Der neue Kia EV4 bringt frischen Wind in die Elektromobilität! Das erste Kia E-Auto ohne SUV- oder Crossover-Optik kommt als Limousine mit 4,7 Metern Länge und als 4,4 Meter langes Schrägheck. Beide Varianten setzen auf die E-GMP-Plattform mit 400 Volt, verfügen über 58,3 oder 81,4 kWh Akkukapazität und einen 150-kW-Motor (204 PS).

Besonders auffällig ist das moderne Design mit Star-Map-Lichtsignatur und flächenbündigen Türgriffen. Im Innenraum gibt es zwei 12,3-Zoll-Displays, ein zusätzliches 5,3-Zoll-Display für die Klimasteuerung und physische Kippschalter. Die digitale Hands-on-Erkennung, ein digitaler Autoschlüssel und Streaming-Apps wie YouTube und Netflix sorgen für Komfort. Die Kofferraumgröße beträgt 490 Liter in der Limousine und 435 Liter im Schrägheckmodell.

Die Produktion startet im März 2024 für die Limousine, das Schrägheck folgt später im Jahr. Die Preise sind noch unbekannt. Alle weiteren Infos im Video!

00:15The Kia EV4 is the manufacturer's first fully electric model, which will be launched neither

00:27important technical specifications are also known. The vehicle will be offered in two body styles,
00:33as a sedan with a flat rear window and as a hatchback. With a length of 4.70 meters,
00:41the sedan is 30 centimeters longer than the hatchback, which is 4.40 meters long.
00:48Visually, the front is characterized by the so-called Starmap light signature,
00:52which is implemented here as a vertical line with suggested arrow ends.
00:57In addition, there are striking shapes with contrasts between black body parts and painted surfaces.

02:32the selected recuperation level is retained even after the vehicle is restarted.
02:38Another highlight of the Kia EV4 is the digital car key,
02:42which can be used to unlock the vehicle using a smartphone or smartwatch.
02:45The interior is dominated by a display landscape reminiscent of the EV3 and EV6.
02:53Two screens, each with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, display the instruments and the infotainment system.

03:46What is known is that the hatchback model offers a capacity of 435 liters,
03:51while the sedan has slightly more space at 490 liters.
03:56Surprisingly, the hatchback model offers less volume than the Kia EV3, whose trunk has a capacity of 460 liters.
04:04The Kia EV4 is produced in two plants.
04:09The sedan is built in the South Korean Autoland Gwang, the group's first dedicated electric car plant.
04:16The hatchback model, however, will be built in Europe, more specifically at the Kia plant in Zylina, Slovakia.
04:23Production of the sedan will begin in mid-March, while the hatchback model will not be manufactured
04:28until the second half of the year. Production is also planned in North America.
