Chequeda De Boulet and Parth Mehta were crowned mixed doubles champions when the TT International 2025 Badminton tournament came to a close at the National Racquet Centre, Tacarigua, over the weekend.

00:03as former Trinidad and Tobago badminton head coach Pat Metha
00:07secured two top three finishes at the conclusion of the TNT International Badminton Open
00:11held over the weekend at the National Racket Centre.
00:14Metha, who previously coached TNT during a two-month stint for the Karibaco Junior Championships,
00:20teamed up with Shakida Dibouleh to capture the mixed doubles title.
00:24He also made it to the men's single semifinals,
00:27finishing third after losing to Swiss player Nicholas Muller
00:29who took silver.
00:31Julian Schweiler, also from Switzerland, claimed the gold medal.
00:36In the men's double final, Slovakian brothers Simeon and Andrzej Suchi finished on top,
00:41while TNT's own Kavir Ramouta and Veron Salik tied for third place.
00:46In the women's category, Italy's Gianna Stigic took home the women's singles crown,
00:51while Jamaicans Brianna Bisnot and Talia Richardson won the women's doubles,
00:56edging out Nikisha Bleak and Sabrina Scott in the final.
00:59TNT Badminton Association President Chanjika Ramsubag healed the event a major success.
