00:00Hello there and welcome to the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked, the official visualized podcast hosted
00:05by me, Ed Gamble. The wait is finally over, 19 celebrities have entered the game to try and
00:11win as much money as they can for charity, all while the faithful amongst them attempt to catch
00:15the traitors, who are working to stab them in the back. And things on Uncloaked will remain mostly
00:21the same, but with some added fun. I got to go up to the traitor's castle in Scotland and
00:26exclusively reveal to the banished and murdered faithful who the traitors are straight after
00:31they left the game. Now, before I go any further, I think it's time for a spoiler warning. If you
00:36haven't watched the first episode of the Celebrity Traitors, then get your eyeballs onto BBC iPlayer
00:40right now. So, what's coming up in our very first episode? I'll be joined by three traitor stars from
00:47Games Gone Past. Wilf from Season 1, Harry from Season 2, and Mina from Season 3. We'll discuss
00:53grave digging, Trojan horses, and that all-important traitor's pick. Plus, we'll get stuck into that
00:59cliffhanger. Who did Alan Carr choose to murder in plain sight? Not a sentence I ever thought I'd say.
01:10Wilf, Harry, Mina, welcome to the show. Straight away, I need a one-word reaction from all of you for
01:17that first episode. Mina, you first, please. Impactful. Wilf? Memeable? Memeable. Is that an
01:24actual word? I don't know, but memeable. I'm going for that. I feel like if you want to coin a new
01:28term on quotes, that's... There you go. Memeable. Memeable. Insane. Insane. Insane. Right, okay. Insane.
01:34Yeah. Impactful. Memeable. Now, in future episodes, we will, of course, be joined by all the murdered
01:40and banished celebs who leave the castle. And even though we didn't get a murder or a banishment
01:44tonight, there's still loads to discuss. So let's start with the traitor's pick, where
01:48Claudia selected Kat, Alan and Jonathan. And I think the tone was perhaps set best by Alan.
01:54I want to be a traitor.
01:58Oh, God, Al.
02:00Oh, no.
02:01You will have to stab people in the back.
02:05They'd do it to me. They're showbiz people. I'd do it to them. You know what celebrities are like.
02:11They're two-faced.
02:12I love him. I love him so much.
02:14So let's start with Alan. Mina, he clearly wants the job, but do we think he'll be any
02:19good at it?
02:19You know what? Sometimes in life, you really want things that probably aren't best for you.
02:24I imagine, like, if you've got... If you can't have dairy, you may still want cheese on your
02:30burger.
02:30Yeah.
02:30And I feel like that's what we've just watched.
02:32So you're saying Alan is the traitor's equivalent of lactose intolerance?
02:35Yes.
02:37Yes.
02:37But I love it. I just love the way he said, well, Claudia asked him, do you want to be
02:44a traitor? And he said, yes. And he just went... I just think that was brilliant.
02:47He says that celebs are two-faced, but he's got one face and it's sweating and giggling.
02:51Like, if you're looking for changes of behaviour, Harry, do you think you would have spotted
02:56that if you were at the round table? Do you think if you were a traitor with Alan, you
02:59would have immediately known even before you had the first conclave?
03:02I don't know, because everyone will expect him. Like, that's too obvious. You know, he's
03:05already sweating now asking what he's had for dinner or like, do you want my glass of
03:08rosé? He's already sweating because he doesn't know what to do. So I think it's a perfect
03:12cover-up.
03:13I also think Alan Carr would have been the same, regardless if he was a traitor or not.
03:18I do think your personality is your personality. So I think he would have been nervous at the
03:23thought of who are the traitors if he was a faithful. So he would have been sweating
03:26regardless.
03:27Yeah. And that's what I mean. And to add on to that, it's like he's the perfect choice
03:32because he has that open book about him. You know, like what you see is what you get
03:35with him. He's going to make the jokes. You're not going to know whether to trust him or
03:39believe him because he'll make all of them jokes either way. You know, like when
03:42he's joking about being on Claire's side and like he doesn't want to get rid of
03:45her yet, like he would never. It's like people are just going to see him as being
03:49him.
03:49Yeah.
03:50And then so it's easier for him to keep that secret that he actually is a
03:53traitor.
03:53But you're saying this, right? But I'm imagining Kate Garroway, if she did what she
03:58did to Cat Burns and held the hands and go, are you a traitor?
04:02Yeah.
04:02I can't imagine him reacting in a way where she wouldn't believe he's a traitor.
04:06Yeah.
04:06Well, he'd laugh and sweat.
04:08Yeah, he'd laugh.
04:08And everyone will think that's just him. That's what I'm saying.
04:11Yeah, but I think Mina's point is that he would do that whether he was a
04:15traitor or not.
04:16Do you reckon?
04:16Yeah.
04:17And people, I think people expect Alan Carr to be a laugh and to giggle
04:20throughout everything.
04:21So I think it would have been worse if he'd gone suddenly serious.
04:24Yeah.
04:25Yeah.
04:25So we'll see how it goes for Alan.
04:28Jonathan Ross was also picked another huge personality.
04:32Wilf, talk us through how you think the dynamic will play out between the
04:35traitors.
04:35Is it good to have two loud voices in the traitors?
04:38No, I think Jonathan's going to take lead.
04:41Kat's going to let him take the lead and let him think that he's in the lead.
04:46And Alan's going to be like the first person to throw under the bus if they need
04:50to.
04:50Hence why they said, you picked the flower.
04:53It's more obvious that like you could touch people's faces.
04:55Yeah.
04:55I think Jonathan Ross as well.
04:57He's doing the job that he's done for so long.
04:59He knows people.
05:00He probably knows a lot of them more than other people know each other.
05:03So I think he's going to lead the pack.
05:07What about Kat Burns though?
05:08Yeah, she's going to be amazing.
05:09She's going to be sick.
05:11Kat is in there with two big personalities.
05:13Yeah.
05:13And it's obviously slightly quieter, but it's clearly thinking about the game and
05:17clearly has a game plan.
05:18And Kat is a massive fan of the show.
05:20Yeah.
05:21She's a massive, being a massive traitors fan, I think in itself is an advantage
05:25because you've watched it, you've tried to analyse it.
05:29And I don't think you have to be allowed to be a traitor.
05:31If anything, being quiet is a good thing.
05:34Well, Harry, you were like the quieter one out of your traitors because you had
05:37Paul and Ash in there.
05:38I was going to say like it was kind of, because I never had seen the traitors when
05:42I went on the show.
05:43So I thought that was my advantage.
05:44I didn't really know what was going on.
05:45So half the time I was a bit like, oh, I just let these two do it.
05:47You know, like I didn't know what was going on.
05:49But at the same time, I was also very much like her, quiet because like she said,
05:53the loud ones are what attracts you to them.
05:55But then not being too quiet, I think she's going to get that perfect balance.
05:58And that's the hardest thing with the game is you have to be quiet,
06:00but not too quiet.
06:01And then you have to be loud, but not too loud.
06:03So you need to find that perfect balance in the middle,
06:05which I think she's going to find.
06:07So prior to Claudia's picks, were these the three that you're expecting to see
06:11as traitors or was there anyone you thought might have been better in the turret?
06:14I thought Tom Daly would have made it.
06:17Yeah, we're saying that to you.
06:17I mean, he's straight into the game, isn't he, Tom?
06:19You can tell he wants to get involved.
06:21Yeah.
06:22Really wanted to see Nico as well, because obviously he's a prankster.
06:25And it would have been fun to see him playing pranks on people,
06:28I guess, like during the tights.
06:29That would have been cool.
06:30I think during it, when we, before we watched it,
06:33we all thought we wanted Cat Burns to be, we all agreed.
06:36We was like, we really want Cat Burns to be a traitor.
06:38And then when we seen Alan's interview,
06:42we were like, he has to be a traitor.
06:44He has to be one.
06:45It's going to be the best.
06:46And when he got tapped, we all started screaming.
06:48Because he got tapped.
06:49We're like, yes, this is going to be the best.
06:50It's very exciting.
06:51That's where you want to see him.
06:54Alan floundering is the funniest Alan.
06:57So a few words from each of you then on Jonathan, Cat and Alan.
07:01Out of 10, how strong a traitor's team is this?
07:04Wilf, let's start with you.
07:05I'm going to say 10,
07:08just for the fact that everybody brings something different to the table.
07:12And Alan's a good sacrificial lamb for now.
07:15I know it sounds really bad, but if you needed to,
07:18you'd be able to crumble him.
07:19You'd have so much evidence.
07:20I'm sorry.
07:23What about you, Mina?
07:24I feel like 10 was a really high number,
07:26but now I also want to give them a 10.
07:27I'm going to go with a 9.
07:29I think they are going to work together.
07:31I don't see anyone throwing anyone under the bus anytime soon.
07:34I think Alan's going to be a great traitor.
07:37He reminds me of a girl in the American one
07:40who also was a little bit flustered and all over the shop.
07:44She made it to the final.
07:45So I feel like they're going to work well together.
07:47I think they will recruit before any one of the three of them is banished.
07:52And Harry?
07:53I would give it a strong 8.
07:55I think 8's, for one, my favourite number, actually, by the way.
07:58One fact.
07:58And two, I just think they're an amazing team
08:01and they all seem to have taken their place.
08:04And they're going to be a strong team who works.
08:06Like you said, Jonathan Ross will be that leader.
08:08Cat Burns is the chilled one.
08:10So they're not going to be fighting for a position.
08:12I just don't think...
08:13What would have made it a 10 for me is that
08:14maybe there's a fourth traitor in there
08:17or someone who's going to be the backstabber.
08:18I want to see someone getting rid of the traitors
08:20inside of the traitors.
08:22So you're on, though.
08:22It's all about the backstabbing,
08:25but I don't see any of them backstabbing each other.
08:26Now, there are, of course, 16 other players in the game,
08:30all with different skill sets and talents.
08:32And Stephen Fry was able to pick out one person in particular
08:35when they first arrived in the castle.
08:38Because you were famous for barging into places
08:41and pretending to be things you aren't.
08:43How do you know that?
08:44Oh, I have a sticky memory.
08:47Wow.
08:48Stephen Fry knows who I am.
08:50The one thing which I wanted was to be kind of unknown to everyone.
08:54Now, everyone's going to see me as a conniving prankster.
08:58A tricky thing for Nico,
09:00because I think he was really relying on people
09:02not knowing who he was in there.
09:03But it turns out Stephen Fry loves YouTube.
09:06We're going to see him popping up in a Mr Beast video.
09:09Can we just say, describing your memory as...
09:11I've got a sticky memory.
09:12Yeah, keep it clean, Stephen.
09:13Yeah, I was like, OK, mate.
09:17Brilliant.
09:17But yeah, Nico, I think he's going to really surprise us.
09:20I think he's going to be a really good faithful.
09:23When we first started speaking,
09:26just before we started watching the show,
09:28we was like, he's going to cause havoc.
09:29Because that's just who he is.
09:31But I think he's going to really surprise people
09:33just for the fact of he is where he is
09:35because he's super intelligent as well.
09:38He's mad intelligent.
09:39I don't think anybody should dumb that down
09:40just because he does pranks.
09:41But I think he's going to surprise people
09:43and be quite a good faithful
09:44and get evidence and put it together.
09:46I think that's going to be a surprise.
09:49We'll see the true him, which will be nice to see.
09:51Yeah.
09:51Do you think he's coming across as trustworthy so far?
09:55Yeah, 100%.
09:56It's kind of weird seeing him
09:57not his energetic, pranky self
09:59or trying to get something out of someone.
10:01I think the whole situation has taken him back
10:03and now he knows he's not a traitor.
10:05He needs to be like, OK, I'm in this game now
10:07to try and find out who it is.
10:09So we've got a few comedians in the group.
10:11We've got Lucy Beaumont, Joe Wilkinson,
10:12Nick Muhammad and, of course, Traitor Alan.
10:15Mina, do you think humour plays an important part
10:17in disarming people in there?
10:19Yeah, I think being funny,
10:21making people laugh in the hardest of moments
10:24really helps you form those relationships.
10:28Nick is my favourite person ever.
10:30Yeah, he's lovely.
10:30When he was doing the mission,
10:32that little puzzle,
10:33it was the sexiest thing I've ever seen.
10:35He was just,
10:36he was working so far.
10:37It was like,
10:38and then the key just appeared.
10:40I thought, I said to these two...
10:41Mina was blown away.
10:42That was the sexiest thing
10:43I've ever seen in my life.
10:46It's brilliant.
10:47Brilliant.
10:48Well, I'll let Nick know
10:49next time I see him.
10:51Also, the humour thing, right?
10:53You talk about the humour.
10:55Alan Carr, when he goes,
10:57all right, must have took her back
10:58to the Vegas days,
10:59pulling that lever like that,
11:01you know, and made everyone laugh.
11:02It's such a good way to cover up...
11:03Do you think that puts people off
11:05thinking you're a traitor?
11:06Yeah, 100%.
11:07And also, like, for us,
11:08it's good because we know
11:09how long you're there for
11:10and, like, you're connecting with people
11:12and the connections you build.
11:13Obviously, they might have connections
11:15that they built outside of it,
11:16which is different to us.
11:17But when you're in there
11:18and it's so intense
11:19and it's so high pressure
11:21on your shoulders
11:21and everyone's stressed,
11:23the people who make you laugh
11:24are the people you want there
11:25by your side.
11:26Because they give you an escape
11:27of what's actually going on
11:28and, okay, like,
11:29I don't have to stress for a bit
11:30or this pressure's gone
11:31because they're making me laugh.
11:33Yeah.
11:33So they're the people
11:33that people will want around them.
11:35So then that really helps
11:37being the funny one.
11:39There's loads of actors
11:40in the group
11:40too.
11:41We've got Ruth, Tamika,
11:42Mark, Celia.
11:44Wilf, do you think
11:45the ability to mask
11:46your true thoughts
11:47and feelings is of use
11:48or is being genuine
11:50a bit more of an effective strategy?
11:52I just think
11:52trying to be as genuine
11:54as possible
11:54is going to go further.
11:55I remember Maddie.
11:57As soon as we found out
11:58she was an actress,
11:58we were like,
11:59yeah, she's acting
12:00the whole thing.
12:00She's not a real person.
12:02So I think if they try
12:03to become a character,
12:05they're going to know,
12:05aren't they?
12:06And I think it's just best
12:06trying to be as genuine
12:07as possible.
12:08I think we had an actor
12:09but she didn't know
12:10she was an actor.
12:11Charlotte, remember?
12:12She said she was Welsh
12:13and she wasn't.
12:14That's acting.
12:14That is acting.
12:16Let's go back
12:16to the start of the episode
12:17when the celebs
12:18were chauffeured up
12:19to the Traitor's Castle
12:20but when they arrived,
12:21Claudia decided
12:21to do something
12:22a little bit different
12:23to kick things off.
12:24So players,
12:26good luck.
12:28It's time to save yourselves
12:29in
12:30three
12:32two
12:33one
12:35dig.
12:39I was like a T-Rex
12:41or a kangaroo
12:42but then I tipped forward
12:44and I was like that.
12:49Right, Celia,
12:51I'm going to help you first.
12:52Why?
12:53Nick, did you find
12:54your own shield?
12:54No.
12:56So shields in this game
12:57can be a help
12:58or a hindrance.
12:59Do they bring
13:00unwanted attention sometimes?
13:02Yeah, if you give it up
13:03like Charlotte did
13:04and now people think
13:05she's potentially a traitor
13:06because she,
13:07like, it's just insane.
13:09You're damned if you do,
13:10you're damned if you don't
13:11with this game.
13:12I would always try
13:13for a shield.
13:14Whether you're a traitor
13:15or a faithful,
13:16always try for a shield.
13:17It's just how you play it,
13:19isn't it?
13:19Yeah.
13:19It can always be a double bluff
13:20just like everything
13:21in this game.
13:22A shield can be
13:23the best thing
13:23but also the worst thing
13:24depending on how you play it.
13:26You know,
13:26if you give it up
13:27straight away
13:27then all it takes
13:28is someone to say
13:29well that's odd
13:29but if you win it
13:30it's like,
13:31well,
13:31we need to go for it
13:32because I don't want
13:33to be murdered tonight.
13:34Also six shields.
13:35I was going to say
13:36when they said six shields
13:37I was like,
13:38wow, that's a lot of shields.
13:38Six shields
13:39and then a murder
13:39in plain sight.
13:40So not only are you
13:41trying to find
13:41someone's murder
13:42in plain sight,
13:42you've got to have
13:43in your head
13:43that six of them
13:45you have to avoid.
13:46But one of them
13:47is a traitor.
13:48Yes, that's true.
13:49And Charlotte's
13:50gave hers back
13:51so really
13:51we're down to four now.
13:53Celia, by the way,
13:53I would be so scared
13:54of her if I was a traitor.
13:55No, same.
13:55Because I remember
13:56Nanny McPhee, right,
13:57that was like
13:57the scariest thing
13:58when I was growing up
13:59as a kid.
13:59I remember I used
14:00to have nightmares
14:00because she was
14:01the stepmum
14:01who was nasty stepmum.
14:03She's sort of like
14:03someone you want
14:04on your side
14:05because I feel like
14:06if she's got a hunch
14:06or she's going for someone
14:07they're going down.
14:09So I would be
14:09best mates with her
14:10100%.
14:11Also, she's just got
14:12that rebellious quality
14:13where she will do
14:14the opposite
14:15of what everyone else does
14:16just because she feels
14:16like it
14:17which is dangerous.
14:18Definitely.
14:19Harry, though,
14:19to your point
14:20I don't know
14:20if I'd want to be
14:21friends with her.
14:22My bestie Nick
14:23was helping her
14:24dig up a shield
14:25and then she was like
14:26suss.
14:27They hadn't even
14:27got to the castle.
14:29Nobody's even
14:29been a traitor.
14:30She was like
14:30I don't trust him.
14:31I was like
14:31wow, okay.
14:33Nick selflessly
14:34came to help me
14:36in my grave
14:38before he didn't
14:39look for his shield
14:40and I'm thinking
14:41he's absolutely
14:42adorable
14:43or
14:44is he up to
14:45something?
14:47I just love him.
14:48We know what you
14:49think, Mina.
14:52I think he
14:53thought
14:53she deserves
14:54one for whatever
14:55reason
14:55so he thought
14:57let me help you
14:58but then I think
14:58in doing that
14:59she's now got
15:00this thing in the
15:01back of her head
15:01where why have
15:02you done that?
15:03Why you and not
15:04the other people?
15:05So sometimes
15:06being nice
15:07isn't
15:08It doesn't work out
15:08but then also
15:09it might
15:09I think creating
15:10alliances is
15:11definitely what you
15:12need.
15:12I always say this
15:13like one of the
15:14best pieces of
15:14advice is going
15:15into the traitors
15:15is you have to
15:16trust someone
15:16just hopefully
15:17not the wrong
15:17person
15:18because building
15:19alliances is
15:19what you need
15:20because if you're
15:21there alone
15:22when you have
15:23thoughts of who
15:24it is
15:24there's no one
15:25to back you
15:25there's no one
15:26to jump on
15:26your bandwagon
15:27but also if you
15:27come under fire
15:28if you have no
15:29team around you
15:30you're a goner.
15:31The strategy
15:31when we went in
15:32was we've seen
15:33groups forming
15:34it was just like
15:35murder someone
15:36from the group
15:36like just get rid
15:37of the alliance
15:38if you're faithfuls
15:39and the traitors
15:40are watching you
15:40create this alliance
15:41they're like
15:41I'll just break it up
15:42do you know what
15:43I mean
15:43just get rid of it
15:44I think the added
15:45complication of the
15:46celebrity traitors
15:47is a lot of the
15:48players know each
15:49other already
15:49Mina do you think
15:51this is going to
15:51make things harder
15:52for the traitors?
15:53100%
15:54if you already know
15:56somebody
15:56I think in your
15:58head you're like
15:58I'll know when
15:59they act different
16:00so you're going to
16:01second guess people
16:02and I think the
16:03faithful will actually
16:05knock each other
16:06out without realising
16:07because of that
16:07I mean one thing
16:08it does rule out
16:09is any secret
16:10relationships that
16:10are going to be
16:11revealed
16:11if it turns out
16:13Alan Carr
16:13Stephen Fry's son
16:14that would be
16:16amazing
16:16I think it'd be
16:19I'd just murder
16:20my closest allies
16:21straight away
16:22if I was a traitor
16:23and I was friends
16:24with people in there
16:24get rid of them
16:25can I move couches?
16:27like you would
16:28because then it
16:29just takes people
16:30out
16:30would he really
16:31just get rid of
16:32his really good
16:32friend?
16:33see I'm against it
16:34you guys are so
16:35different from me
16:36I know
16:36just because
16:36I think like
16:37I'm just saying
16:40though
16:41that's when you
16:43leave people in
16:44who are random
16:45that's when they
16:45start throwing out
16:46random accusations
16:47and if they don't
16:47know you
16:48they could wake up
16:49one day and go
16:50I think it's him
16:50and create a lie
16:51about you
16:51and then it's like
16:52well if you have
16:53someone in there
16:53who knows you
16:54it's like you know
16:55I wouldn't do that
16:55to you
16:55you know like
16:56we can work
16:56together through this
16:57so if you have
16:58friends in there
16:59I would keep them
16:59close
17:00but keep your
17:00enemies closer
17:01but like I would
17:02keep my friends
17:03in there for a bit
17:03because it's so
17:04early on
17:04just get rid of
17:05people who are
17:05random who you
17:06don't really have
17:06a connection to
17:07because they won't
17:08try and notice
17:08the change
17:09now Jonathan Ross
17:10is obviously a
17:11very famous
17:12interviewer and
17:13broadcaster
17:14do you think
17:15Wilf that his
17:16interview skills
17:17and his listening
17:17skills are going
17:18to help him in the
17:19game
17:19I think that's
17:19what he did
17:20say he did say
17:21that as well
17:21didn't he that
17:22when you're
17:23interviewing people
17:23it's a lot of
17:24listening right
17:25but will he share
17:26that information
17:26with the others
17:27that's what makes
17:28me think is
17:29going to be his
17:30strength is being
17:31able to take
17:32extract things
17:33from people
17:34like you do
17:34when you interview
17:35but is he going
17:36to share that
17:36with the other
17:37traitors if he
17:37gets bits of
17:38knowledge here
17:39that they're
17:39looking at
17:40maybe Kat Burns
17:40someone mentions
17:41her and he gets
17:42that out of
17:42someone does he
17:43go back to the
17:44traitor and tell
17:44them I'm not sure
17:45he will
17:45Alan said that
17:46he'd have no
17:47problem backstabbing
17:48people even you
17:49know people that
17:50he knows obviously
17:51in there is it
17:53difficult Harry to
17:53remove emotion
17:54from the gameplay
17:55not really it's a
17:56game the game's a
17:58game they're all
17:58there for a reason
17:59and that's to play
18:00the game for us it
18:01would have been a lot
18:01easier don't get me
18:02wrong because we
18:02didn't actually know
18:03each other yes so it
18:04was very easy to take
18:05the emotion away from
18:06it because it's like
18:07I've known these
18:08people for however
18:09long we've been
18:09playing the game
18:09when there's people
18:10at home who love
18:11me you know like I'm
18:12here for them I
18:13personally found it
18:13quite hard as the
18:15weeks got on to
18:16remove the emotion
18:17from it because as
18:18much as Harry heartless
18:20Harry over here
18:20saying I've got
18:22people at home these
18:23people mean nothing
18:23to me those people
18:24became my family so
18:26then it got a bit
18:26harder to kind of
18:27separate the game and
18:29the emotions then
18:30also you don't know
18:30how they feel because
18:31Claudia has so much
18:32aura about her and
18:33sets the scene
18:34they're like for us
18:35it's like when you go
18:36there oh this is cool
18:36it's like TV show
18:38whatever and then as
18:38soon as she walks
18:39into the room it's
18:39like oh it's actually
18:40going down and I
18:42think that's what's
18:42going to happen to
18:43them obviously we've
18:43just seen episode one
18:44and they think this is a
18:45bit of a laugh like
18:46we're on the traitors
18:47blah blah blah as
18:48soon as someone's
18:48murdered someone gets
18:49banished and they have
18:50their first round table
18:51that will all change
18:52stop it that's the
18:55thing that Claudia
18:56brings to the game
18:57that's when you're
18:58going to see the real
18:59switch yeah that's
19:00when we're here after
19:01episode one we've seen
19:02a lot but we haven't
19:03seen enough so when
19:05the first round table
19:05happens the first
19:06breakfast and pretend
19:07Alan Carr pretending
19:08he hasn't murdered
19:09someone it's going to
19:10be amazing but that
19:12part is where you're
19:13really going to be
19:14able to go yeah
19:15actually Alan's great
19:17or Alan's bad or
19:18this or that that's
19:19where you're going to
19:19be able to do it
19:20from the first
19:20breakfast it's going to
19:22be the first sort of
19:22sign of how they're
19:23going to go so at the
19:24end of tonight's
19:25episode the traitors
19:25were tasked with
19:26murdering their first
19:27faithful but with a
19:29twist it had to be in
19:30plain sight
19:31to do this you must find
19:51the poison black lily
19:53somewhere in the castle
19:54you must find this deadly
19:57flower rub your hands
19:59with the poison pollen
20:01and touch the face of
20:04the faithful you want
20:06to murder
20:06Will Van Harry you
20:08were both involved in
20:09murders in plain sight
20:10what's going to be going
20:11through their heads as
20:12they build up to do
20:12this
20:13ours was a kiss of
20:14death so and ours was
20:16like in the middle of
20:17the series I think so
20:18for me it was like I've
20:20not kissed one person
20:21so all of a sudden I'm
20:22going to kiss someone
20:23yeah it's not for me
20:24like so me and Amanda
20:25were like look you do
20:26it it's just more if I
20:27do it it's a bit more
20:28sus and I don't want
20:29the responsibility of
20:30doing it like so yeah
20:33I just pushed it on to
20:33Amanda Amanda Merda
20:34Deimos and and that
20:35was it mate
20:36the funniest thing about
20:37it all though is like
20:38we for example
20:39understand the paranoia
20:40it's actually like
20:41because you think
20:42everyone knows what's
20:42going on
20:43as soon as you walk
20:44in you see that letter
20:45like Alan did it's like
20:46oh gosh what's going on
20:48here yeah and then
20:48when they come out I
20:49can only imagine how
20:50they're feeling like
20:51you're so paranoid that
20:52everyone knows what
20:53you're up to
20:53yeah that's why
20:54they're pacing up and
20:54down but actually
20:55someone's seeing you
20:56is like they're just
20:57seeing you like normal
20:58but you don't see it
20:59from that point of view
21:00they are getting harder
21:01as well
21:01yeah yeah
21:02how do you even
21:04build up to that
21:05it's like you go up
21:06to Celia Imre
21:06and go got your nose
21:07yeah that's a good
21:09idea though
21:09because no one would
21:10think that's a bit
21:10weird until she
21:11loses her nose
21:12they would definitely
21:12think that was weird
21:13yeah or just go up
21:15to Claire Bordy
21:15and go boop
21:16it's a really hard one
21:18yeah it's a difficult one
21:19like I said earlier
21:20I do think they have
21:21got lucky that it's
21:23right at the start
21:23of the game
21:24even though there's
21:25so many people in the
21:26castle
21:27it's like for Alan
21:28for example
21:29he's doing it now
21:30so he's sort of
21:30taking the hit now
21:31and it makes sense
21:32like we've said
21:33like he would be
21:34the one out of all
21:34three to do something
21:35like that
21:36and because he's
21:37doing it so early on
21:38that could help him
21:39in the future
21:40because he can then
21:41say to the other two
21:41I've done my bit
21:42now it's down to you two
21:43and it's only going
21:44to get harder from here
21:45do you think the
21:46decision is going to
21:47be impacted by who
21:48Alan knows or
21:50because obviously
21:50there are relationships
21:51within the castle
21:52this is obviously
21:53it has to be a crime
21:54of opportunity
21:55doesn't it
21:55I think this is the
21:56time where Wilf's
21:58killing your friends
21:59thing makes sense
21:59because that's the
22:01only person that I
22:02think you can get
22:02away with this so
22:03early doors
22:04so it's going to
22:05have to be whether
22:05he wants you or not
22:06somebody that he
22:07knows somebody
22:08that he's met
22:08before or worked
22:09with or interviewed
22:10and it's just going
22:11to have to be them
22:11that's it
22:12but also shout out
22:13to Jonathan as
22:13well because he
22:14didn't just let him
22:15do it
22:15you know
22:16Pat sort of took
22:17the lid off
22:19and that was perfect
22:20because again
22:21he's not doing
22:22too much
22:22but not doing
22:23too little
22:23so he's freed up
22:24the opportunity
22:24for him to go in
22:25and rub a leaf
22:26but again if someone
22:27saw you doing that
22:27you'd have to spend
22:28the rest of the
22:29time in the castle
22:30just rubbing everything
22:31that's what I'm saying
22:33to shout out Jonathan
22:34because he got
22:34everyone out of the way
22:35he even opened the lid
22:36so he set the pathway
22:38for him to do it
22:39instead of just being
22:40like you've got to do it
22:41yeah he was helpful
22:41I never thought this
22:42morning when I woke up
22:43that I would come here
22:44and be talking about
22:45Alan Carr
22:45touching other
22:47celebrities faces
22:47that's just such a random
22:49that's the traitors for you
22:50let's talk about the mission
22:52it was epic in its scale
22:53as you might expect
22:54from the traitors
22:55but it wasn't able to pass
22:57without causing some drama
22:58well we can start trying
23:01no oh shit I've locked it in
23:08and I didn't mean to
23:09no why
23:12why did I didn't realise
23:13I locked it in
23:14sorry
23:15I thought oh we can guess
23:17lots of numbers
23:18so while they're working
23:19that out
23:19I'll just stick a number in
23:21think it was like a
23:21combination lock
23:22and you can start
23:23trying lots of numbers
23:24anyway that was it
23:26because the lever
23:26didn't go back up again
23:27I feel so sorry
23:30I feel so bad for her
23:31I mean it's very
23:33this is a TV exclusive
23:34Claire Balding
23:34doing something wrong
23:35oh honestly
23:36so Tom Daly
23:39Joe Muller
23:39and Claire Balding
23:40obviously all from
23:41the world of sport
23:42deeply competitive people
23:43Harry is competitiveness
23:45something that you think
23:46you need in the game
23:47definitely
23:47I think it's something
23:48you need in life
23:49you should want to go there
23:50and want to win
23:51and obviously them
23:52being athletes
23:53and like world class
23:54athletes as well
23:55and Olympian
23:55is what's going to
23:57make them really
23:58competitive and want to
23:59win
23:59that also brings in
24:00the teamwork too
24:01and like you've seen
24:02in that mission
24:02they all took a lead
24:03in a certain different
24:04type of role
24:05in that mission
24:06and again that's going
24:07to help because
24:08Tom Daly for example
24:09being a faithful
24:10you know any of them
24:11being they're all
24:11faithfuls
24:12that will help
24:13because as a traitor
24:14if you see that
24:15Tom Daly running all
24:16the way back to
24:16if I'm a traitor
24:17I can't be asked to do
24:18that
24:18so I'm going to keep
24:19him in
24:20so he can do that
24:20every mission
24:21early on through
24:22the missions
24:23the only way to
24:24save yourself
24:24is to be the best
24:25at the missions
24:26that's how people
24:27feel at the beginning
24:28later on different
24:29but at the beginning
24:30I think showing yourself
24:31do you think it puts you
24:31in the spotlight
24:31a bit though
24:32I think being a bit
24:34too competitive
24:34as Claire displayed
24:36in that mission
24:37is also the downfall
24:38of some people
24:39so she was obviously
24:40so like excited
24:42and desperate
24:43for the team
24:44to get to the end
24:45of that mission
24:46that she didn't even
24:47read the little plaque
24:48that was in front of her
24:49she pulled that
24:50which locked in the
24:51answer
24:51which then meant
24:52somebody had to
24:53sacrifice a shield
24:53for them to proceed
24:55automatically people
24:56are like
24:57that's traitor behavior
24:58and it was so innocent
24:59because she was doing
25:00it to help
25:00but I think she was
25:01just too competitive
25:02in that moment
25:03it's like that whole
25:05again
25:05are you doing too much
25:07the whole way
25:08through the threat
25:08is whether it's
25:09about being a traitor
25:09being a faithful
25:10being competitive
25:11trying to take the lead
25:12you've got to find
25:13that perfect balance
25:14and it's the same
25:14with the competitiveness
25:15if you're doing too much
25:16people realize that
25:17and use it against you
25:18if you're doing too little
25:19you're not doing enough
25:20Wilf do you think
25:21this could be a problem
25:21for her
25:22yes
25:22we call it
25:25invisible biscuits
25:26in my life
25:27people look for
25:28so basically
25:29people are looking
25:30for crumbs of evidence
25:31that don't actually exist
25:32right
25:32so
25:33it doesn't exist
25:34there is no evidence
25:35at the beginning
25:36of the game
25:36really
25:37so any little thing
25:38that happens
25:39people jump on it
25:40and it becomes
25:41that herd mentality thing
25:42so someone will go
25:43oh yeah Claire did it
25:44yeah
25:44because they've got
25:45no other evidence
25:46on anything else
25:47so they'll just go
25:48on whatever
25:48they can possibly find
25:49do you mind
25:50if we use
25:51invisible biscuits
25:51on cloak moving forward
25:53we can use that
25:53yeah
25:53so look
25:54this is a big question
25:55so early on
25:56but do we have
25:57any predictions
25:57on who might
25:58make the final
25:59Harry let's start
26:00with you
26:01I'm going against
26:01the grain
26:02my man Alan Carr
26:03yeah
26:04I just think
26:05he's going to be
26:05so bad
26:05he's good
26:06and great
26:06and I will happily
26:08pass him the crown
26:09if he does it
26:09what about you Mina
26:10I think
26:11Tom Daly
26:12I think Tom's
26:13going to get
26:13recruited as a traitor
26:14well I hope he does
26:15because I think
26:16he would be
26:17really good
26:18at transitioning
26:19from faithful
26:20to traitor
26:21like Charlotte
26:21last year
26:22I think Kat's
26:24going to make it
26:24to the final
26:25I think
26:27my boy Nick's
26:28going to make it
26:29to the final
26:29are you saying
26:30traitors or faithful
26:31oh traitors
26:32every day
26:32yeah
26:33what about you
26:34who do you think
26:34is going to make
26:34the final
26:35Nick
26:35I think he's
26:36he's got
26:37he seems like
26:37he's got a really
26:38calm nice persona
26:39and he'll be
26:40really good at missions
26:41it seems he's got
26:41quite a high IQ
26:43but that's not
26:44known to everybody
26:45apart from doing
26:46that puzzle
26:46but everybody's
26:48threatened by
26:48Stephen Fry
26:49because he's
26:50mad intelligent
26:51does anyone else
26:52think that
26:52that Stephen Fry
26:53is coming across
26:54like a teenage goth
26:55I see what you mean
26:57because in the car
26:57everything he says
26:58is just
26:59I know the game's
27:00about death
27:00but like
27:00they're in the car
27:01and they're like
27:02oh it's so impressive
27:04oh look the castle
27:05and then he went
27:05but what awaits us
27:06is a blizzard of horror
27:07and then they're
27:11looking at the
27:12portraits being like
27:13oh I'm so excited
27:13to be here
27:14he's like
27:14it's a pity
27:15they'll all be
27:15covered in red
27:16glasses soon
27:17yes
27:17he is basically
27:18narrating the show
27:20as we go along
27:20he really is
27:21he's very good at that
27:22picking up books
27:22off the shelf
27:23going diseases
27:23of the chest
27:24and the thing is
27:27they went back
27:28from the mission
27:28everyone's looking
27:29for traitors
27:30and he's like
27:30I want to see
27:31how many people
27:31died in Hamlet
27:32yes
