00:00move away from here here this house it has turned out to be kind of a lonely place for me the idea

00:07of a new start is really enticing to me i want you and i to be able to start over again

00:15i think that every time i talk about moving to my mom i break her heart just a little bit more

00:21we just received a warning for a tornado

00:30mckeltie called the phone rings i answer and mckeltie's like we're in a tornado we're in a tornado

00:51it's our second day moving mckeltie cross country we're about a half an hour ahead of them

01:05we got out early this morning get to driving david stops at one point looks at his phone

01:11on his weather app and there's tornadoes everywhere they're getting closer everything is getting

01:17closer okay what do we do it's starting to get kind of bad it's a little nerve-wracking

01:24are we gonna get stuck in this middle of nowhere nebraska for days i mean we're trying to do this

01:30in three days and this might ruin all of it this could ruin everything

01:34and then it starts breaking our windshield

01:45we can actually see the tornado really close to us touching down and get even closer and it's

02:05it's freaking scary i mean honestly i went mama and i was like we're all gonna die

02:09david's like tell her just keep pushing go drive through it just drive drive drive drive drive he's

02:16like we're gonna pull off we're gonna pull we gotta go i gotta go and then she hangs out the phone

02:21okay so riding currently um in oh golly law whatever nebraska we've just got massive hail hit our windshield

02:31and it's about to break through the windshield like massive massively she held up a blanket so her kids

02:38wouldn't get hit by glass it's terrifying there's nothing you can do nothing so many helpless

02:43situations right do we get out of the car we're seeking shelter now we're gonna stop with the rest of

02:52these guys and wait for it to pass it said it should be over at seven o'clock it's almost 6 45 now

02:58i don't know exactly what's gonna happen i don't know if my if we're all about to die if i'm about to

03:07lose my kids i don't know what's gonna happen let's go under there go under there we're the best

03:10western let's seek shelter just under the hood they're behind us we're also hauling all of their

03:16stuff there's nothing that i can do

03:19i literally went on this speed date two nights ago what's your love language do you know your love i do

03:31know my love language my love language is physical touch actually my uh first is words of affirmation

03:36okay and then the secondary stuff i've had conversations with men before where they just

03:43talk about themselves the whole time and they don't care to know about me you know what i mean

03:48and ron seemed interested he's tall he's nice looking he's got great eyes so we matched but we

03:57haven't been in communication at all yet fancy is that to stir the wine or mix or mix your paint colors

04:05together i've got a bunch of girlfriends coming over for the weekend howdy ho hello we're gonna be

04:15doing some painting and wine night kind of thing cheers i haven't painted for a really long time and

04:21i've kind of been missing it this is perfect yum i'm excited that's why i'm like friends come come

04:27paint with me okay guys what do you think we're gonna paint tonight are we just all painting whatever

04:33so before everybody got there amber had shown me this video on social media about um a woman in a

04:41grocery store um you know just kind of comparing uh vegetables to male anatomy eggplant painting

04:51we all could do that are you serious

04:54i am very well aware of what the eggplant emoji on social media is used for i mean they use the peach

05:04for you know females but i think that's what it is for

05:12it matches your shirt i feel like it's on these we're aesthetic here so there are emojis out there that

05:18are that are sexually explicit just saying eggplant's one of them i'm going to tell you i don't know

05:23exactly what it means an eggplant is an eggplant i don't know it's supposed to what is it supposed to

05:29be my kids sometimes say to me mom don't use that emoji did you know that plants come on trees oh all of

05:36that sounded really bad i rarely drink i don't know how this happened and i'm feeling kind of embarrassed

05:45um but evidently now we're all painting eggplants i'm so i just i need you to not look at my paper

05:51that's gonna be really hard what's your damn eyes

06:01have you ever ever eaten an eggplant the eggplant that i had one time i did not like

06:09me either shocker shocker like i came into this evening wanting to paint and now all of a sudden

06:19it's all about eggplants just indefinitely drawing

06:27so mary how are you i'm so good dating a little bit here and there let's talk about that actually

06:35since you brought it up so mary have you matched with anybody lately yeah i had a 10 minute date

06:42that was it it was fun though it was fun the whole experience was very fun no he was really nice he was

06:49really easy to talk to i would totally go out on a date with him i hope that he'll call or text or

06:53reach out somehow and then i don't know we'll just see if anything happens from there what are you looking

07:00for when dating mary um somebody who's kind somebody who is willing to cheer me on in all the things

07:13that i do i think facial hair is very sexy can he please be at least six feet tall i mean i would love

07:20that i'm also not going to be like uh if he's not six feet tall like he's out you know the running you

07:26know i think it's adequately moist i'm done all right i am last okay for the great reveal this is

07:35so done so funny i cannot wait to see i'm done oh yeah guys so here's the deal mary will show her um us

07:45hers and then we will show her ours yes i love the dinner time dinner time are you saying that

07:56you wanted to eat it i mean i i i'm oh i'm i don't know what to say

08:05i am open to all options at this point

08:15okay

08:19it's all the moistness you need wow

08:21this is so good whatever we ended up painting i hundred percent knew that andrews was going to be

08:30amazing okay i can't wait all right okay i feel like we need a drum roll or something i know

08:37may i just remind the group that our theme was and innuendos and such yes yes without further ado

08:45i did not picture this evening going this way at all

08:56rob and i are probably going to be moving and so we have been going through a process of packing

09:02like crazy

09:02we're pulling in we're calling back david and mom and we're seeing if um we need to stay the night or

09:13what we're supposed to do or if we're supposed to get out of the car we went into this hotel to seek

09:18shelter with you know everybody else who was on the road and the people were actually very kind and

09:24everyone's just standing by the window staring we basically waited until everybody else in the lobby

09:29had gone back to their cars and they had left and we're like okay if the locals say it's clear and

09:34fine it's clear and fine we can continue to drive no more no more scary tornado warnings

09:46last night mckelty and tony made it to the hotel safely i checked them in the room

09:50met up with them after and they said it was like terrifying so david and i went early this morning

09:57to go for a coffee run and we took their truck and when i saw the windshield i realized how close

10:04they came kelty and tony's windshield after their tornado encounter there's holes not holes but like

10:14craters in their windshield like this big five or six craters in their windshield this is the deal

10:22david wants to find the tornado i don't want to go tornado chasing when david goes tornado chasing

10:29i'm going to stay at home yeah i'll start the huddle you stay there and watch the tornado

10:35or flee so you don't get you know we're staying

10:38yeah david was bothered that he did not get to enjoy the thrill of the tornado he's like man those

10:51guys are so lucky and we're like oh my gosh we wish that we could have traded places because he

10:55actually missed the tornado by about 40 minutes one extra stop one poop break that would have been him he

11:01would have been there we're a big family there will always be somebody in flux in a state of change

11:16changes are going to happen and here i am going you know tony mckelt here headed north carolina and

11:22and we're hopefully headed to the other side of flagstaff

11:37robin and i are probably going to be moving we're expecting that we may be moving we're hoping

11:41we're going to be moving and so we've been going through a process of packing like crazy we've doubled

11:48our efforts to just get this house prepped it's been a lot of hard work here the real real estate

11:57agents here oh justin's here yeah justin's here okay cool hey man how's it going what's happening

12:06just just caught you driving up how are you i'm awesome man how about yourself robin and i found our

12:10dream home on the other side of town and it was a little too expensive and we watched that price

12:16come down until we decided to make an offer on it so we made an offer but that offer requires that we

12:23sell the home that we're living in right now so we're scrambling to pack ourselves so we prepare this

12:31house to sell and it because that's that's got to happen we have to sell this house to buy that one

12:39uh i hope you've got good news i have fantastic absolutely absolutely it's one of these things

12:46that since i met robin she has said faith in god one step in front of the other we're going to pack this

12:56house because we believe we're going to be blessed with the other we got a cash offer just under list

13:04oh my god no contingencies oh my ready to roll wow what do you think

13:13well i'm excited if it's a cash offer then closing can happen almost when they want to or

13:19whenever you guys are ready yeah whenever we're ready

13:22you guys got some things we'll have to move around and always let me know i got a pickup truck to help

13:26but um yeah so it's just a matter of us reviewing it and deciding that's cool that's amazing now the

13:33question is mrs brown if we're keeping this table oh that's gonna be a real fight i don't

13:38think they included the table so i think we're gonna move it no no no she doesn't want to put it

13:42in another place oh i see what you're saying yeah yeah i want this table this table is cool

13:49the table

13:52me and robin disagree on the table this table's awesome i've hated how big it is it's just and it's

13:59very very masculine looking it's a bunch of wood stacked together and then just kind of covered in

14:06some sort of finish i don't like fighting with her but this is one where i'm gonna stand my ground

14:14okay so he's got these two tastes he's got this really manly masculine taste and then he has kind

14:19of more my taste which is like more intricate old world type of style traditional maybe a little bit

14:25and so he'll go between the two and it just depends on the day kind of thing

14:30so in plural marriage it's not uncommon for us to just sort of come to these impasses where there's

14:35little different disagreements and and when it comes to plural marriage my wives had sort of this

14:39independence so i i sort of let it go it's like well you decide what you want to do stuff like that

14:44robin came into my life and robin suddenly went well i want you in my life so you're going to be part

14:49of all these decisions and even she provided an office for me in her house and um and the other

14:57wives could have done the same i think it's too big to move cody um do they want to keep any of the

15:03like sheds or anything or is it move it all off is everything leaving with us i would say most personal

15:09property goes okay are we talking about 20 30 days um i recall just over 30 days really yeah just to

15:16allow you guys to have enough time to you know plan and call those movers back and make sure

15:21everything is ready to roll the new home for me is like a new beginning closer to the the college

15:27closer to the girls church i see a lot of future there which is really great well i got to run to

15:34my next appointment um i want to say thank you guys for having me over i think these are much more

15:38important conversations to have in person and um thanks for having me thank you thanks for giving me

15:43the opportunity cool let's get you out of here on time thank you we'll be in touch initial draw with

15:48the new houses is it's a new beginning and it's a place for my kids to come to but it's almost like

15:56a start over i need a place for truly that is sort of like her room there's a lot of strained

16:03relationships amongst me and my adult children so this house is simply a new opportunity to invite them

16:11here and to potentially enjoy their company here even if it's in some kind of fantasy i just want

16:21to be able to say hey there's space for you you can come and visit us

16:30i can laugh at the best of them and i can be embarrassed and i can still laugh

16:34we've been in a state of kind of panic and terror packing boxes like oh no this is happening

16:41buddy stop i mean we'll go we'll go over there a dolly will not carry this

16:53i wonder how many glasses of wine hillary had

16:56listen she was so excited about her painting so without further ado

17:14she was very proud of it and it's i mean it's obvious what she intended to portray

17:21i love the skin headband i do i had a lot of fun with my friends there was a lot of humor and you

17:32know um i can laugh at the best of them and i can be embarrassed and i can still laugh

17:38we never really stood still cody always felt like the pasture was greener there was always

17:54some reason that we needed to move somewhere i don't know why he always felt like we needed to

17:58move cody is just a very social person maybe that's part of why he just wants to move and like

18:04he's always on the run always doing something okay hey what is going to be easier for us to go over

18:11this no no no we've been in a state of kind of panic and terror for about nine weeks of

18:21will our offer be accepted first and then going through the process of just

18:24packing boxes like oh no this is happening in the back you're ready rihanna we need you

18:29we need another person we went ahead and accepted the offer that we we had which all

18:38turned out to be just great and amicable and we are moving out of this house we've closed on the new

18:46house we've been able to finance that we're going to start moving stuff over but we're still

18:52very much under the mad dash of of still moving out of this house let's get the rest of the furniture

18:57cody stop i need we'll go we'll go over there a dolly will not carry this will help it won't at all

19:07this house had a series of sad events first of all i start breaking up with my family i get covid

19:16uh you know christine leaves we have kind of a nasty christmas and then christmas that we don't

19:21even do together i mean like just one thing after another and then this is where i got the news

19:26of garrison's passing this place has pain in it you doing all right i was in a deep deep depression

19:35in this house while the the splits were happening while the divorces were happening every split

19:43happened when i was living when we were living in this hash knife house is it weird or different not

19:48having the help of the whole family for a move

20:07anyway is there anything else okay are we just getting outside first here should we take the big

20:12no dining table no you just need to get the outside furniture i'm just excited to leave and i'm

20:20very very excited i i feel serenity at the other place a piece that i i've been looking for i think cool

20:29we experienced a lot of heartache here this is where my heart broke right here kind of situation and

20:41uh we want a new beginning something different something new so much has changed

20:46i just found out from a random stranger like online about cody and robin selling their house and i

20:59just didn't believe it at all i started seeing things on social media about cody and robin selling their

21:04house um obviously we don't have a much interaction so it's not something that they would tell me

21:11their house is weird i can't blame them i know well that's not nice whatever i love my house i think

21:19they should also love their house cody probably has a lot of hard memories in that house he had three

21:25wives leave him while he lived in that house and yeah it's his and robin's home and it was just them

21:30inside but think about all the conversations they had and all the hard times that he had in different

21:35rooms of that house and and all the frustration and anger that he felt in that house i think it's a

21:40good idea for him to move move and be done with that close that door start another chapter a whole

21:45other life with robin and just move on i think the more we're talking about it the more it makes sense to

21:51me it's day three and the plan is to get to charlotte today

22:03i mean so far on the on this moving trip it's been a bit rough tornado not my favorite

22:16broken car not my favorite scared kids not my favorite scared wife not my favorite so that's

22:22nice and i'm just hoping that the rest of us goes without problems because anything can happen going

22:27cross country we are 50 minutes outside of kansas city missouri and david calls up tony lets us know

22:40that we've got a flat on the trailer so we're driving and someone's flagging us down so they're like

22:49they're flagging us down so david's like oh no so we pull off and the tire on the trailer it's not a flat

22:58it is shredded it's shredded i don't know how long that tire has been flat but it's demolished we're

23:06just going nowhere and weird enough this is the only time of these whole three days where we're right by

23:12mckelty and tony fun experience tony oh so fun it's got to be something every day right the tire is

23:20spaghetti it's gone there's nothing left we wanted a nice boring day oh we want an exciting day we do

23:27yes it's kind of exciting these are the best road trips what yes what do you want a boring one where

23:33you don't do anything you fall asleep oh hell no now we're going to take a lunch break and we're

23:39going to get some food for the kids and we're going to let them run around and um you know hopefully we'll be

23:44on the road soon but so they called the um the company to come and fix it

23:54they were done in like 45 minutes we have a long history of flat tires and moves we know how to do

23:58this we're leaving utah for good and we don't get 11 or 12 miles the tire shredded we get that done

24:07and we start driving off again christine gets a flat tire in the van we travel down 200 miles

24:15another flat tire the brown family has a history of just not being able to do something simple and

24:21easy okay let's get in the car we're gonna go get lunch

24:25oh my god she said it and i'm like wow what

24:43oh wow i'm feeling

24:48serenity i don't think it's fully processed for me like the fact that we have the house and now that's

24:53why going over there is fun the new home is ours okay we've financed we've closed we're taking the

25:01patio furniture over there with the kids over and before we unload the patio furniture we want to let

25:07the kids in the house and just say hey here we are this is ours this is your new home

25:12what do you think are you going to miss our old house yeah but i like this house a lot more you

25:23sure we've had a lot of memories but this house is way bigger what about the property is there anything

25:32like what's happening with that yeah apparently coding rob i don't know i don't know what's happening

25:35with the property sell of coyote pass will really help us with the new house but justin doesn't even

25:43have it on the market yet it's not ready to sell selling coyote pass became a reality for us for me

25:49and robin only when we we discovered we really wanted this other house you know there's there's a

25:55pressure to do everything it's just bing bong boom okay all right get your keys out sweetie pie

26:10we made it yeah safely here safely sound oh it was kind of rough it was really rough

26:16so we got in pretty late last night we didn't have enough time to do much of anything we had

26:27just basically dropped the u-haul off and then we loaded the kids and we just took off for a hotel

26:32because we couldn't sleep here we needed to sleep in beds and have one more good night of sleep before

26:38all this all this um their their house before that they had in lehi was not great for their family

26:45it was split level it wasn't comfortable and this is an older but a very comfortable home this house

26:53is on a cul-de-sac you have kids they can just run and play bikes and it's magical their backyard is a

27:01forest if you see our backyard it's just woods it's amazing yeah we're really excited

27:10this is the first time that tony vai have actually we've checked out the house

27:16they have all the bedrooms together upstairs that's always lovely it's just a lovely flow

27:22to the home a nice cozy comfortable family home feels like a family home and their home before

27:26didn't really feel like a family home they did it they made it work but it's great

27:34i'm actually really excited about figuring it out here we're not really sure how we actually got that

27:40up there to be honest truck is unloading quick but still think it'll take us a while but so far so

27:46good so we're going to spend the next couple days basically just yeah unpacking unloading getting

27:51settled and then we go back to work back to life tony starts i'll start tomorrow yeah i gotta work tomorrow

27:59when mckeltie and tony decided to have kids mckeltie was going to have a career and tony was going to

28:03watch the kids but still this whole move has been in support of tony's chess career because where

28:10they lived before it wasn't like this this hub of chess so north carolina charlotte specifically is

28:15a chess hub and tony can move and he can become an instructor and that's like the dream he's very good

28:22tony's very good at chess and he has built this team of people that is they're very very good at playing

28:28chess and yeah he's moving so he can further a chess career but do it so he's able to take care of

28:36the kids and then still have this on the side as well the drive from maddie's to mckeltie's is about

28:45four hours it's all interstate it all moves really fast it's all pretty simple like i hope that it means

28:51that we'll be able to get together more often hello i mean like it's exciting that we'll have

28:58all the grand babies in this state sorry christine i'm really excited sun room porch back

29:09there's nothing here that i would i don't know why people it's great they can have it

29:15yeah mckeltie's room i just feel home i feel like david and i have a beautiful

29:19home we just feel like that's home you just don't feel it just don't feel the call to north carolina it's

29:25not that i have a problem with it what i have a problem with is people saying now that maddie

29:30and mckeltie have moved here you and david have to move here that's what i have a problem with david

29:34and i have a home we have kids and we have kids there where we live so no i'm not following my

29:39children i'll come and see them on vacation oh are you guys going to do christmas together no maddie's

29:45gonna be in tennessee our first year at christmas here no no i had no idea that maddie was pregnant

30:04maddie's been saying to me um i think i'm just gonna keep it quiet for a while when she said it

30:09i'm like okay i guess we're doing this what's that another one when we were unpacking the house

30:26she actually told us she's pregnant this is maddie's fourth baby thanks for outnumbering me

30:30you have a surprise it wasn't planned she said it and i'm like wow what so that's how it's done with

30:38all of maddie's though maddie's reveal that when maddie told us about all of her pregnancies um she

30:43doesn't like show signs that she's pregnant she's not like if she's sick she holds it you know if she's

30:49craving weird foods we don't know if she's sick we don't know if like she's whatever we don't know

30:53she doesn't complain about anything at all so yeah we had no idea she was pregnant

30:57i'm stoked for her this is like one of the other reasons i'm happy i'm out here i get to be here for

31:02maddie's babies as well i'm so excited yeah she's mad prego i thought they were done

31:09i i was like kind of excited i'm like oh yeah pregnancy era that's done

31:14pops up again does it make you think about having another one now that's absolutely not no questions

31:21nope it's just this is what i learned from cody the farther you split yourself though the higher

31:26there's a big difference between four and 18. yeah but the principle applies wait is it like

31:32due soon or no march march march okay oh that's mom's favorite thing i know

31:44that was a garrison thing really cool garrison's off

31:48this is exciting and it's a surprise and the baby is due on the day that garrison passed away

32:01isn't that crazy it's like full cycle so the idea of garrison hanging out with one of his nieces oh i

32:07can't i can't i can't talk about it again it's just or nephew uh gosh it's good it's like full

32:15circle to her to have a baby oh i'm excited gosh she's such a good mom i'm actually so excited when

32:22she told me um it's cool because it coincides with garrison's death it's the date of garrison's

32:27death is her due date and so it's cool i think most of my family still just we're just grieving we're

32:40however i think moving on as best we can um it's brought in my siblings and i really close

32:47we're closer than we've ever been since we were little little kids but i think we're all just

32:51processing saying it as best we can um it's actually created my siblings to distance wise move themselves

32:57closer to like sibling hubs so we have i mean a lot of people in vegas a lot of people in utah and a

33:03lot of people here in north carolina now and we've just kind of created hubs to be together so nobody's

33:08really alone there there it's open now leave it leave it

33:20there's lots and lots of spaces in this the whole property that will be really great for

33:30long term and having a bunch of grandkids and kids coming back and hanging out and doing stuff

33:37together and have making amazing memories and a second garage for cody and his projects and stuff

33:45like that a place for his table besides just the extra garage and storage space the house has about

33:5640 percent more square footage plus a bedroom and a bathroom

34:04the kitchen is no longer just this little galley and it has a formal dining room as well as dining space

34:12connected to the kitchen a little bit bigger living room and then an additional larger family room

34:19i kind of kept still going hey father if there's a way for us to get in this house

34:23please open up the door it's been something that cody and i have been thinking about for several months

34:29and praying about and kind of hoping for okay you guys i want everybody to look at bedroom this is the

34:35jack and jeal bathroom that goes to this other bedroom too and then there's this bathroom that

34:43this bath bedroom will be for the room seriously i mean we barely had any room in the house i mean

34:51we could barely play high and seek i'm trying to hear the stud to make sure there's studs it's so

34:57nice to have studs it's nice to have a stud around that's what i meant there's some opulence there's

35:04some beauty here there's some magnificence that is really really special the clean look of this

35:10house it's it's very feels great i mean like

35:20the word just opulence comes to mind

35:25we'll be leaving a lot of pain and hard memories behind i think too just the space itself is going

35:32to be really really conducive to some of the things that we want to do with our future

35:38this this would be a room that make it like a guest room and then truly's room yeah let's go look in

35:44the kitchen oh look at this dining room too yeah it's delicious mrs brown my big table

35:52i i'm telling you my big table will fit right that is blocking the walkway to the stairs yeah but there's

35:59that stair and then here's the thing whatever happens right here there's going to be it can't

36:03be there if it's it's going to be this way when it doesn't i don't want that stairway blocked as long

36:09as it never really makes robin angry i'm going to push this on her all the time whatever happens if

36:16we don't find another table and this goes into our house the new home i'm going to relish the idea that

36:24it's still there yeah i just i just think since we've worked so hard to getting here and there

36:29was so much prayer involved and god was so involved in our process we really we owe him a big we owe him

36:36a big thank you so some things only god can do yeah and he wanted to prove it to us by making it

36:43him creating a little havoc and then a little miracle almighty father in heaven we thank you

36:56what is that let me see

37:00oh my gosh this is why you're moving they're going to grow up with the best friends this is why you

37:07move oh that's so amazing i'm just so happy i get it i never lived near my parents but it's not me

37:13it's their life you know people people move out and they don't move back home

37:20are you excited for this next chapter in your life i am stoked you are i am super excited oh i'm

37:25way ready what's your favorite what's your favorite thing about about my house about moving out here

37:30away from your loving mother no i didn't no the change yeah i'm excited about the change the

37:35difference the the opportunity there's a lot of opportunity out here i'm excited for you thank

37:41you but you're not excited about it but you're excited for me i'm excited because you're excited

37:48it's hard

37:53i have a hug

37:56oh i love you love you mom you can cry on thursday i'm gonna cry on thursday i won't cry

38:01i'm pretty sure you'll cry your whole flight home four hours of tears

38:07and then when you get to the airport more tears i'm gonna lock myself in the bathroom

38:10don't talk about it right now

38:15it's been my support system for a long time oh i'm gonna miss her a lot

38:20i'm gonna miss her next time on sister wives boy talk i mean there's just been a couple of guys i've

38:29been talking to jen's view on dating is definitely a lot different than mine is it's because of the

38:34the culture that i grew up in okay well look that does not say kiss the cook
