00:00Joe is a traitor.
00:05I have to give a second.
00:08On the night I tried to raise the idea that Joe was a traitor,
00:12I came very close to being a British myself.
00:25You're not jealous of any game. Why?
00:30I am, and have always been, a traitor.
00:45Oh!
00:52I'm so sorry.
00:55He's been tearing me apart. I'm so sorry.
01:00You did brilliantly.
01:02I'm so sorry, so you did for him.
01:03You did for him. You did for him.
01:05You did for him.
01:07Hello, and welcome to the Celebrity Traitors' Uncloaked Grand Finale.
01:14I'm Ed Gamble and we're going to be unpacking everything from that jaw-dropping last episode with all our finalists.
01:20Hello and welcome to the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked Grand Finale.
01:27I'm Ed Gamble and we're going to be unpacking everything
01:29from that jaw-dropping last episode with all our finalists.
01:33We're here at the BBC Radio Theatre with a studio audience
01:35full of our all-star cast of Celebrity Faithful and Traitors
01:38and how amazing do they all look?
01:40You look incredible.
01:45Coming up, Claudia Winkleman is here to finally discuss the show
01:48she usually has to avoid talking about.
01:50Kat, Jo, David and Nick will be on this stage to decompress
01:53from that unbelievably stressful final day
01:55and our winner Alan will be joining us to tell us what it takes to go all the way.
02:00Get yourself comfy because this is the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked Finale.
02:07What a final episode.
02:09I mean, I was so stressed that I am, well, let's just say Celia would have been proud.
02:14We're going to be speaking to the finalists shortly
02:16but first off, I am joined by the fingerless glove-wearing legend
02:19that is Claudia Winkleman.
02:23Hello.
02:24Claudia.
02:26Welcome. Welcome back to Uncloaked.
02:28You've just seen that very, very tense finale.
02:30How did you feel watching it back?
02:32Quite emotional.
02:34Can I just show everybody my T-shirt?
02:35Absolutely.
02:36There he is.
02:37Because even though, obviously, I was there,
02:45yes, just watching it back, because I don't watch the other ones back.
02:48So, yeah, it was a lot and it's just amazing that our cast are here.
02:51The atmosphere in this room was electric.
02:54Yeah.
02:55I mean, I'm not a football fan, but I'd imagine this is what it feels like
02:57to watch England score a big goal.
02:59You see?
02:59It was amazing.
03:01Yeah.
03:01What was it like at the time, though?
03:03Obviously, watching it back is a different experience.
03:05What was it like when you were in the room for that endgame?
03:07Well, unbelievable.
03:09I mean, my knees were knocking because I'm incredibly nervous.
03:12And it is, without sounding like a total tool,
03:16it is an absolute privilege to always be at those roundtables.
03:21But, yeah, the endgame was quite something.
03:23And when the third green pouch went in,
03:26and I realised what was happening.
03:28People have seen this now.
03:29Had I mentioned there's already videos going up online
03:31of pubs, people watching it, and pints just flying in the air.
03:35It was because you feel...
03:37I feel so protective of them all.
03:39You feel for them individually.
03:40I love Nick because all he could just say was,
03:43Joe.
03:45And Joe was utterly brilliant.
03:47You know, that moment he went,
03:48I've worked out who they are.
03:50It was like a pull focus.
03:51I was like, watch him go.
03:54And then Cat, who was extraordinary throughout,
03:57was so brilliant in the turret.
03:58And the fact they caught...
04:00You know, the whole thing is sort of highly emotional.
04:03You gave a speech to them quite early on in the game
04:06about how people lie to them all of the time
04:08because they're celebrities.
04:09I loved that speech.
04:10Do you think that sort of thing makes the game harder
04:12for celebrities?
04:13Um, I don't know that it makes it harder for them,
04:17but I thought there were two things.
04:19One, the traitors were utterly brilliant.
04:22Yeah.
04:22And two, so there was only so much they could do.
04:27But it is a hard game.
04:29You know, the absolute star of this whole thing
04:32is the game is addictive.
04:34It takes over.
04:34It's hard for anyone.
04:35But what I also love is...
04:37Because people watch at home sometimes
04:38and sometimes people will say to me,
04:40how do they not know?
04:42You don't know.
04:43It's very easy when you're watching at home,
04:46but when you're sitting there,
04:47it is almost impossible.
04:49Now, I know you're very fond of everyone
04:50who played the game,
04:52but I know you had a particular fondness
04:53for one player.
04:54I'm talking about the national treasure
04:56that is Celia and Brie.
04:57Oh, my gosh.
04:58What is it in particular that draws you to Celia?
05:01She is so twinkly.
05:03I've never met anybody that twinkly.
05:06I've always loved Celia.
05:07So when they said,
05:08Celia's taking part,
05:09I was like,
05:10are you joking?
05:11The actual?
05:12Or like a tribute?
05:14No, the actual.
05:16And I'm not allowed.
05:17I have to be like Cruella de Vil,
05:18which I find difficult
05:19because I just wanted to go,
05:20oh, I love your song
05:21and you're brilliant.
05:22And so I'm not allowed.
05:24I'm just like strict
05:25and fluorescent orange.
05:27And there was one point
05:28when I'm standing at Celia
05:29and just out the corner of my mouth,
05:30I thought the producers
05:31won't hear this.
05:31I just went,
05:32obsessed.
05:35And she was like,
05:36thank you.
05:38Celia,
05:38it's wonderful to hear,
05:40you know,
05:41how much Claudia loves you,
05:42but we want to know,
05:42have you got any better at snooping?
05:44No, not really.
05:46Really not.
05:48I'm just,
05:48the thing is
05:50that you said you were obsessed
05:51after I'd admitted
05:53I was two-faced.
05:54That's why we were all
05:55obsessed by you
05:56because Celia,
05:57well, my other favourite thing
05:58that Celia did
05:58is she would say,
05:59you are dazzling
06:01and then write their name
06:02on the board.
06:03It was so compelling.
06:05Someone else
06:06who didn't make the final,
06:07Nico,
06:07unfortunately,
06:08you went out quite early,
06:09but how was it
06:10watching that back?
06:11Do you think there was
06:11some good gameplay in there?
06:13Yeah, I mean,
06:14Joe,
06:14I was very impressed with.
06:17I just can't believe
06:18it was bottled at the end,
06:19in the final moment.
06:21But yeah,
06:21it's a very tough game.
06:22I do feel in a way
06:24like I made it to the final
06:25because I have the same name
06:27as Nick.
06:29You were there?
06:30Yeah, so yeah,
06:31almost won.
06:34Now, we're going to be hearing
06:35from our finalists
06:36and our winner quite soon,
06:38but first, Claudia,
06:39you are the hostess
06:39with the mostess
06:40and thank you so much
06:41for entertaining us
06:42week after week
06:42and I know you hate this bit.
06:44I hate it.
06:44I know you hate the compliments.
06:45Well, you're going to hate
06:45this bit even more
06:46because let's have a look
06:47at your best bits.
06:51Tiny word of warning,
06:52don't relax too much.
06:53Tomorrow,
06:54the killing spree begins.
06:56This isn't personal,
06:58but it is tradition.
07:00Oh!
07:01I know you're thinking it,
07:02so I'm going to say it.
07:04They've just dug
07:04their own graves.
07:06Nothing like the sound
07:07of screaming celebrities.
07:09It's the even price
07:10in the water.
07:11They come on.
07:12Faithful,
07:13you are breaking my heart.
07:15You are famous.
07:17People lie to you
07:18all the time.
07:20I love that show.
07:22It's a great jacket.
07:24I listened to that
07:25particular podcast twice.
07:29What just happened?
07:31I just filed it, Claudia.
07:33But I always own up.
07:35I know.
07:35I always own up, too.
07:37Well done.
07:39We'll get you out
07:40with the others shortly.
07:43No immediate rush.
07:44Come to me!
07:46Come on!
07:46Go quick!
07:47Run!
07:48Go quick, run!
07:49Queen!
07:53We did it!
07:55That was better
07:56than my wedding day.
08:05Thank you, Claudia.
08:10Iconic as ever.
08:11Thank you, Claudia.
08:12We'll be talking
08:13to our winner,
08:13Alan soon.
08:14But with me now,
08:15I'm thrilled to welcome
08:16our four runners-up,
08:17Kat, Joe,
08:18David and Neil!
08:25Well, we're very excited
08:26to have you with us here
08:27for this very special finale.
08:29Kat, let's talk about
08:30that final round table
08:31because going into it,
08:32you and Alan
08:32were very confident.
08:34I mean,
08:34erring on cocky,
08:36would you say?
08:37You're sort of very sure
08:38that Joe was on your side.
08:39Yeah, we were.
08:40Do you know what?
08:40I was hoodwinked by Joe.
08:43I did think
08:44that you were going
08:46to be the deciding vote
08:47because I was like,
08:49I knew Nick was going
08:50to vote for me
08:50and then I knew realistically
08:51David would vote for me too.
08:54So then I was like,
08:54it's going to be Joe.
08:56And I did think
08:58that you were going
08:58to go for David
08:59and then it was
09:00when the conversation
09:01on the round table,
09:03it was varied,
09:04but then towards the end
09:05of the conversation,
09:06I was like,
09:07I feel like Joe's
09:08going to vote for me
09:09and you couldn't
09:09look me in the eye.
09:10So that's when I was like,
09:12yeah, my time's done.
09:13I had a good run
09:14and then I got dashed.
09:16But even when we were
09:17in Scotland speaking,
09:18I think you were still
09:19under the impression
09:19that Joe changed
09:20his mind last minute.
09:21How does it feel
09:22watching it back
09:23and knowing that
09:23that was pretty much
09:24Joe's plan all along?
09:25I think it's just
09:26fabulous television.
09:27I just think it's so funny
09:29that me and Alan are like,
09:30yeah, yeah,
09:30we've got this,
09:31we've got this.
09:31And Joe's like,
09:32I know it's them two
09:33and I'm going to get it.
09:34I just think it's great telly.
09:36At what point
09:37did you start to suspect Kat?
09:38Because I think
09:39from our perspective
09:40as a viewer,
09:41you were sort of,
09:42you know,
09:42sniffing around some traitors,
09:43but then in that episode eight,
09:44you were like,
09:45it's Alan and Kat
09:46and just blew everyone away.
09:47Yeah, I think I worked it out
09:49on day one
09:50that it was Jonathan,
09:52Kat and Alan.
09:54But I was having
09:55so much fun in there.
09:56Yeah.
09:57No,
09:58the shield
09:59cock-ups
10:00from Jonathan
10:01and Alan,
10:02they were the sort
10:03of giveaways for me
10:04that I was like,
10:05hmm,
10:06I like shields.
10:07You don't seem to like
10:08them as much as me.
10:10Now, Nick,
10:10you were suspicious of Kat
10:11from, I think,
10:12episode five.
10:13Yeah.
10:13But you decided
10:14to keep that to yourself.
10:16Yeah.
10:16Which is a very clever plan,
10:17but how do you feel
10:18about how the plan
10:19played out in the end?
10:20Oh, I think I thought
10:21I was being clever
10:22and then it all
10:23just backfired a little bit.
10:24I think as soon as you,
10:26there was one round table
10:27where you voted for David
10:28that felt,
10:30just didn't ring true
10:31for some reason.
10:31I thought,
10:32and at first I thought
10:33it was you and Lucy.
10:34I remember thinking
10:34it was you, Lucy,
10:35and Jonathan.
10:36Yeah.
10:36And I thought you and Lucy
10:37were in cahoots.
10:38But that was wrong.
10:40I mean, I was wrong
10:40pretty much every single
10:41step of the way
10:42in every episode, I think.
10:44I don't think that's true at all.
10:45I think there were people
10:46that were more wrong than you.
10:47Okay.
10:47And I'm naming no names.
10:51David, next question for you.
10:56What do you think it was
10:57about Kat's game
10:58that meant that
10:59so few people suspected her
11:01right up until the end?
11:02Well, I think a number of people
11:03did suspect Kat,
11:05but we did this thing
11:06where we would suspect somebody
11:08have a conversation
11:09with one other person
11:10and then totally forget that
11:12at the round table.
11:13We just kept doing
11:15the same thing.
11:16You know,
11:16I think we had a conversation
11:18in episode five
11:19about Kat
11:19and then we both voted
11:21for somebody else
11:21at the round table.
11:22So there was not much...
11:24I think you voted for me.
11:25Yeah, I think I was, yeah.
11:26That's what I meant
11:27by somebody else.
11:30Kat, the night you go
11:31into the turret
11:32to meet your fellow traitors
11:33and you see it's Alan
11:34and Jonathan,
11:35how confident are you
11:36at that point
11:37that you can move
11:38through the game
11:39as a group of traitors?
11:40I just found it so funny
11:42when it was Alan.
11:43I couldn't hold it in.
11:45I think I was really confident
11:47because I just thought
11:47it was quite a rogue trio.
11:51Like, I really didn't expect
11:53it to be me
11:53and then when Claudia tapped me
11:54I was like,
11:55oh my God,
11:56what the heck?
11:57So when I saw it was Alan
11:59I was like,
12:00when I saw it was Alan
12:00and Jonathan
12:01I was like,
12:01I feel like we can get
12:02pretty far
12:03because Jonathan's
12:04a great talker
12:04as we could see.
12:05He got through
12:06so many round tables
12:07and then Alan,
12:09all he had to do
12:10was go,
12:10and everyone just went,
12:12oh, it's not him.
12:13So it was a fabulous trio.
12:15Well, yeah,
12:16one of the big dogs
12:17is out the kennel.
12:18Jonathan is with us here.
12:19You seem very pleased
12:20that Kat and Alan
12:21were your comrades,
12:22Jonathan.
12:22Do you think
12:23it's the difference
12:23in personalities
12:24that made you confident
12:25about the group?
12:26I think I was just,
12:27I mean,
12:27I was just happy
12:28to see someone else
12:29up there with me.
12:30I mean,
12:31but I mean,
12:31I know Kat a little bit
12:33and I knew how calm she is
12:34and I know how she presents
12:35as being very calm
12:36so I thought that would be useful
12:38and when Alan came in
12:39I just think,
12:40you know,
12:40he's so much fun
12:41to spend time in.
12:42I mean,
12:42looking back now,
12:42Alan played a far more
12:43kind of tactical game
12:44than I thought he was
12:45at the time.
12:46He was far clever with it
12:47and I knew you were
12:48very tactical as well
12:49and a lot of the time,
12:50I mean,
12:50a lot of the time
12:51we'd go up there
12:51and I'd say,
12:51I think we should kill
12:52so-and-so
12:52and they'd both
12:54talk me around
12:54and we wound up
12:55killing someone
12:56who I really thought
12:56we shouldn't kill
12:57but they had a better
12:59grasp of the game
12:59I think really.
13:00Are you happy
13:01that it was a Tracer's win
13:02in the end?
13:02Oh yeah,
13:03that's all I really wanted.
13:04I mean,
13:05you know,
13:05and that's what I think
13:06is probably different
13:06about this version
13:07of the game
13:07to the regular version
13:08is that it does become
13:09more like the two teams
13:10against each other
13:11but I really wanted
13:12to see one of the
13:13or ideally two of them
13:14get through to the end
13:15and you did of course
13:16but having watched
13:17last week's episode
13:18there's no way
13:19I thought either
13:19were you going to survive
13:20and for that
13:21I think we do need
13:21to thank Nick.
13:24You're very welcome.
13:27Thank him, shall we?
13:30I cannot believe.
13:35We'll get to it, Joe.
13:36Don't worry,
13:37we'll get to it.
13:37You will have your chance
13:39to have a say.
13:40The Humpty P collapse.
13:43It's amazing being
13:44in the room
13:44with your stare.
13:46It really is unsettling, Joe.
13:47My stare?
13:48Your stare, yeah.
13:49Oh yeah, the stare?
13:49Yeah, the stare.
13:50What is the stare?
13:51It's your face.
13:55How did it feel
13:56watching the final back?
13:57Yeah, it was fine.
13:59No issues whatsoever.
14:02Me and Nick are right.
14:03Me and David are right.
14:05I just struggled
14:05to make eye contact
14:06with them from now on.
14:08I mean, I was sitting
14:09in the row in front of you
14:10watching that
14:11and when you saw
14:12you get banished
14:13you did shout
14:14scumbags at them.
14:16Did I?
14:17No, I didn't mean that.
14:19I didn't mean that.
14:20I was,
14:20I just couldn't work out.
14:23I still,
14:23I don't think
14:23until we spoke,
14:25I said,
14:26what was it?
14:26And it was because
14:27I was,
14:28like you just said,
14:29being polite
14:30and saying,
14:32I wasn't saying
14:33sorry to Kat
14:33because I was Judas
14:34in her,
14:35like you did me.
14:36I was so convinced.
14:38I was saying
14:39sorry to Kat
14:40because I really liked her
14:41and enjoyed my time
14:42together.
14:43I was like,
14:43sorry mate,
14:44you know,
14:44thingy.
14:45What happened?
14:46When Joe and I
14:48text each other
14:48after we got out
14:49of the castle
14:49he continually
14:50refers to me
14:51as Judas
14:51and then
14:52occasionally replaces
14:54the you with a heart
14:55which is quite nice.
14:59You were arguably,
15:00Joe,
15:00the most accurate
15:01traitor hunter
15:01because you got
15:03Kat and Alan correct.
15:04I mean,
15:04you're more on
15:05a traitor's safari.
15:06You didn't actually
15:07hunt all of the traitors.
15:10And of course
15:11you were the leader
15:11of the big dog theory.
15:12I mean,
15:13how did you do it?
15:14Because you seem to have
15:14all these brilliant theories
15:15but you couldn't
15:17quite convince
15:18every one of them.
15:19Well,
15:19yeah,
15:21they were sort of
15:22stolen theories,
15:23majority.
15:24I was like,
15:24oh,
15:24that sounds good.
15:25Yeah,
15:26we'll go with that one
15:27and then amalgamate one
15:28and then
15:29trying to convince
15:31the rest of the
15:32players to get round it
15:34was a lot harder
15:35than I thought.
15:36Kate,
15:37why do you think
15:37people latched on
15:38to the big dog theory
15:39and not other theories,
15:41for example,
15:41the sun-dried tomato theory?
15:44I can't,
15:45I can't imagine.
15:46I'm genuinely
15:47flabbergasted.
15:48Here we go.
15:53I mean,
15:54the sun-dried tomato,
15:55it's very,
15:55very common
15:56in criminal law,
15:57the sun-dried tomato theory.
15:59So,
15:59yeah,
16:00it's weird,
16:00isn't it?
16:01David,
16:02I want to ask you
16:02about that final round table
16:03because obviously
16:04it came to two apiece
16:06for you and Kat.
16:07You'd obviously
16:08had a lot of suspicion
16:09on you
16:09throughout the game,
16:10including that incredibly
16:11tense round table
16:13with Mark.
16:13Yeah,
16:13I remember.
16:14Did you,
16:15did you think
16:16that this was it for you?
16:17Did you think your luck
16:18had finally run out?
16:20I was mainly thinking
16:21that this was our
16:22kind of last chance
16:22to try to get a traitor.
16:24I wasn't really thinking
16:24about me getting voted out
16:26and I,
16:26I had come round
16:28to that point
16:29by talking to Nick
16:29in particular,
16:30thinking it was Kat.
16:31So I was mainly focused
16:33on can we,
16:34can we get a traitor?
16:35Joe's grand plan
16:36went up in flames,
16:38sadly.
16:39How did you feel
16:39in that moment
16:40when,
16:40when David and Nick
16:41voted for you?
16:42Because you seemed
16:43genuinely surprised.
16:44I think you've been amazing
16:45throughout the game
16:46of putting on a face
16:47and really,
16:48really sort of
16:49psyching people out
16:50a little bit
16:50and maintaining
16:51this character
16:52and you're doing it
16:53to me now
16:53and I know
16:53what you're doing,
16:54Joe.
16:55But in that moment
16:56you seemed to drop
16:57everything
16:57and you were
16:58genuinely surprised.
16:58I was,
16:59it was a combination
17:01of like gutted.
17:03I was like,
17:03oh no,
17:04I really like,
17:06this has backfired
17:07massively.
17:07What have I got wrong?
17:08And then I just want,
17:09I was desperate
17:10to get out
17:11and go,
17:11right,
17:11where's Kat?
17:12I need like
17:13to see you.
17:14I knew you were a traitor
17:15but I was like,
17:16I just need to see you.
17:16I'm sorry I voted you
17:17even though it was a traitor.
17:19Yeah,
17:19it was a surprise
17:20but there's no hard feelings
17:22at all
17:22because ultimately
17:23it was just
17:23a really,
17:24really big fun game.
17:25You'd said you had
17:26some suspicions over Alan.
17:28I did.
17:29And then you didn't
17:30vote for him.
17:31You didn't vote
17:31to carry on the game.
17:32I didn't vote for Alan
17:33once in the whole
17:34show I think.
17:36But going into
17:37that end game
17:38you were like,
17:38I've got some suspicion
17:39and the way the game works
17:40if no one's saying
17:41whether they're traitor
17:42or faithful,
17:43the safe thing to do
17:44would be to
17:44carry the game on.
17:46Yeah.
17:46But you didn't do that.
17:47Can you talk us through
17:48the thought process?
17:50I just don't know
17:51what I was thinking.
17:52I feel like
17:53Alan,
17:54Alan's just very,
17:57Alan is incredibly
17:58persuasive
17:58because he's so relaxed
18:00and he's so Alan
18:01and he's so,
18:02he was just so convincing
18:03throughout the whole game
18:05and I just,
18:05I was like,
18:06you know what,
18:06I think we've got it.
18:08I think we've now
18:09just got that final traitor
18:10which I believed
18:11to be Joe
18:11at that point.
18:12How did it feel
18:13watching the final back?
18:14It was,
18:15I mean,
18:15I was sat behind you
18:16so I was just
18:17an absolute wreck.
18:20It's so great.
18:21It's such great telly.
18:22Can I,
18:22big shout out,
18:23I don't know the name
18:24of who composes the score
18:25but the score
18:26is absolutely phenomenal
18:28because it is,
18:31it is so,
18:33it feels like you're
18:33watching a Marvel movie
18:35or something.
18:35It is just cliffhanger,
18:37suspense,
18:38release,
18:39suspension,
18:39tense,
18:39it is,
18:40it's absolutely,
18:41all the emotions
18:41and that last,
18:42yeah,
18:43that last 15,
18:4320 minutes
18:44I was just clinging
18:45onto Joe
18:46and shouting cat
18:48and...
18:48It was brilliant, Nick.
18:48Me and Nick
18:49bumped into each other
18:50in town the other day
18:51and he dragged me
18:53down a dark alley.
18:54It was very traitors-esque.
18:56Dragged me down a dark alley
18:57and went,
18:57everyone's gonna hate me.
18:59But we don't hate him,
19:01do we,
19:01at all?
19:01No.
19:03That wasn't everyone.
19:04Okay.
19:05About 30%.
19:07And then came the time
19:10to reveal your identities.
19:12But before we discuss
19:13that with our winner,
19:14Alan,
19:14I have my own reveal to do.
19:16I've been teasing
19:17on Uncloaked
19:17about my secret cameo
19:18in the main show
19:19and I've been telling you
19:20at home to watch out
19:21for my Easter egg.
19:22Did you spot me?
19:23Well, I can now
19:24exclusively reveal
19:25where I was hiding.
19:30For me,
19:31the only time I saw you
19:32ever intimidated
19:32in the game, Joe,
19:33do you remember
19:34the mission in the cabin?
19:37Hmm.
19:37So as you approach,
19:39there's druids
19:40lining the path.
19:41Yes.
19:42And then there's
19:43one druid in the middle.
19:44They swing your door open
19:45and pull you out the car.
19:47Pulled me out the car.
19:47You seemed very scared
19:48by that guy.
19:49My adrenaline did spike.
19:51Yeah.
19:51And I was like,
19:52I'm going for this one.
19:53From what I could tell,
19:54the druid wasn't scared
19:55of you at all
19:56and he did really,
19:57really well.
19:58He did do really well.
19:58Yeah.
19:59Even though he's not
20:00normally a druid.
20:01What's that fact?
20:02What?
20:02Would you like to tell me
20:05who was that druid?
20:06Me.
20:07I was the druid.
20:07You were that druid?
20:09I was that druid, yeah.
20:09Are you taking the mic?
20:12I was the druid.
20:14I was ready to fill you in.
20:17Because you kept going,
20:18you kept going,
20:19oh, you're just going
20:20to touch me, are you?
20:22This is so good.
20:31Yes, I wasn't the drummer
20:33from episode eight.
20:34I was in fact a druid.
20:36Nick, you were the other person
20:38I dragged from the Land Rover there.
20:40Yeah.
20:41Do you want to,
20:41I mean, we did tell you,
20:42we did film a reveal.
20:43Do you want to tell everyone
20:44what happened when I revealed
20:45to you that I was the druid?
20:46Well, from memory,
20:48I mean, I knew that it was you
20:49right from the start
20:50because I could see your eyes.
20:52And Ed and I were at uni together.
20:55I was slightly after him.
20:56And so I've known Ed for ages.
20:57I was like,
20:58well, that's Ed.
21:01I was gutted when you told me.
21:02I was so excited
21:03to reveal it to you.
21:04And there was a real
21:05actually sense of,
21:06I was like,
21:06oh, one of my friends is here.
21:08It was really nice.
21:10But yeah,
21:11I mean, I knew it was you instantly.
21:13Well, now's the time
21:14you've all been waiting for.
21:15After sweating and worrying
21:16he'd be worse than Linda
21:18to cold-bloodedly killing his friends,
21:20our winner, Alan,
21:20is about to join me.
21:22But first,
21:22here's the moment
21:23he spoke to me in the castle
21:24just after he pulled
21:25the charity prize money
21:26from underneath
21:26Nick and David's noses.
21:28Hello, how are you?
21:36Oh, the winner.
21:37The winner.
21:42Welcome to Uncloaked, Alan.
21:44Oh, thanks for having me, Ed.
21:46Congratulations, the winner.
21:47I know, still hasn't sunk in.
21:49It's insane, isn't it?
21:50It is insane.
21:51When Claudia
21:52initially selected you as a traitor,
21:54did you ever,
21:55in your wildest dreams,
21:56see yourself at that endgame
21:57and winning
21:58the whole of the show?
21:59No, no, no, no, no.
22:01I did not even think
22:02I would get this far.
22:04My agent,
22:04this is a little exclusive,
22:06had actually booked in things
22:07for the second week
22:09because he said,
22:10Alan,
22:11he said,
22:11your poker face
22:12you'll be out
22:13two days in
22:15and I actually believed him.
22:16And that's even before
22:17you knew
22:18whether you were a traitor
22:18or a faithful.
22:19You just assumed
22:20whichever you were,
22:21you were going to go out early.
22:22Yeah, yeah, yeah.
22:23I mean, I'm like that
22:23when I go through customs,
22:24I start sweating.
22:25You know,
22:26when I go into a newsagent
22:27it says,
22:27no shoplifting,
22:29I'm like,
22:29oh,
22:29like that.
22:30You know,
22:31it's just,
22:31I just feel I'm guilty
22:32and I've got the worst
22:33poker face going.
22:35I mean,
22:35it's like
22:36a tug of war
22:38with my face.
22:39That endgame as well
22:40felt like
22:41the first time
22:42that we saw
22:42serious Alan
22:43in the game.
22:44Yeah, yeah.
22:44Was that a challenge?
22:46Did you suddenly feel
22:47different at that endgame?
22:48I did feel different
22:49and
22:50it's that weird irony,
22:52the more missions you do,
22:54the more you spend
22:55time with people,
22:56you are like a family
22:57and it's that cheesy
22:58and bleh,
22:59but it is true.
23:01Of course,
23:01when you see the money
23:02behind,
23:04I mean,
23:04Β£87,500
23:06for a charity,
23:08that's when,
23:09yeah,
23:09come on,
23:09Alan,
23:09stop giggling.
23:11Celia said something
23:12lovely to me
23:13before I murdered her.
23:14She said,
23:15she said,
23:17Alan,
23:17you're surprising.
23:18You surprised me
23:20the way you ran
23:20across that bridge
23:21and I thought,
23:23well,
23:23that's the best
23:25you can do
23:25is surprise yourself.
23:27So, yeah.
23:27Alan,
23:28are you proud
23:28of how well
23:29you played the game?
23:30So proud.
23:31Really,
23:32really proud.
23:33I found out
23:34about myself.
23:35I can be a chameleon.
23:37I can chat.
23:38I can lie.
23:40I can,
23:41when the pressure's on,
23:42I can do it.
23:43When Stephen Fry talks
23:45or David talks,
23:46I go quiet.
23:47I'm not worthy.
23:48I'm not intelligent.
23:49But maybe sometimes
23:50you do need to question,
23:52stand up for yourself
23:53and go,
23:53actually,
23:54I think this.
23:56Yeah.
23:56So, yeah, yeah.
23:57I think,
23:58well,
23:58I think you winning
23:59has absolutely proved that.
24:00Yeah.
24:01Idiots can do well.
24:03LAUGHTER
24:03APPLAUSE
24:06The winner
24:09of the first
24:10UK Celebrity Traitors
24:12is Alan Carr.
24:13APPLAUSE
24:14There it is.
24:27Alan,
24:27congratulations again.
24:29What a huge triumph.
24:30Is it fair to say
24:31that no-one's more shocked
24:32than you
24:32that you managed to pull this off?
24:33I am so shocked.
24:34It is true what I said.
24:35I had to ring up my,
24:36the woman who was
24:37dog-sitting my dogs
24:38because I thought
24:39I'd be back after two days
24:40and then you've got them
24:41for another week
24:41and it just kept getting
24:43more and more and more.
24:44I'm completely surprised.
24:46I don't know
24:47how this happened.
24:48I really don't.
24:49Look,
24:50and when we were watching it back,
24:51you got a big standing ovation
24:52right at the end there.
24:53Oh, I know, I know.
24:55It's so amazing.
24:56I feel,
24:56I do feel bad
24:57for doing it
24:58but, I mean,
24:59what can you do?
25:00It's, you know,
25:01I mean,
25:01I felt bad.
25:02But you played the game
25:03and you were incredible at it.
25:04I know, I know, I know.
25:06How did it feel
25:07watching the end game back?
25:08Oh, God,
25:09so emotional.
25:10I mean,
25:10me crying as well.
25:12I mean,
25:13because I couldn't remember
25:14how,
25:14because Joe,
25:15Joe was on to us
25:16and I couldn't remember
25:18how you got voted out
25:19but then I lied
25:20and said you'd told us
25:21all to vote for David
25:22and I'd forgotten
25:23I'd lied.
25:24What have I become?
25:27You did quite a lot
25:28of lying actually, Alan.
25:29I did loads of lying
25:30and I started loving it.
25:31I just hope
25:32there's not like
25:32a murder in my street.
25:34You know what I mean?
25:34I opened the door,
25:35hello, officer.
25:39I didn't see anything.
25:42Yeah, I mean,
25:42it just comes
25:43really naturally to me.
25:44I mean, yeah.
25:46Can we talk
25:48about your journey
25:49from sweaty Alan
25:50to serial killer Alan?
25:51Yes, please.
25:52What was the moment
25:53that you dried out
25:54and thought,
25:55I can do this?
25:56Well, it was...
25:58When I killed Paloma...
26:01Oh!
26:03Give me a break.
26:06Because the thing is,
26:07when I killed Paloma,
26:08yeah,
26:09I felt sick inside
26:11and you've got to remember
26:12it was such a cruel twist
26:14to touch someone's face.
26:16Now, you're the only one.
26:17Maybe...
26:17And Jonathan was a traitor.
26:18I couldn't...
26:19I mean,
26:19if I touched
26:20any of these other faces,
26:21I'd be sent to hate
26:22HR.
26:24You know,
26:24old roof,
26:25hello.
26:26You know,
26:27I can't.
26:28So I dare.
26:29And then,
26:29when she came down
26:30for breakfast
26:31the next day,
26:31I went,
26:32oh,
26:32because I felt so sick.
26:33I thought,
26:34oh, good,
26:34she hasn't been murdered.
26:35I was so pleased.
26:36Lovely.
26:37And then we go outside.
26:38You're dressed as Queen Victoria.
26:40We then go to a funeral.
26:42I then see one of my best friends
26:43put in a coffin
26:45and sent off.
26:46I went,
26:47this is not going well.
26:48This is not what I wanted,
26:50you know.
26:51But then I got a taste for it.
26:52I couldn't stop.
26:53And then after I killed Paloma,
26:55then I got all the gays getting,
26:56because when we killed Tom Daly,
26:59oh,
27:00Gray Allen killing off
27:01all the eye candy.
27:02I'm like,
27:03hello.
27:03And then I saw him in the shower
27:10soaping himself up
27:12and I was like,
27:12I killed too soon.
27:16Maybe one more week.
27:18Maybe one more week.
27:22But then you know.
27:25I think it's fair to,
27:26there are a few moments
27:27throughout your time on the show
27:29where we might have thought
27:30as viewers,
27:30I'm not sure if Alan can pull this off.
27:32One of them was certainly
27:33when you had to say
27:34I am a faithful to everyone.
27:35Oh my God.
27:36And laughed halfway through.
27:37How do you adjust your game plan
27:40after things like that?
27:40And do you adjust your game plan?
27:42Well,
27:43I thought I was finished then.
27:45I thought I was finished
27:46when I went,
27:46I'm a faithful.
27:48I thought,
27:49oh,
27:49that's it.
27:49And then Joe was on to me.
27:52And yeah,
27:52I just sort of gave up really.
27:54But I'm,
27:55but that's one thing
27:56I found out about myself.
27:58I am like a bit of a pushover,
28:00but when Joe
28:01is on to me,
28:03I'm like one of those cats
28:04you get in Greece.
28:05You know,
28:06those ones that are like,
28:07you go,
28:07oh, hello.
28:10You know,
28:11you go,
28:12oh, hello.
28:12You look quite cat.
28:15Claudia,
28:16did you ever doubt
28:16Alan's ability
28:17to pull this off?
28:19Yeah.
28:19No,
28:22I can say,
28:23I hope you don't mind this,
28:24but Alan started as Linda
28:26and ended as Harry.
28:28He had a extraordinary,
28:30because at the beginning
28:31when you came up to me,
28:32I can't do it.
28:34And he was like,
28:35I'm sweating.
28:36I can't keep a straight face.
28:39But he was absolutely,
28:41A,
28:41you're utterly brilliant,
28:43incredibly clever
28:43and totally consistent.
28:45So Alan was Alan.
28:47And if you didn't suspect him
28:48from day one,
28:49it's Alan.
28:50He can't say I'm a faithful.
28:51He's forgotten
28:52he's had a shield.
28:53My favourite Alan moment,
28:55almost,
28:55was you talking to Celia.
28:57And Celia said,
28:58can I trust you?
28:59And you went,
28:59you can trust me.
29:01And you had snakes
29:02all over your top.
29:03And I was like,
29:04it's right there, guys.
29:07But it's interesting,
29:08I thought,
29:09I'm quite happy
29:09at the beginning
29:10to be a faithful.
29:11And then,
29:12of course,
29:12when you're sitting there
29:13and you've got the blindfold on
29:14and you pick,
29:15I mean,
29:15I don't know what shoes
29:16you're wearing,
29:17but you sounded like
29:18a shire horse
29:19I get a bit flamingo.
29:23And then when you went round
29:24and didn't touch me,
29:26there was a little bit like,
29:28oh,
29:28okay,
29:28I'm going to be a faithful,
29:29that's fine.
29:30So I realised deep inside,
29:31I probably did want
29:32to be a traitor.
29:33And then,
29:33of course,
29:33you come round again
29:34and then when you squeezed
29:35my shoulders,
29:36I was like,
29:36oh my God.
29:37But you were so sweet
29:37because those chats
29:38where I have with everyone,
29:39they're much longer
29:40than you see.
29:41And as I said,
29:42there are some people
29:42who are just,
29:43don't even,
29:43Mark,
29:44like,
29:44I only want to be a faithful
29:45and many others.
29:49And then you going,
29:51did you really say that?
29:52I was like,
29:52that literally word for word
29:54is what he said.
29:55And you said,
29:56yeah,
29:56I want to be a traitor
29:57and then burst out laughing
29:58and we were like,
29:59oh yeah,
30:00have fun.
30:00I think if I did have a strategy,
30:02I think it was,
30:04look at me now,
30:04now I've won,
30:05I've got a strategy.
30:08I think what I did was,
30:10I picked one,
30:11I mean,
30:11if I was pushed
30:12to do a strategy,
30:13like with Claire,
30:14I wouldn't let her go
30:15about the lever.
30:16And then with Mark,
30:18you know,
30:18when you get all brave heart,
30:20I want to win!
30:21Like that.
30:22I said,
30:23why are you being all like this?
30:24And then poor old Kate,
30:26I was making out,
30:26she was Goldie Hawn.
30:28This dizzy blonde.
30:30I just kept saying to people,
30:32why?
30:33Why?
30:33You know,
30:34she's a broadcaster,
30:35she's live on the telly
30:37every morning.
30:37Why?
30:38That's what I was doing.
30:39I mean,
30:39have you seen that brilliant thing
30:41on social media?
30:42Kate Garroway repeats everything.
30:44Have you seen it?
30:45Someone's been recruited.
30:47Someone's been recruited!
30:50Sun-dried tomatoes.
30:51Sun-dried tomatoes!
30:53But I mean,
30:54I think if I had a strategy,
30:55I just picked one thing
30:57and really went,
30:58oh,
30:58I don't know about them.
30:59They give me the eebie-jeebies.
31:01I mean,
31:01I hate to bang on too much
31:03about the Trojan horse mission,
31:04but I do want to chat to you
31:05a little bit, Claire.
31:07Are you still kicking yourself
31:09for pulling the lever?
31:10Oh, God, yes.
31:11And will do
31:12for a very long time.
31:13It was awful.
31:14As Alice,
31:14my wife,
31:15said to me,
31:15for God's sake,
31:16there would have been
31:16no one left on stage.
31:1726?
31:18What were you thinking?
31:19I was like,
31:20well,
31:20I just thought,
31:20start high and come down
31:22because we'll get more chances.
31:23They're working it out.
31:24Mark and Stephen
31:25are working it out.
31:26And I'll just start trying.
31:28And I was conscious of time.
31:30By the way,
31:31it makes total sense.
31:32It makes total sense.
31:34You're very sweet.
31:35No,
31:35but when you see
31:36those kinds of locks,
31:37you know,
31:37like a padlock,
31:38you have a couple of goes.
31:40That's what you did
31:41on the train,
31:42in fact.
31:42So it made total sense to me.
31:44No,
31:44I still feel really bad about it
31:46and then I sort of shrank.
31:47But somebody talked to me
31:48the other day about it
31:49and he's a legal advocate
31:50and he said,
31:51although you made the mistake,
31:53at least you did put your hand up
31:54straight away
31:55and go,
31:55oh my God,
31:56I am so sorry.
31:57And then Charlotte
31:57gave her shield up
31:58straight away
31:59for which she didn't get
32:00enough credit.
32:00So I'm giving her credit now.
32:02Yes.
32:02And we carried on
32:03and we still won the mission.
32:04So actually,
32:05it didn't cost us anything
32:07money-wise.
32:07Yeah.
32:08I just looked a major tit.
32:09So I'm happy to take that
32:10for the team.
32:11I'll just take the idiot,
32:13you know,
32:13mantle.
32:14No one thinks that,
32:15Claire.
32:15Mark,
32:16I've just noticed
32:16you're wearing a T-shirt there.
32:18Will you tell us
32:19what the T-shirt says?
32:21It says,
32:22Jonathan fucking Ross.
32:27I would like to say
32:28I have given him one too.
32:30All right.
32:30As his early Christmas present.
32:32That's brilliant.
32:34We have to talk about
32:35that final mission
32:36because that was amazing.
32:38It looked incredible.
32:39The explosion at the end.
32:41Kat,
32:42how much did you enjoy
32:42that final mission?
32:44Your one last chance
32:44to get money for the pot?
32:45It was really fun.
32:47I mean,
32:48if I'm being honest,
32:49I really probably
32:49didn't do anything.
32:51It was mainly Joe.
32:52As I was to, like,
32:53grab something,
32:54then I saw the, like,
32:55having to take off
32:56the thing off the coffin
32:57and I was like,
32:57mm, that's going to hurt my hands.
32:59That's why you went and did this.
33:01You just sort of did everything
33:02and I was like,
33:03aw, yay,
33:04the boys are doing things.
33:04Mm.
33:08I think my favourite moment
33:09of that mission, though,
33:10was Nick dropping the lid
33:12on Joe's head repeatedly.
33:15And I just hope
33:16you are friends now.
33:17It's a precursor
33:17of what was to come, really.
33:18I think...
33:19I should have known then.
33:21Three times, mate.
33:22Three times.
33:23It sounds really loud
33:24when you watch it back as well.
33:26Oh, it was loud.
33:27I mean,
33:27it literally is a wooden,
33:28it was a wooden lid
33:29dropping on his head repeatedly
33:30while we were basically
33:32watching the new Chuckle Brothers.
33:35Incredible.
33:36Alan, you forgot you had a shield
33:37and obviously Joe picked up on this.
33:40Joe, why do you think
33:41no one else got on board with this?
33:43Because it seemed to be
33:44one of the clearest bits of evidence
33:45you had that Alan was a traitor.
33:48Again, a combination of not, like,
33:50really backing myself
33:51to convince everyone,
33:53but also I was madly in love
33:55with Alan as well.
33:56Like, even when I went after him
33:58and he came back at me
33:59like the Greek cat,
34:01I then was like,
34:02well, bless.
34:04I was like,
34:05okay, fair enough.
34:06So, yeah,
34:08I think there might have been
34:09something inside me
34:09that was like,
34:10I quite like Alan
34:11still being in the game.
34:13Because we were duped,
34:14weren't we?
34:14He was being really friendly
34:15to us, weren't he?
34:16And we were like,
34:17we couldn't believe our luck
34:18because Joe was coming
34:19and sitting with us going,
34:21you know,
34:21I think it's Nick and David.
34:22We thought we'd won.
34:23And we're like,
34:24yeah, Joe, yeah.
34:25Yeah.
34:26High-fiving and all that.
34:27You went,
34:28oh, bless him
34:29as I walked off
34:30and I've only just seen that.
34:31I went,
34:31oh, okay.
34:32I see.
34:33But then when you put
34:34Cat on the sleigh,
34:35I couldn't,
34:36I mean,
34:36that was like
34:37a punch in the stomach.
34:39That was,
34:40I was like,
34:40don't leave me here.
34:41Don't leave me here.
34:42Nick and David,
34:43obviously neither of you
34:45went for Alan in the end.
34:46What is it about Alan Carl
34:48that made you eventually
34:49decide he was a faithful?
34:51Alan could have come down
34:52to breakfast
34:53in a green cloak
34:54and I still wouldn't have
34:54thought he was a traitor.
34:55I just thought
34:58someone who was a traitor
34:59would look a bit less
35:01guilty the whole time
35:02and you just,
35:03Alan was being himself
35:04and also,
35:05you know,
35:05it's the thing,
35:06you just made me laugh
35:07the whole time.
35:07I was too busy laughing
35:09to be suspicious.
35:11I think it's something
35:11that,
35:12I think,
35:12I think something that,
35:14I think something that Tom said
35:15actually really,
35:16really early on
35:17was that comedians
35:20or some of the stand-ups
35:21could sort of
35:22slightly deflect by
35:23kind of just making you laugh.
35:24You said it,
35:25sorry Kat,
35:25I apologise.
35:26And it's so true
35:28and actually,
35:28but Alan was just being Alan
35:30and it's so hilarious,
35:31like inherently hilarious
35:32that it just completely
35:34throwed us off
35:34every single time.
35:34Were you worried about
35:35the way Alan was acting though,
35:37Kat?
35:37Because we saw loads of moments
35:39where you just had to
35:40tell him to be quiet.
35:41Yeah,
35:42but even at the last,
35:43even on the last episode,
35:44just going,
35:45please don't,
35:45don't shout.
35:46I was,
35:47I was shocked
35:47when I was cutting up that lemon
35:48and I watched it on the telly.
35:50What are we gonna do, Kat?
35:51I didn't think
35:54I was that loud.
35:54I feel like,
35:55like after a few days in
35:57or a few episodes in,
35:58I was kind of like,
36:00the best,
36:00like,
36:01that's exactly
36:01what I said to Nick.
36:03Comedians,
36:03the best way to disarm people
36:04is make them laugh.
36:05So people would be
36:06suspicious of Alan
36:07and then say something to him
36:08and he'd just make them laugh
36:09and then they'd go,
36:10oh, ha ha,
36:10never mind.
36:11So I was like,
36:12Alan's never gonna get caught
36:13because no one
36:14could think that he could do it.
36:16I mean,
36:16even with John,
36:16everyone,
36:17I did it.
36:18Yeah.
36:19By the fire bit,
36:20I did it.
36:21Yeah.
36:24He talked and said,
36:25I'm gonna have to have a word
36:26with him about that.
36:28Alan,
36:29that final round table,
36:31when you saw that
36:32Joe had switched the vote
36:34that you thought
36:34he was gonna do
36:35and he voted for Kat,
36:36what are you feeling
36:37in that moment?
36:39Oh,
36:40I mean,
36:40yeah,
36:41I was shocked.
36:42Like I said,
36:43I thought he was,
36:44I thought we'd really got him
36:45and then,
36:46yeah,
36:47and then I did,
36:47it was like a punch in the summer.
36:49I felt physically sick
36:50and then I felt so alone
36:52because,
36:53you know,
36:53we were a great team together.
36:55So yeah,
36:56yeah,
36:56it was,
36:57really,
36:57you did pull the rug for it.
36:59And he'd been so sweet,
37:00so lovely
37:01and all that.
37:02But did you think you were like,
37:04did you think Nick
37:04was then gonna vote
37:05against you as well then?
37:07Or did you think?
37:08I didn't really,
37:09you know,
37:10I just didn't really think.
37:12I don't,
37:13I don't know.
37:15It was quite emotional
37:16for you at the end though.
37:17We saw you get quite...
37:18Oh God,
37:18I know.
37:18Well,
37:19all the lying
37:19and all that,
37:20it all just came bubbling up
37:22and it was,
37:23yeah,
37:23and then I think,
37:24you know,
37:25about getting,
37:26but you know,
37:27the charity I picked,
37:29I mean,
37:29I'm not,
37:29but you know,
37:31listen,
37:31the charity I picked
37:32is a really great charity
37:34and I know
37:35that that money
37:36is gonna do them
37:37so much good.
37:38So that was there,
37:39I was thinking about
37:40all the lovely people
37:42I'd murdered,
37:43I felt bad
37:44and then it all came up
37:46and then when I saw
37:47that green come up,
37:48I was like,
37:49oh my God,
37:49then I got my coat
37:50like that
37:51and then I thought,
37:52oh God,
37:53and then,
37:54I mean,
37:54your reactions
37:55when it came out.
37:56Let's remind ourselves
37:57of that emotional moment.
38:00Oh,
38:00it's been tearing me apart.
38:03I'm so sorry.
38:05Oh,
38:05you did brilliantly.
38:07He did brilliant.
38:08He did brilliant.
38:10He did brilliant.
38:10It's a game.
38:11He did brilliantly.
38:12He did brilliantly.
38:13It's a game.
38:16And what you didn't,
38:17what you didn't see,
38:18I turned into that
38:19Greek cat and bit him.
38:23Alan,
38:24you said that
38:24it was tearing you apart.
38:26It was.
38:26Cat,
38:26can I ask you
38:27as someone who watched
38:28Alan write
38:29the murdered player's name
38:30every single night
38:31on the scroll,
38:32did you feel like
38:33it was tearing him apart?
38:34No,
38:35it,
38:35honestly,
38:36like walking around
38:37that castle scene
38:38and how stressed
38:38Alan was all the time,
38:40I was like,
38:40how does nobody
38:42see that it's this man?
38:43The only one
38:43that could kind of see
38:44was Claire.
38:45And I was like,
38:45if I was a faithful,
38:46I would have gone to Claire
38:47quite early on
38:48and gone,
38:48I think the same thing as you,
38:49but let's not say anything
38:50until a bit later.
38:51Let's round up some numbers.
38:53And I think that's why
38:53you ended up like going.
38:55But I,
38:56I just,
38:56he was so nervous
38:57just throughout.
38:58So when,
38:59like,
38:59when I saw you cry,
39:00I just started crying
39:00because I was like,
39:01oh,
39:02Alan.
39:02I mean,
39:03I just wanted to climb
39:03inside that suit of armor
39:05that's in the hallway.
39:06Just close the thing down
39:08and just,
39:09do you know what I mean?
39:10Just leave me alone,
39:11everyone.
39:13What about you,
39:13David?
39:13In that moment
39:14that Alan got emotional
39:15and you'd run over
39:15to comfort him?
39:16How are you feeling?
39:17Well,
39:17it was such a genuine moment.
39:18It was just poured out of Alan
39:20and it was,
39:21it snapped us out of that thing.
39:23You know,
39:23this is a game.
39:24And the genuine nature
39:26of Alan's response
39:27just made us,
39:28you know,
39:28the obvious,
39:28the human thing to do
39:29was to,
39:30you know,
39:31give him a hug
39:31and say it's a game
39:32and you won,
39:33you did brilliantly.
39:34Now,
39:34Alan,
39:35before we go,
39:35there's a bit of
39:36unfinished business
39:37to quote you.
39:38We've heard from Paloma
39:39on Uncloaked,
39:41but we want to hear
39:42how was it murdering
39:43your good friend?
39:45It was,
39:46I can't even do it.
39:49It was so awful.
39:50It was so awful.
39:52And it was weird
39:53because,
39:53you know,
39:54I love,
39:54you know,
39:54I'm a fan of her music.
39:56I'm a fan of her for ages.
39:57You know,
39:58we are friends.
39:59We go on each other's podcast.
40:00But yeah,
40:01it absolutely really hurt.
40:03It really did.
40:04Now,
40:04with the nation watching,
40:05do you think it's time
40:06for an apology?
40:07I mean,
40:07Paloma sat right there.
40:09I am so sorry.
40:12You know I am.
40:13And I want to tell
40:14everyone that I'm
40:15the father of a child.
40:21It was great.
40:22We had a make-up hug.
40:23One thing led to another.
40:26I have been known
40:27time to turn people.
40:28And it was an enjoyable experience
40:31for both of us,
40:32I hope.
40:32But I just also want to say
40:34that I think observing tonight
40:36and going through
40:37my whole plethora
40:38of hormonal emotions,
40:40I feel like
40:41that the reason
40:42why Alan won
40:43and the reason
40:44why I was so sad
40:45was because
40:46we all love him
40:47so much
40:48and I love you
40:51so much
40:51and I'm so happy
40:52that you won
40:53because it was bloody
40:54worth it then.
40:55Yeah.
40:55But I think that
40:56most people didn't vote for you
40:58because they're like,
40:59how can we vote someone
41:00that's so lovable?
41:00and it really concludes
41:03that thing
41:03that you won it,
41:05you hurt me
41:06and I loved you,
41:07but...
41:08Only love can hurt
41:09like that though.
41:09Yeah, only love
41:10can hurt like this.
41:13And I just think
41:15he won it
41:17because everyone loves him
41:18and the nation loves him
41:20and I'm just really happy
41:21that he won.
41:22Sorry for rubbing it in
41:23by putting your head
41:24on the coffin,
41:25by the way.
41:26It doesn't look
41:26anything like it.
41:27On reflection,
41:31how do you think
41:32the experience
41:32has changed you?
41:33Oh my God,
41:34I absolutely loved it.
41:37I absolutely loved it.
41:38We spent the whole time,
41:40didn't we,
41:40laughing
41:40and it was absolutely joyous
41:44and honestly,
41:45would I do it again?
41:47I was going to say
41:47I'd do it again.
41:48I think people would know
41:49if I turned up again.
41:51Do it!
41:52I don't think that act.
41:53Oh hello,
41:54don't mind me,
41:54what am I like?
41:55I don't think it would work.
41:56No.
41:56A second time.
41:58You would be out
41:59before the first round table.
42:00There's no way
42:01that's working again.
42:02I know,
42:02but it was wonderful.
42:03I loved it
42:04and the response
42:05has just been amazing.
42:06I'm cracking up
42:07at all the memes
42:07and it's just weird.

42:10of all the shows I've done,
