Shadur and Sanders.
00:05What a great offense the Cleveland Browns have.
00:08Eight points.
00:10Wow.
00:11I mean, eight points, bad sacks, no deep throws.
00:14I will give Shadur credit for this, all right, because let's be fair to the kid.
00:18His post-game press conference was great because there were a couple play calls that were very questionable.
00:24Now, to be fair, they've run the Wildcats successfully in the last couple games,
00:27scored a couple touchdowns on it, you may remember.
00:30Last week, like the second play of the game, as a matter of fact, they ran the Wildcats successfully,
00:34and they've got a young stud rookie running back who leads all rookies in rushing yards,
00:38so they can run the football.
00:40But they had a weird play yesterday.
00:42It was like a direct snap to the fullback.
00:44He fumbled it, turned the ball over inside their own 35.
00:47Yeah, quickly turned it to a touchdown.
00:48San Fran turned it to points, right?
00:50So, and I'm watching the game going, that was stupid.
00:53But they asked Shadur about it after the game, and this was a chance for Shadur to be immature.
00:59This was a chance for Shadur to be somewhat arrogant and cocky and to throw his head coach under the bus.
01:05So let's also be positive.
01:07Here's Shadur Sanders when asked about that play call and what he thought about it,
01:12and the other reporters trying to have him criticize Kevin Stefanski.
01:16Listen to this.
01:16I mean, first, that's a rude question to ask if I think, you know, it was a great call by my coach, you know.
01:30Do you like the aggression?
01:32Do you like the call?
01:32I like being out there playing.
01:34So, so, so, so whatever that comes with, it comes with, you know, like, you know, we, we're not going to be here and, and, and every point figure out no coach or do anything like that.
01:45You know, that's extremely disrespectful, and that's not even in my place.
01:48I love that.
01:49All right.
01:49So I just showed you, I'm, I'm always honest with you about Shadur and everyone else we talk about here.
01:54They're setting him up to take a shot at Stefanski, figuring he's an immature kid.
01:59He's done it before.
02:00We'll get him to say something and we'll create a riff there.
02:02And now I've got a huge story that everyone's talking about, right?
02:05Yeah.
02:05Yeah.
02:05And he didn't bite on it.
02:07That's maturity right there.
02:08That's the stuff people want to see out of Shadur, because there are some people that don't even watch him play that just don't like him based on his personality.
02:16Yeah.
02:16And we've discussed that, right?
02:17And look, he's owned some of that.
02:20And I think you could be the biggest fan of his you want.
02:22I think it's a, that's a fair criticism of him in the past.
02:26That's a great answer.
02:27That's a mature veteran answer.
02:29I am not throwing my coach under the bus.
02:31I just want to be on the field.
02:33So if you tell me we're on the field and it's fourth and two,
02:35I'm happy because I got a shot to convert.
02:38That's the right answer.
02:39Yeah.
02:39Now, I think it was a stupid play because it turned out to be stupid and they fumble it and San Francisco gets it.
02:46Look, the Niners were beatable yesterday.
02:48Brock Purdy, you know, to be fair, did not play great yesterday.
02:52Played just good enough to win.
02:54But, of course, the Browns also helped out.
02:56They didn't score any points.
02:57Only eight in the game.
02:58Had some bad turnovers.
03:00San Francisco took advantage of those turnovers.
03:02And the Cleveland Browns defense, again, is the best defense in all football.
03:07Period.
03:08Stop.
03:08I don't think there's another defense that's close.
03:10But the reality is this.
03:12If you're the Cleveland Browns and Shadour should start the rest of the way,
03:17I'm imagining he will start the rest of the way.
03:20You know, barring something totally incompetent or an injury, of course,
03:23because Dylan Gabriel did come in for one or two snaps yesterday when Shadour got banged up for a minute.
03:28But the reality is this.
03:31You have to draft another quarterback, right?
03:34If this is what we're going to get out of Shadour over the final month,
03:38he might be a guy that you recognize.
03:41He's a project.
03:42He's got some, you know, God-given talent.
03:44But he's legitimately a project.
03:46Good guy to have as a second-string quarterback behind a legitimate veteran.
03:50But I don't think Shadour Sanders is a Brown next year.
