04:38out of whack here so baltimore's three i think one of the reasons for that is and like i i know people
04:43don't really like you know we get in the weeds with injuries and stuff but the patriots injury report
04:47on defense is like really bad right now i'm just gonna bring it up here um like carlton davis
04:52and marcus jones both have yet to practice this week howard landry hasn't practiced spillane hasn't
04:56practiced like that's very much not good going up against the ravens offense that could potentially
05:01be on the ascent now for me i patriots at full strength no milton williams obviously still on ir
05:07if you put the patriots on a neutral field with baltimore for me and they're both healthy i think
05:13new england should be favored in the game but let's say you think baltimore at this stage right now
05:17with all the injuries for new england you think baltimore slightly better right whatever you would
05:22say you give baltimore two two points for home field a half point for you know being a night game
05:26in prime time i i can like i guess i kind of see where you could get to three for me the number's a
05:31little out of whack here i just have to decide if i want to bet the patriots or not like i'm not
05:35betting baltimore not at these numbers it's just like will the patriots get any of these guys back
05:40on defense i'd like to know that before i made the bet yeah but i do but i do think new england's
05:45better than baltimore and i'm looking to bet the patriots i don't know if i will but uh it's
05:49patriots or pass for me on sunday night okay when it comes to the niners colts game there's a lot on
05:54the line for the for the niners now where would you bet there yeah i think the line has gotten a
05:59little out of whack in that game as well this went up as high as san francisco minus six and a half at
06:03indianapolis with philip river is going to make a second start for the colts i think you know i'm gonna i
06:07am going to dismiss san francisco in a second tier as a super bowl contender and with seattle's win last
06:13night over the rams you know all of a sudden it's like the niners could be 13 and 4 and have
06:17home field advantage and though it's not crazy to think that could happen that the niners could be
06:22the one seed in the nfc playoffs but think about how we talk about the packers now right with michael
06:27parsons being out people are just crossing green bay off the list because parsons isn't playing
06:31anymore the niners have lost nick bosa and fred warner for the season already this year that's a two
06:36hall of fame defensive players their defense is bad so even if they get the one seed i would never
06:43bet san francisco to like make the super bowl win the super bowl their defense isn't good enough
06:47and i think because the defense is bad even with philip rivers not looking great last week against
06:51seattle i don't know how you lay these points with san francisco knowing how bad that defense is
06:55against a good offensive coach in shane steichen if i had to bet the game i would actually bet
06:59indianapolis plus the points is there any chance that the jaguars can beat denver because here as
07:07patriots fans we're looking for the broncos to stub their toe they could um i like the over in
07:13the game and i just want to see what it is right now um if it's gone up at all uh we are at 46 and
07:18a half for me that's still a good bet on the over um we had a professional sports better on you better
07:23you bet yesterday a friend of mine named rob bozzola who does a ton of media also who i think
07:27is really sharp he loves the over in this game and and i like it as well i think both offenses have
07:32avenues to success and the main reason why in wiggy this will dovetail in with the question you asked
07:37you know bo nicks has looked pretty good recently for denver and i've been a bo nicks detractor and
07:43i bet the broncos to make the playoffs this year it's like i i'm not anti denver i'm anti denver as
07:48far as like winning the super bowl this year because i don't think bo nicks is great but you
07:52have to say like he was sensational last week against green bay he was awesome when they beat
07:57the kansas city chiefs he's played pretty well but on the flip side here very quietly because they
08:02play in jacksonville trevor lawrence is playing the best football of his career yes he is he is
08:07absolutely in fuego right now and made a throw last week it was not to former patriot jacoby myers
08:14but he's rolling out to his left he like flicks his hips and launches a ball like 50 yards down the
08:20field on a rope to parker washington and you watch a throw like that and you think like how many
08:25quarterbacks in the league can make this throw and that's what you want from trevor lawrence like
08:29what he did at clemson throw the damn ball down the field they're doing that now and if trevor
08:33lawrence is that on sunday the jaguars can absolutely win the game uh my preferred bet would
08:39be on the over would i be shocked if the jaguars won absolutely not but if it if it's going to
08:44happen trevor lawrence like has to play one of those games to make it happen because the broncos
08:48are better than the jaguars nick you mentioned that you don't believe you don't consider the
08:53broncos like legitimate or have it you don't think the broncos win the super bowl is there a team
08:58right now with decent odds that you would wager on to win the super bowl at this point because i
09:03know you were big chiefs before the season so i'm kind of curious where you are now for people like

09:45nfc because if they win the nfc east which they will and the rams as the rams are the best team
09:51it doesn't mean that they're going to win and like the rams lost last night and the rams are still the
09:56super bowl favorite which tells you what the betting market thinks of them um the the rams will likely
10:00have to go to philadelphia right if they play in the playoffs i think those are the two best teams in
10:05the nfc and if philly hosts the rams you feel way better about that than philly going to los angeles
10:10so for me i would look at the eagles at 11 to 1 who do you like out of the uh afc i know you said
10:17that you you know you're not sure about denver it's the million dollar question man right um i think what
10:24it comes down to and wiggy can i ask you to say i'm gonna reframe the question and i'm gonna ask it

10:36the bills are the best team i don't think buffalo's the best team in the afc but josh allen's the best
10:44quarterback and there's a chance and hear me out and you guys know i love drake may it's not an

10:55drake may beats josh allen we're like okay like drake may's next right now he's the guy but going into
11:01the playoffs like maybe the ravens don't make it right now they're on the outside looking in
11:05mahomes is out this is like and i'll get a little like football like history a little bit here
11:11can i do that do you guys care if i do that for like a minute or no okay love it so in the 1970s
11:17the oakland raiders could never beat either the dolphins who went back to back in 72 and 73 and
11:24undefeated in 72 and then uh the pittsburgh steelers won back to back in 74 and 75 and the raiders can
11:30never get over the hump and in 76 they played pittsburgh in the afc championship game but this
11:36was a very wounded pittsburgh team without franco harris or rocky blyer like the two engines of that
11:42offense and yes they had lynn swan and john soulworth but this is the 70s right the fulcrum of an offense
11:46was the run game right and then the raiders were finally able to slay the dragon and then kill the
11:52vikings in super bowl 11 we can fast forward right to the 1990s where the bugaboo for brett farve and the
11:58green bay packers was they could never ever ever beat troy aikman and the dallas cowboys and when
12:03the packers finally got to the super bowl in super bowl 30 and obviously beat you know bill belichick
12:09and bill parcells excuse me belichick the defensive coordinator and the new england patriots cary
12:13collins and the carolina panthers beat the cowboys in the divisional round and green bay didn't have to
12:18go through dallas another one that involves new england is the three times the steelers went to the super
12:23bowl in this century oh five that's the champ bailey pick six game right in denver oh wait
12:28bernard pollard tears brady's acl in week one they don't have to see new england 2010 sean green bart
12:35scott can't wait with the jets beating you know 14 and 2 mvp tom brady so this could be that for
12:41buffalo where they don't have to beat kansas city now they may not have to see lamar jackson now
12:47and i think even if we acknowledge guys that the bills are not the best team
12:51they have the best quarterback going into the tournament and i think the question that we all
12:55have to ask ourselves is what matters more like that the patriots might be better overall or that
13:01you trust josh allen or that the broncos are better overall but the bills have josh allen and
13:05you have bo nicks i don't know what i want to do yet wiggy is like the long answer to your short
13:10question and i'll throw it back at you what do you want to do in the afc i i agree that josh allen
13:16is the because you don't have mahomes and you you you know obviously even with lamar jackson who
13:23hasn't proven it josh allen is the scariest when it comes to the afc teams and the guy that can take
13:32them there and beat anybody anywhere buffalo at denver afc championship game who are you picking
13:37to win i'd pick buffalo you would buffalo at new england divisional round who are you picking to
13:42win um when uh i'm biased so i would pick the patriots i would pick the patriots because okay
13:47i would do that because i think that here's why i would do do it this way because i think the
13:51patriots offense is better than the denver offense and the defense might not be as good but the defense
13:57is still good enough to slow josh allen down but you are they well i yeah i'm they did in the first
14:03half granted they got to play 60 minutes i give you that they didn't do it in the second half but
14:07you're good enough to score with buffalo if it comes to a shoot i know we didn't see that and i
14:13know that um your boy bo nix had a great game but prior to that in four weeks he threw one touchdown
14:20so prior to those four weeks uh before they played the uh last week when he threw four touchdowns in
14:26that game curtis go ahead before costos first of all congratulations very well deserved uh thank you
14:31buddy and the other is you have been as bullish as anybody on mahomes do you think there is a chance
14:36that he returns with a different coach well if if he does it means that reed retired right i don't
14:43think they're gonna fire him right would he retire um it's a really strong question i i'd have to
14:48like anything i say is like a really speculative guess i have i don't know him at all i have no
14:54inside information what i'll say this curtis it's a non-zero chance like meaning that it could happen
14:59for sure um would i be surprised like absolutely not if that occurred i would not be surprised nick
