00:00Hello and welcome to this South Australian Janesweather update for Friday.
00:04We have got a low pressure system that is moving through.
00:07It has lost its connection to tropical moisture,
00:10so it doesn't bring a heap unless you are directly under a thunderstorm as it comes in.
00:14There is lots of sunshine, just this little bit of wet weather activity as it moves through.
00:18So let's watch that track through today.
00:20So here we have Friday.
00:22The low by the end of the day is in over here,
00:24so we've got it moving across the southeastern parts of South Australia.
00:27Here is our tropical moisture to the north.
00:29It is staying there, not coming down to the rest of it, not connecting with this one anymore.
00:34So I've got this as it moves through.
00:36By Saturday, we don't have a lot left.
00:38We've got this up in the north that is moving over to Queensland and New South Wales,
00:41but here we're just in an onshore airflow and it's not producing a lot.
00:45Into Sunday, here's the next burst.
00:47A cold front passes by, so we'll get a burst of wet weather coming in with that
00:50and the colder air as well.
00:52Enter Monday, we're still seeing that.
00:54Now, the next high pressure system is back in through here.
00:56That's by the end of Monday, so we're on its cool side.
01:00It's sitting here on Tuesday, here on Wednesday, here on Thursday is when it starts to move in
01:05and across on Friday as the next wet weather system kicks off over to our west.
01:09As long as that high is back over to our west, then we're on the cool side of it.
01:14So let's see what all of that might add up to.
01:16Not a lot if you're in the southeast.
01:17We know we've got our system moving through today, a break on Saturday,
01:21and then Sunday into Monday as that comes through, but it's not going to add up to a lot.
01:24This one here moves across the north that doesn't connect with the south,
01:28and then here is the start of the next weather system that might come in next weekend.
01:32OK, so for Adelaide, what to expect?
01:34Today is the nicest day in the outlook.
01:36We're in the mid to high 20s.
01:38There is lots of sunshine.
01:40However, there is the risk of showers and thunderstorms.
01:43Let's expand this.
01:43So it's during the afternoon that we have the risk of that shower and storm activity move through.
01:49Otherwise, heaps of sunshine today, and it is the warm one.
01:52So cooler conditions as we go into Saturday, but then particularly into Sunday.
01:55So tomorrow looks dry, Saturday into Sunday.
01:58We've got that next burst coming through.
02:00So we've got showers increasing as the day goes on, 17, 16, that's Sunday into Monday.
02:05Next week, it may continue into Tuesday, a fair bit of cloud,
02:08but it really doesn't add up to very much.
02:10And then there's just this little tiny bit as long as that high is back over to our west
02:14and our temperatures stay on the cool side
02:17until it finally jumps out to our east at the end of next week.
02:21As always, head to Farmer Line Weather for the latest.
