00:00Day 30, Bringing Back the Wandering Heart
00:10God's heart beats for the one who has wandered.
00:13His love is so personal that he would leave the ninety-nine to go after the one.
00:19That means when we wander, he notices and he comes for us.
00:24James reminds us that we, too, are called into this holy pursuit.
00:28It is not just God who seeks, but his children, us as his hands and feet.
00:35Restoring someone isn't about judgment, it's about love.
00:39It's about seeing a fellow brother or sister struggling and gently pointing them back to the truth.
00:45What an honor that God would invite us to partner with him in this redeeming work.
00:50When we think about it, each of us has been that wandering sheep at some point.
00:55Someone's prayers, encouragement, or gentle word may have been what God used to bring us back.
01:01Now we get to do the same for others.
01:04Reflection
01:05Am I aware of those around me who might be straying from God's truth?
01:10Do I carry a heart willing to reach out in love rather than stand by in silence?
01:15Application
01:16Ask God to bring to mind one person who may need encouragement, prayer, or a reminder of God's love.
01:23Take one step, send a message, pray, or simply listen with compassion.
01:29Prayer
01:29Heavenly Father, thank you for never giving up on me when I have wandered.
01:34Give me eyes to see the lost sheep around me and a heart of courage and compassion to reach out in love.
01:41Use me as an instrument of your grace to help bring others back to you.
01:46In Jesus' name, Amen.
