00:00Good morning, Nick. What's going on, guys? Great to be on with you. And Courtney,
00:04a hearty congratulations to you and your husband. Absolutely love to see it.
00:08Thank you. You'll have to give me all the tips of how to become a parent.
00:11I'll say, and I don't know if any of the parents on the show agree with this,
00:15I feel like being, and my daughter's very young, I feel like being a good dad, or a good mom,
00:22I'll just speak for men, being a good dad, I think, is really easy. I think being a good
00:28husband to your wife when you have a kid, I think that's difficult. I think that's the much
00:34harder part, is managing your marriage with the kid. I think if you're a good person and you give
00:40a crap, which I'm sure you do, I actually think that part's been pretty easy. I think the other
00:44stuff is difficult. Wow. That's insightful. Thank you. You're welcome. I mean, you have a
00:50one-year-old, correct? One and a half next month. One and a half. And I'm sure you're able to find
00:57time for date night and all those other things. Yeah, I would say we, I would say at least once
01:03a week we try and go out with just the two of us. Love it. All right. There we go. I mean,
01:07you have to, otherwise it's a total disaster, you know? Yeah. Yeah. I don't want to, I think when I
01:12first found out I was pregnant, my biggest fear immediately was like, I don't want to lose the
01:16great relationship Santa and I have. So that's been a focus of ours. That's good. Like to think about
01:21that. Right. Don't lose yourself to being like, oh, I'm just the mother now. Right. Yeah. And also like,
01:27yes. Listen, listen, I may be short, but I'm not ugly. I love it. Oh, really? That's generally
01:35not something that one says about them. You are not, Nick. It's a really good point. You leave
01:39that to others to determine how attractive you are. Well, Greg, do you think I'm ugly? No, no. I mean,
01:45I think you're a pretty good looking dude. Courtney, do you think I'm ugly? No, I do not. So there you go.
01:49I'm a massive narcissist. Yeah. That's true. Your face is what it is, man. That's true.
01:56Now, listen, speaking of ugly, the last week, New England Patriots, five turnovers. How are you,
02:04if you are, how would you wager this game on Sunday? I, I love New England this week. I'm
02:10actually contemplating and we haven't. So on you better, you bet. We have a show entry in one of
02:14the big Vegas survivor contest that we split. And we're between New England and Denver for our
02:21two choices this week. I think we might take the Patriots. I love New England this week. Now,
02:27obviously, Greg, you alluded to it, like putting the ball on the ground a million times, not great
02:30last week against Pittsburgh. And they probably win the game if that does not happen. So I think
02:35that you'll get probably a more, hold on to the ball a little bit more this week against Carolina
02:41than they did against Pittsburgh. And there's two matchups that I'll be watching for in this game.
02:45Number one will be Milton Williams and Christian Barmore on the Patriots defensive front against
02:51the Panthers offensive line. That's down. It's best player, period. Their guard, Robert Hunt,
02:56and their center, Austin Corbett. Both are on IR. The Falcons couldn't take advantage of it last week.
03:02Williams and Barmore have both been studs. And I think that's going to be a problem for Bryce Young.
03:06And I'm curious how this is going to go this week. And none of us will know the answer until the
03:10game starts with Ramondre and Antonio Gibson both fumbling last week. And I know Travion
03:15Henderson is at his issues in pass protection, right, to start his rookie year. Yeah. I don't
03:20know how this isn't like the big Travion Henderson game this week. The Panthers are allowing six yards
03:25per carry. I think this could set up as a monster Travion game. I hope it's going to be a monster
03:29Travion game. And I think we see Kyle Williams start to emerge a little bit this weekend as well.
03:34I think the Patriots win by seven or more. Give me New England this weekend against Carolina.
03:38Okay. That's a good one. Their run defense stanks. It's like 32nd in the league or whatever.
03:43You got to be able to run the football. I got a game. Stanks. Nick, I got a game. I think
03:47there's so many great games on this weekend, but Jacksonville versus San Fran and Frisco.
03:54I just love that setup. There's a lot of great games this week. Now let me give you one that's
03:58terrible. You're talking about the toilet bowl? No, no, no. I want to know if Jacksonville's
04:02for real. Well, so here's what we'll find out, Wiggy. We're going to find out if Jacksonville's
04:08defense is for real. I do think that the Jaguars offense will round into form as the season moves
04:12on. Like Liam Cohen, their head coach, the former Bucs offensive coordinator, his playbook is like
04:17infamously huge. Like Travis Hunter doesn't know where he's lining up. Brian Thomas has the yips.
04:23I think all of these things will course correct over the balance of a season. So I think the offense
04:28will be okay. We'll find out if this defense is legit for Jacksonville against Brock Purdy. And we
04:34expect Purdy to play. We think Ricky Pearsall is going to play. We'll see about Juwan Jennings.
04:38I think it's a fascinating game on Sunday in the Bay Area. If the Niners are going to have a clean
04:43bill of health and they're going to have their guys available here on offense, I'm going to like
04:47San Francisco in the game. I have not made a bet yet on the game, but Wiggy, I think the offense will
04:52be okay for Jacksonville. I think the defense is going to be the unit to watch this weekend.
04:56What about Ravens minus two and a half?
04:58Just real quick also, can you weigh in? I asked everybody earlier and everybody was
05:05in agreement, but who a win matters most to in that game?
05:10Oh, it's Kansas City. Okay. Yeah. Like by a lot. Yep.
05:14Who's did anyone say Baltimore? No, no. Well, I'm like the reason why, and I'm sure someone
05:19it's like the AFC North's terrible. So with the other three teams in the division with Baltimore,
05:24like the Steelers, the Browns and the Bengals are all underdogs this week. So the Ravens could
05:28lose to the Chiefs and be one and three, and they're going to be favored to win the division.
05:32I got one and three, just something to consider. I think it matters way more for the Chiefs.
05:37This is not going to be one of my favorite bets of the week, but it's the biggest game,
05:40so I'll bet it. I'll take Kansas City plus the points. The worst unit in this game is actually
05:47the Ravens defense, not the Chiefs offense. Xavier Worthy is going to be back. Now the Chiefs can't
05:52run it the way the Lions can and did on Monday night against the Ravens. But I think what you're
05:56going to see is Andy Reid really take advantage of these slow and bad Baltimore linebackers
06:02who are playing brutal to start the year. The former Patriot Kyle Van Nooy is not going
06:06to play in this game. Matabuke, their star defensive tackles out again. I don't love the
06:10play, but make me take it. I'll take the Chiefs plus the points and Kansas City to win.
06:16Nick, when it comes to games overseas, you bring up the Steelers. With that Vikings-Steelers
06:20game, do you like to stay away from those types of games because it could be anyone's?
06:23What an insulting question. He doesn't stay away from any game.
06:27No, I love it. I love it. 9.30 a.m. Hell yeah. Get the juices flowing early. I subjectively
06:37like the Steelers. And I say subjectively because I think the point spread is totally fine.
06:42Minnesota favored. Minnesota favored by less than three. I know Brian Flores put Aaron Rodgers
06:48in a blender last year. So they played in London last year, the Jets and Vikings. And that game
06:52went so poorly for the Jets that it got Robert Sala fired. Now, that's the Nathaniel Hackett,
06:58let's throw 50 times a game Jets offense. I think that Arthur Smith will be better prepared here.
07:03And I think your audience is actually great to consider the point that I'm about to make here
07:07because while everyone's saying the Patriots gave the game away last week against the Steelers,
07:13and to a degree it's true, the Steelers also forced turnovers and they also sacked Drake May
07:19five times in the game. And Carson Wentz is still the Vikings quarterback here.
07:23Make me bet the game, I'll take the Steelers to win outright.
07:27Nick, oh, here's another one for you. And maybe this one's a little bit more sexy than my Jaguars
07:3349ers. Is the Colts at the Rams and the Rams playing the way they played last week against the
07:40Eagles? I guess it's one of those, are the Colts for real? Are the Rams one of those teams that can
07:46contend in the NFC? Where do you stand on that game?
07:49I liked the Colts early in the week and I bet plus three and a half because I think the point
07:55spread is going to go down to three. So I would say for people that like the Colts, maybe look to
07:59bet it sooner rather than later. If you like the Rams, you may be able to bet a minus three as we
08:05approach kickoff. The more I think about the game, the more I'm schematically concerned for
08:09Indianapolis here, where I think this could be the game where like Jared Verse and the Rams like
08:14edge rush, I think can really, really impact Daniel Jones. And I don't know what kind of
08:20answers the Colts secondary is going to have for Devontae Adams and Puka Nakua. And just one
08:24matchup to consider for props for everybody. Kenny Moore is Indianapolis' slot cornerback. He's one of
08:29the best slot cornerbacks in the league. He's out for this game. Indianapolis has no one that can
08:35cover Puka Nakua. Just something to think about. So I did bet the Colts. I'm kind of
08:39shying away from that position as the week goes on. Did you bet the Ryder Cup, Nick?
08:44I bet Europe. Yes. Really? See, Greg, this was my fear. I told Greg this morning, I didn't,
08:50I couldn't bet it because I was, I want to, of course, I want to support the United States,
08:54but I was, I was scared of double heartbreak in that the U.S. would lose and I would lose money.
08:59You know, there's, you know, I'd like to quote the late, great Bobby the Brain Heenan,
09:05who at WrestleMania 7, he managed demolition and they were facing Tenryu and Katao, two
09:11Japanese wrestlers in a tag match, Mr. Fuji Japanese. And Mr. Fuji in the match hits Tenryu
09:17with his cane. And Bobby the Brain Heenan says in full deadpan, Mr. Fuji turning against
09:23his country for money. I like that. So do I. All right. Give me Europe. Really? All
09:30right. Well, all right, Bobby the Brain. Yeah. Like if it was like, who do I want? Who do
09:34I want to win a war? The United States or Europe? I'll pick the United States. Who do I think
09:38is going to win this golf match? I'll take Europe against this bunch of choke artists.
09:41Yes. It seems kind of turncoat-ish. It's great. Call me Benedict Costos. I'll wear it.
09:47So the European golfers are much better than the American golfers.
09:50I would say that there were issues with Keegan Bradley, like the players that he picked
09:54and should he pick himself. And I don't trust guys. I think Morikawa had a nice shot literally
10:00like 20 minutes ago. Morikawa came in in really bad form. Xander Shoffley came in in really
10:05bad form. I don't know if Justin Thomas has got the goods anymore. So for me, the reason
10:10why the United States was favored is because the United States is hosting the event. That's
10:14why. If this were in Europe, Europe would be a bigger favorite than the United States was.
10:17And I think that Europe's talent kind of makes up for the home course advantage. So that's
10:22why I bet Europe. And we'll see how it shakes out.
10:24All right, Nick. As always, a pleasure to talk to you. I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
10:29Me too. And wishing everybody minimal sweats when he bets the absolute very best of luck.
10:33Okay.
