The Prime Minister of Jamaica has expressed gratitude to the international community for the help being provided to his country following the passage of a Category Five hurricane there last week.

01:16Prime Minister Passan-Missessa announced next that medical supplies from Trinidad and Tobago were sent to Jamaica on a Caribbean Airlines flight on Friday and an initial crew from TNTech, the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, departed for Jamaica last Friday to conduct an assessment and that a larger team will be sent to assist in restoring power lines.
