00:29I agree. I think he's a liar, right? He's intentionally, he knows better. He's smarter
00:35than that. I mean, they're, it's, it's, they're deceiving the American people. And he believes
00:39that whatever he says, people will believe. And he says, he believed, you know, if he says it's a
00:45hoax, they'll believe it's a hoax. And then they won't care. They won't care that we're opening
00:49out. He's opening up much more land for oil drilling. They won't care that he's cutting
00:54billions and billions and billions of dollars, even for carbon capture projects in California,
00:59for example. They won't care because he believes that what he says is the gospel and they will
01:05listen to him. And we have to get to them, American public by any means necessary to say, no, this is
01:12happening. There's a reason we're having these extended, all these extended hurricanes. There's
01:16a reason we're having these wildfires across the West, or, you know, you have U.S. states that are
01:22affected by wildfires from Canada. There's a reason the hurricanes have stronger force. This is all
01:27climate change. We need global action together, working together.
01:35But it's important for our companies to be here, for our legislators to be here,
01:38for all our mayors who were at Rio to be here to say we are in. And that's the message I'm giving.
01:44One of the reasons I felt like I had to be here is because it is the first COP in the Amazon region.
01:55And it's one thing to read about the Amazon, to see it on TV, but to actually be in the region,
02:02to be in the area, even just landing and looking out at the edges of the Amazon, it brings everything
02:09home. The fact that this is the lungs of the planet, and we don't want to cut those lungs off with
02:15deforestation, whether it be for agriculture or whether it be for oil, which might then,
02:21you know, be coming to California.
