Two men have been charged over their alleged roles in the 2021 murder of a bikie associate in Sydney’s southwest.

00:00New South Wales homicide detectives have charged two men over their alleged involvement in the murder of Amar Katul in Sydney Southwest four years ago.
00:11At around 3am on January 10, 2021, the 34-year-old was gunned down on Ware Street in Fairfield in Sydney Southwest.
00:20Despite efforts to revive him, he died at the scene.
00:23Following four years of investigations, police executed two search warrants in Sydney's southwestern suburbs of Bosley Park and Austral.
00:32In Austral, police arrested a 23-year-old man while a 22-year-old man was taken into custody at the Bosley Park address.
00:39They were taken to Cabramatta Police Station where they were both charged with offences relating to the destruction of property in company using fire.
00:48Both men were formally refused bail and made their first court appearance yesterday at Fairfield Local Court.
00:54New South Wales Police will allege both men were involved in the destruction of a car used in that murder.
