00:00On the KC side, we'll talk about Ken Walker, obviously.
00:06But just with the McDuffie deal,
00:08I can't sit here and say the Rams paid a ton
00:12and then not like it for Kansas City.
00:15I think they did very well for themselves, Joe, in this trade, right?
00:20They probably were given an offer for a guy they were hesitant to pay
00:24at the price, and they couldn't pass it up.
00:28But it doesn't mean that Kansas City is closer
00:31to winning a Super Bowl this year.
00:33And I think that people need to understand that.
00:38The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of question marks.
00:43The defense last year underwhelmed us.
00:47I have not seen any news yet that tells me
00:50it's going to be markedly better, right?
00:53The offense gets Travis Kelsey back.
00:56Again, we're going to give that the time it deserves.
00:58We're going to give Walker the time it deserves.
01:01But Travis Kelsey is not Travis Kelsey.
01:05Rasheed Rice is not reliable.
01:07We don't know if Rasheed Rice is going to be suspended again.
01:11And Patrick Mahomes is off a torn ACL
01:13and could be out for the beginning of the season.
01:16Do I think the Chiefs are in a Super Bowl within the next three years?
01:20It's a good bet.
01:22But I don't think that means the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl next year, Joe.
01:26No, I mean, I think it's a great point, Kevin.
01:29I'm with you that we talked about offensive philosophy.
01:32You know, you have the Ferraris in the garage,
01:35and you failed to utilize them.
01:37They had speed on the outside throughout the year last year
01:41and didn't take advantage of that.
01:42With Eric Biennemi now back, calling plays, does that change?
01:46Only time will tell.
01:47I'll just say this about the signing of Kenneth Walker.
01:51It is an immediate upgrade to an inconsistent rushing attack
01:55with Kareem Hunt and Isaiah Pacheco.
01:57So I like the signing of Walker.
01:59It'll help them.
