00:04yeah when do you start i you know uh when it comes to wagering on them super bowl wise i think

00:10they're i don't know what they are shine plus a couple thousand i mean like when when do you feel

00:15like it's uh it's a good bet uh i i don't um and look like that's i know patriots fans aren't

00:22gonna like to hear or don't want to hear that and what i said on you better you bet yesterday

00:26and it kind of like i i would encourage patriots fans and i'm not one so if you want to tell me

00:31to f off like i totally understand i i would kind of like enjoy the ride with this team here i i don't

00:37think it's going to end with an afc championship or like a super bowl appearance or like winning

00:41the super bowl um and i'm not being a hater when i when i say that just that i think when you get

00:46into january and like like drake may is awesome and you guys know this i've been saying since last year

00:52this guy's going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league so i'm i'm very pro drake may i said

00:57the day they hired mike vrabel they were going to be the second best team in the division immediately

01:01um i didn't know that they were going to end up obviously winning the afc east which it looks like

01:05they're going to do but i i don't see the ultimate upside of this team you're winning three games in

01:10january to get to the super bowl and you know i think i i hope patriots fans will will hear this and

01:15like not get mad i kind of think what's going to happen to them in january to you guys in january

01:20i think this is going to be the inverse of 2018 where you know patrick mahomes second year as a

01:25starter wins mvp host championship sunday and lose to tom brady and the patriots and that amazing afc

01:31championship game in overtime i think we're going to get the inverse of that where kansas city will

01:36go into gillette may is the hot shot second year quarterback and lose to the old guy mahomes

01:41and i think kansas city like i would bet kansas city against new england in january and that's it's not

01:46a commentary on new england's future the patriots are going to be really like it's done they are

01:52going to be really good for a long time there is no argument against it other than if drake may gets

01:58hurt they are going to be good the future is extraordinarily bright i think they're way ahead

02:03of schedule right now i don't see them as a super bowl team but that doesn't mean that like you can't

02:08really enjoy what's happening right now that is my objective honest opinion on the new england patriots

02:13well some good games this weekend uh let's see where you stand that didn't make anybody mad

02:18everyone's like i'm just shaking my head in silence courtney's upset i'd like to ask him a question

02:23i love that afc championship game though that is the best non-super bowl game i've ever seen

02:28great so i disagree with that but it was a great game so then nick so for you then the all your then

02:35the only team that can do it is kansas city well i think if we get to and we're like the patriots are

02:42going to win the division um and they may they may be the one seed in the afc playoffs i guess you'll

02:47let me hit you guys with a couple and we're going to find out patriots are going to play the bills and

02:50they play the ravens like when they come out of the bye week and they should win it's cincy and the

02:54giants yeah but all you're doing is circling the the the the parking lot now i'm gonna i'm gonna get

03:11it's like anything it's like when you're listening to a good rap song you know within the first 10

03:21feel that i haven't even gotten to the hook yet do you feel the same way about the colts and the

03:24denver broncos yes okay so then other than kansas city that in your opinion no one could beat kansas

03:31city coming out of dfc well like so here's what i'd say about like so the colts like really good

03:36team i think the quarterback has obvious limitations and it doesn't mean that he hasn't been great this

03:40year just who's taking the colts like to beat if they play you know they play ball by the chiefs in

03:45january i i would take the patriots probably i trust drake may more denver's like bo nicks is terrible

03:50they're not winning three games in january uh i'm just i'm always going to keep coming back to kansas city

03:56and maybe they don't even get there i think they will they should beat denver this weekend like who's

04:01who's beating them in january who's beating them um i do like the patriots wiki better than the

04:07other two teams you mentioned they're way better than denver even if the broncos have a better

04:12regular season record and a better roster i think that's true denver's roster two through 53 is better

04:18than the patriots but the patriots have drake may and he's a hundred times better than bo nicks

04:22and the colts roster is definitely better than the patriots roster but drake may is way better than

04:27daniel jones so i think the patriots are the best of those teams just like i'm gonna keep coming back

04:32to kansas city here can they beat the chiefs in january i'm not saying it can't happen i'll pay to

04:38see it though you bring up the old guys versus new guys when you're talking about 2018 an old guy you

04:44were tweeting about this week aaron rogers you think that if the steelers don't beat the bangles

04:48and if he doesn't have a good game this weekend then he it's the end of the end not the end of the

04:53beginning of the end you all you almost stuck the landing there i know it was like an awesome line

04:58that rap song was bad it started really well um yeah like the bangles are maybe the worst defense

05:05in like the history of the league like one of the worst defenses we've ever seen um aaron rogers

05:11on sunday night and i'm a huge like i love aaron rogers and i'm not going to try and convince

05:15anyone to like him if they don't like him a lot of people dislike him i find him very entertaining

05:19uh so i'm a rogers fan i want him to do well i bet the steelers to make the playoffs

05:23he looked old last week and i think you guys will appreciate this as as even though brady didn't end

05:29his career with the patriots where that last season it kind of like gradually happened where

05:35brady doesn't want to get hit and then they lose that that the wild card game to dallas and

05:39like the end for peyton manning was kind of like a great he wins the super bowl right but you can tell

05:43he doesn't have it anymore it felt to me like rogers like fell off the cliff last sunday night

05:48against the chargers he looked old he doesn't want to get hit he was terrible throwing the ball

05:53so i think this is kind of like if the steelers are going to do anything this year and rogers is

05:58going to do anything you better show up and show out against one of the worst defenses in the league

06:02and patriots fans like think about what the jets offense looked like last night they put 39 on the

06:08bangles so aaron rogers better be able to do something uh i think he will if i had to bet the game

06:12i'd bet the steelers is he married to an actual living breathing woman i think you we talked about

06:20this you guys think the answer to that is no um i'm not like in those streets till to know i i would

06:25hope he's not lying but i don't know yeah he's not no idea uh bucks at bill he's just so he's just

06:32trolling is the thought yeah yeah his teammates have even come out like i've been quoted like we've

06:36never even met her i think he's trolling all of us there's not even a single photo of him at like

06:40a dinner not nothing even blurry and he said his favorite players meant i teo did he say that or

06:46no he didn't i said that curtis this is a good line that doesn't happen too often that was a good

07:04baker mayfield's healthy no the game you watched last week no no right so he said

07:10last week and i think i mentioned it with you guys on the show here i was leaning towards tampa

07:15like baker was saying that he needed the bye week because the oblique injury prior to the bye like

07:20had sapped his ability to scramble he's obviously like awesome at that right extending plays it's

07:25one of the reasons why he was one of the mvp favorites earlier in the year so i'm thinking okay

07:29like we're gonna get like shake and bake he's gonna be running around he's doing the gritty thing um

07:33and then literally zero scrambles last week against the patriots

07:37so i think this is pretty problematic for tampa i i don't even think buffalo is very good like i

07:43think the run defense stinks the offense has limitations where they have no one that can

07:47get down the field and win and like allen's good enough that they'll make the play i mean look they

07:51could beat the patriots when they play obviously allen's really good i just question buffalo ceiling

07:56if you made me bet this game i think i'd actually lay the bills only because i think baker mayfield's

08:02kind of relegated to like statue right now in the pocket and that's not good for anybody i would

08:07bet buffalo if i had to bet the game uh nick when you look at this i think for me the best game

08:12of the week is going to be the seahawks headed to the rams i think the rams are a very good football

08:18team they're a team that could win it all this year where do you stand on that game so i bet the

08:24rams on monday um this opened rams minus two and a half now we're sitting at three i think three

08:30is kind of the perfect number in the game i think rams by three is a really likely outcome in terms of

08:34betting and like my handicap of the game like we could talk about in all seriousness like how much

08:40fun it is to have a sean mcveigh offense going up against the mike mcdonald defense like these are

08:45the two right now the two like whiz kid front runners in the nfl on each side of the ball coaching

08:51right mcveigh and mike mcdonald there's a lot of fun stuff going on here i'll actually um dumb it down

08:56really really really really low we'll go lowest common denominator low hanging fruit here

09:01um i'll pay to see sam darnold win a huge game on the road at matthew stafford that's why i bet the

09:06rams i have two and a half at three probably no bet for me i guess the rams um i think rams by three

09:11is a really likely outcome i did bet the rams okay i'm assuming based on what you said earlier

09:18chiefs you're taking the chiefs broncos taking the chiefs in that game i don't i don't know if the

09:24chiefs are going to cover in the game so they're three and a half or four and just just so everyone

09:29like to put it in perspective you know denver is eight and two casey's five and four the chiefs

09:33are the super bowl favorite at five and four they're at denver and wiki you know this right

09:38denver because of the altitude and the crowd's great but because of the altitude denver has like

09:43maybe the best home field advantage in the league and it's less like the crowd's the loudest but the

09:47altitude like makes a difference so if you flip home field here right so you take away give denver two

09:52points for home field let's say kansas city's got a nice home field the intimation here is that the

09:57chiefs if the kansas city was hosting this game kansas city would be close to a seven point

10:02favorite and like do does everybody agree with that like would you want to take the points with

10:06eight and two denver and i'm not necessarily sure i would because uh bo nicks is really regressed

10:13he was terrible against the raiders and i don't have a ton of faith in bo nicks now

10:18is the broncos defense even without patrick sertan good enough to keep this within three

10:22it might be um i would be stunned however if the broncos won this game i'll be using kansas city as

10:30a money line parlay piece i i am very confident the chiefs will at least win this game on sunday do

10:35you have any like feel on the over under because to me it just screams an under game knowing the

10:40broncos defense and the way in which like i just i think it'll be close but i'm curious your thoughts

10:45yeah i think um let's see like where we're at in the total it's currently 45 on bet mg okay

10:50i so andy reed off the bye is kind of like a pretty well established thing um whether it's

10:57with the eagles or with the chiefs he's a badass right his teams come out of the bye every year

11:02with new offensive wrinkles and like generally play really really well my sense is he spent this

11:09bye week looking at a broncos defense minus sertan they're gonna have their left tackle josh simmons

11:14back like and this is gonna be one of the first times all year that everyone's healthy on offense

11:18pacheco is probably not gonna play but like the receivers are all gonna be there i i think kansas

11:23city is gonna score in this game shyman it's just can like denver score to keep up no opinion for me

11:28on the total i guess maybe like a slight lean towards the under but i i could see it going over

11:32no bet for me uh last one for me the nfl memo yesterday on their attempt to limit certain kinds

11:43of prop bets for instance those where that can be determinable by one person in one play

11:52like a quarterback's first pass attempt or whatever you like that on their part and is it real or is it

12:00just uh trying to throw something at the uh sharks that that that uh are concerned about sports wagering

12:08in general in sports i mean probably probably the latter um i don't make a lot of those bets so like

12:14it doesn't really like impact me at all i certainly understand the thought process behind it um look as

12:19like i i i bet props in the nfl based on it's not fantasy football but it's like a fantasy football way

12:27of thinking like this receiver in the slot against this slot cornerback with the way they defend do they

12:32run zone do they run man what's the success rate like that's how i bet prop so honestly greg like

12:38that kind of stuff doesn't even like enter my consciousness really to think about so it doesn't

12:42bother me at all i'm sure there are a lot of bettors who bet way more money than i do and like

12:47have a million places to bet it to try and get as much down as props as possible who will be upset by

12:52this uh i i am not one of those people i can't really give you like a super charged up answer to
