00:14effectively had a mini bye since they haven't played since thursday yep so they got a bunch

00:18of days off and they'll be as healthy as they've been all year having played you know without a

00:22buy just yet their buy i guess that's coming up but here's the reality for kansas city kansas

00:28city's a loss away from being 500 with seven games to go and when you start doing the math

00:34and you start looking at their opponents you know this they're not running the table their schedule

00:39is too hard to run the table absolutely all right there's two guaranteed wins on their schedule the

00:45rest of the way only two all right yeah the the titans and the raiders yes the tennessee titans

00:51are not beating kansas city the vegas raiders are not beating kansas city so i'm going to spot you

00:56those two so that gets them to seven that gets you seven wins correct all right you've got the

01:01two games against denver left let's say i'm going to be kind and give you a split in those games okay

01:06now you've got eight right you lose tonight and you win on christmas that's fine so uh that that gets

01:12you to eight eight okay that'd be eight and five with uh with four games to go all right we're going

01:17out of order here of course right right but here's the reality you're still chasing the jaguars because

01:22they beat you straight up yep all right so you're effectively a game behind jacksonville you don't

01:26have a tiebreaker against them you don't have a tiebreaker against the chargers you don't have

01:31uh you know you there's not enough games to catch the denver broncos in my opinion no uh they are going

01:37to come in ahead of you i believe the chargers are going to come in ahead of you so best case scenario

01:42as you look at the west standings right there for the kansas city chiefs is to be one of the two final

01:48wild card spots because you're not going to catch the charges in my opinion right there will be one

01:53and i know you're only one loss behind them i can see it all right and you're not going to catch the

01:57broncos you're two losses behind them you also lose every tiebreaker against the jacksonville jaguars

02:03right so then you have to start looking at pittsburgh and baltimore i believe that baltimore is going to

02:08run the table and that they're going to win the division well you're behind pittsburgh right now as well

02:13you are so the reality is that with a team that's got a tough schedule and they have a tough schedule

02:18i think indianapolis is coming up right after this game against the denver broncos on sunday afternoon

02:24where are the wins coming from and yes i agree are they good enough to win those games yeah of course

02:30they are right but the reality of this team is this team is not very good this year in one score games

02:37they're not that was their their bread and butter a year ago like every win last year one score game

02:43the chiefs found a way to win it the only way the kansas city chiefs can solidify themselves as a

02:52postseason team and i'm looking into this game in particular would be if they get the help they've

02:58always gotten from the officials now look at their wins this year like look at that detroit game for

03:05example no penalties called against the kansas city chiefs in that game all right you look at the games

03:11that they have won they also got the fugazi replay from new york yep on the golf touchdown

03:16yeah and i'm looking at saying to myself the only game in which the referees did not go out of their

03:23way to favor the chiefs i believe was the jacksonville game where there were penalties called against kansas

03:28city and jacksonville very late in that game you remember uh took took took the dub so it's going to

03:34be very interesting the denver broncos have been on the wrong end of a lot of officiating they're one of

03:39the most penalized teams in the nfl and obviously it's one of those things that sean payton said

03:44they got to clean up so it it's it sets it sets itself up for denver gets called up for a lot of

03:52penalties anyway the nfl you know full well has a vested interest in kansas city not having an end to

04:00their dynasty and not being on the outside looking in this is a huge divisional game denver's won what

04:08seven games in a row they've got the bye week next week so if you screw the denver broncos we're

04:14not going to hear about it because they don't play for another two weeks and i'm telling you right now

04:19the nfl is aware that the chief season is now in jeopardy they are in jeopardy of not making the playoffs

04:29let alone getting in as a wild card versus winning the division and i'm a smart man i've been around the

04:37block a few times i will guarantee you right now that there is going to be a ridiculous discrepancy
