00:00Hi, this is Ben Allen, artist down here in the centre of Newquay in Cornwall, just working on day three of the new mural which is based on a new series of paintings that I'm working in in my local studio.
00:13I hooked up with Jack Tierney who's responsible for organising all the Newquay mural trails and we swapped numbers and exchanged a little while ago
00:24and then this piece just happened to fit the bill perfectly for what we wanted to bring into the middle of town which is nature and colour, also showing appreciation for the local environment and the poppy fields over at Polyjoke.
00:37The timing for Newquay Remembrance Day happening on the 11th is just like a little cherry on the cake, hopefully lots of people can get their picture taken in front of this
00:47and it's great to be part of the Newquay mural trail that's been building throughout town.
