00:04That's the reason why world leaders gather this November for COP30, the UN's Global Climate Summit.
00:11But this year it is defined by who is not coming.
00:15President Trump is skipping the conference.

00:23With the US gone, the European Union becomes the main player, bearing the brunt of demands on rich nations.
00:30And it comes at the worst possible time.
