00:00My biggest concern when the ruling was made was that people would see that as a justification for abusing trans people.
00:11I can only speak for myself. I do feel like I have seen that because before the court ruling, I would get on the trains, you know, to come to London and do work.
00:21And I never felt unsafe. You know, I didn't worry about going to the toilet, which obviously on a train is unisex. Anyone can use it.
00:30And then it suddenly hit me out of the court ruling when I was on my way here and somebody had clocked who I was.
00:39And she said something to me about getting out of the toilet and, you know, I don't deserve to be here and a load of abuse.
00:49And I think it did scare me. And I feel like that was my worry was when the court ruling came into place.
00:57People would say, well, because it's a law, we can say what we want. Whereas before it wasn't a law.
01:05People could have their opinions, but you wouldn't be able to necessarily be you wouldn't necessarily be able to hide behind facts.
01:13I got trolled before, you know, I was on TV and I've been trolled since.
01:17But the amount and the magnitude of abuse I got since the court ruling was proof to me that people felt like it was justified to say whatever they wanted to me.
01:28And then going into the toilets at train stations or anywhere and then suddenly being abused or crack called or whatever you want to call it.
01:40That's when it hit me and I thought, God, I'm scared now.
01:43And I haven't been to the gym since then because of the fact that I'm scared.
